  1. So what when he's got tariffs on everyone and everything in sight? Uh huh, what's that got to do with anything? Whatever floats your boat I guess.
  2. The Big Boards pretty busy these days? Or I could just say I was lying.
  3. Hmmm. A highlight, copy and a paste of Gray's Bay mine says... The project is led by West Kitikmeot Resources Corp. an Inuit-owned company. The Grays Bay Road and Port (GBRP) is a major infrastructure project in the Kitikmeot region of Nunavut, Canada. While not a single "mine" itself, it is designed to unlock access to several world-class critical mineral deposits in the Slave Geological Province. I never found anything that mentioned China getting all the cheddar.
  4. Best line of the day on CBC Power Panel...the Liberal big tent is big enough you could drive a truckers convoy thru it. Jordan Liechnitz NDP strategist Maybe it's all a plot...hide sleeper agents in plain sight and cross back over against the Liberals during a confidence vote. What, to cynical?
  5. Laugh at Trump as he tries to convince an increasingly angry and broke US electorate that the tariffs are actually making them richer. And we should certainly look at export controls to rub the cost of Trump's trade war even harder in America's nose. Semper fi
  6. They irony is that American manufactures got tired of paying the wages American workers expected.
  7. Marine fish resources really are Ottawa's - they're not like minerals, oil or forests at all and never have been. You'd certainly think so, the best chance to make the most of Alberta's oil was decades ago. Trying to cash in a day late and a bunch of pipelines and refineries short is so Canadian. We should be going all in on alternatives.
  8. Get in line I guess...in our case they just outright eliminated it. We said we'd be happy to take over responsibility for managing it ourselves but... Oh well the water under that bridge may have carried that dead canary out of sight but not the reason it died. I'm convinced it's the way our Confederation and governing system were cobbled together. It's unsustainable. There's just too many inconsistencies and issues that have piled up. All it seems we can do is drive until something breaks or wears out and we cobble it back together again. We'll likelier run out of road before we ever learn to get it off the ground.
  9. The federal government built them a pipeline and is expanding its capacity. Arguing Ottawa was mismanaging BCs salmon, causing bankruptcy and economic collapse never compelled Ottawa to sink billions into BCs salmon. But of course it was never BCs salmon it was always Canada's. I definitely get Albertans sense they're better positioned to manage their resources than Ottawa but it's ironic how dependent they are on Ottawa to help develop them and how much the ghost of nationalizing oil seems to be hovering over the Transmountain deal. Not on your own. You'll always be dependent on someone, in this case America. Good luck with that.
  10. You seem to think there's some hidden mystery to all this. It's just another flare up in a forever war AFAIC. I was only mocking the pretext for this one. In any case we haven't seen anything yet and I have no doubt it'll go nuclear sooner or later, and I doubt that'll be the worst of it.
  11. Yup. And the whole world is increasingly meh too. If it's seen one super-rogue it's seen them all.
  12. He's unstoppable. Oh well, you sound happy in any case. It'll always be a lot easier to criticize Carney than it is to defend Poilievre. Keep up the good work.
  13. So is the Great Satan Uncle Sam or is it just the Republican Party?
  14. Everyone was told they bombed the nuclear program out of existence last year. Now it's back to being an imminent threat? 🤔
  15. Like the Sturgeon Lake Creek First Nation said, a province could do it with the most powerful nation on the planet to help enforce it.
  16. It's like America, fùck yeah! and Mission Accomplished all in one! Hey, don't forget to give a shout out to an even more stupefied fan base. He couldn't have done it without them.
  17. Yup Out of some 650 thousand cars per day in the Toronto / Montreal corridors over 580 thousand of them are carrying only a single occupant. It's going to cost $90 + who knows how many more billions for the benefit of 10 - 12% of that. It's nuts.
  18. See, you can't change your tune either. Typical cantservatism.
