  1. Nope. As I've already said IMO the real crisis is indifference and denial.
  2. I've made my concerns about Carney known, he hasn't done anything to win my support - not being PP, Trump or Trudeau certainly doesn't cut it.
  3. I'm more concerned about the harm PP will do pandering to the freak show that makes up so much of the base of his support.
  4. The quandary is a fabrication. The definition of crisis is dependent on the context it's being used, health crisis, financial crisis, personal crisis, environmental crisis and on and on it goes. It's simply a qualifier that follows instead of preceding the thing in...crisis. As such a good stand alone definition might be, A crisis is any event or period that will lead to an unstable and dangerous situation affecting an individual, group, or all of society. Crises are negative changes especially when they occur abruptly, with little or no warning. You can't pin down what specific event or moment in time a crisis occurs but you'll very likely recognize one when it does. Unless you're determined to deny it but then that could be the crisis so...
  5. You're right, I really do want the 1% to run the government and get all cozy and influential with public policy makers. Who wouldn't, no poor man ever gave anyone a job right? Gosh, you're so woke. You sound like a union organizer or something.
  6. You spreading it is what caught my attention. No one does that. You're simply implying it does because of your incessantly compulsive need to write things like left4rd loser again, and again and again every time you post something.
  7. Yup. My second reason for scepticism is that as a wealth fund manager a big part of his job for clients was avoiding taxes, now he's switching hats and becoming a tax collector. Square that circle.
  8. It's like this and often much worse everywhere you go on the planet now. And now Trump wants to hose everything down with gasoline and throw a match at it.
  9. We just laugh when you bring these up. We just don't think the 1% should run the government or be anywhere near as close and influential as it is to public policy makers.
  10. Carney simply captured it. It's not like anyone can say it was deftly captured - it was sitting there like a fish in a barrel with an axe leaning against it.
  11. Yeah, I think giving up on it is definitely the wrong thing to do - the worst effect of axing it is how it feeds into the growing indifference toward AGW, something that's becoming a real crisis. Well, I haven't seen a shred of evidence there's anything criminal going on. Whatever liberal bias exists can be chalked up to the same bias you find throughout the MSM - the fact most if not all journalists are generally liberal in outlook because they simply grew up that way. It just is what it is. Get over it already or become a journalist yourself. My misguided beliefs? LMAO!
  12. I'm saying that whatever you're imagining happened didn't rise to the standards of Canadian laws. Not even close. Well, you'll just have to get involved at a level of government that gives you the opportunity to make it a crime and go after the criminals.
  13. Speaking for myself, the carbon tax still remains the most effective, least expensive and fair measure to date. It's been a good idea since day one. The CBC doesn't have a tune they just report the latest hits. As for Carney and the LPOC the courage of their convictions were trumped by political necessity, expedience and opportunity. There's nothing that isn't obvious or transparent about their pivot here. Why on Earth would you think otherwise? Ii it because you fell so easily for 9/11 nonsense that you believe everyone is as gullible as you were?
  14. You're not just talking about liars. You're convinced they're criminals breaking the law. You need evidence to prosecute criminals. Liars are a dime a doz. You might as well go on a crusade to eliminate woke, dig up the Deepstate or get to the bottom of 9/11. Why did you give that up BTW?
  15. How do you personally hold it to account precisely, what steps or measures do you take? Anything like volunteering on local government boards or committees, APC's Harbour Advisories/Authorities etc? Or do you figure they're the ones that need to be held to account? When you get involved at that level you discover most people actually get involved for just that very reason - to keep an eye on things from the inside. Maybe even getting a chance to change something if that's your gig.
  16. Vance is an appalling human being - the ugliest American alive. I can only imagine the despair this innocent man and his family are feeling after Vance's dismissal of concern for him. Vice President JD Vance responded to comments asking him about the Trump administration admitting to sending a Salvadoran man with protected legal status to the megaprison in El Salvador by mistake. "It’s gross to get fired up about gang members getting deported while ignoring citizens they victimize," Vance wrote on X in response to a question about the error from "Pod Save America" host Jon Favreau. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/vance-doubles-down-after-trump-admin-admits-error-sending-man-salvadoran-prison
  17. LMAO! I've been saying no truck nor trade with China for decades. My reasons for that haven't changed - human rights. And I haven't voted for a Liberal in over 50 years. Yer a loony simpleton.
  18. You got it in just 11 seconds? Are you aiming to set some sort of new record?
  19. Sure but the level of command at which this stupidity happened is not down where Pvts come into the loop. You also seem to have a real issue with the journalist that was invited into the loop. What if it had been another talk show host from Fox?
  20. At around 28 million voters and let's be generous and say over 40% are Conservatives and I figure about a third of that are Maple MAGA means roughly 4 million Randy Whites, give or take a hundred thousand or so.
  21. I have no idea, and it has nothing to do with the fact as I said Poilievre needs to attract votes, from wherever he can, including people his supporters slag at every opportunity. Who's side are you people on again?
  22. With no doubt, no disbelief, no concern about the competence of the national security you place your trust in? That's very very difficult to believe.
  23. Sure. How would you be reacting to this if it was a Democrat National Security team and there were doubts about OpSec being intact?
