  1. The green revolution will result in the complete destruction of the planet...there will be a new asteroid belt around the sun following Earth's old orbit? Catastrophize much?
  2. Hah, he'd probably chase me out of his office and tell me to never come back. He'd need the counselling.
  3. No I mean do unto others yadda yadda. God was cranky old mean spirited arshole compared to Jesus. I bet Jesus even wore bell bottom pants.
  4. Go find and post a scientific investigation that quantifies all the things you just listed. Especially one that shows When these groups are doing research looking for some grand conspiracy they frame their definition of conspiracy in such a way that they find nothing that matches. I'll even give you the benefit of doubt that your evidence of a grand media conspiracy didn't stoop to that. I guess that explains why MTG's Jewish space lasers are real, Danielle Smith's concerns about UFO's are valid and Karoline Leavitt is correct to say we pay a tax when Trump siccs a tariff on us. LMAO!
  5. Like it hurt PP? Have you read any polls lately? LMAO! I suppose, Carney OTOH might feel that being PM will put him in the best position to protect his interests. Trump is exposed in Canada too.
  6. Jesus was a progressive, but of course he was a humanist so go figure.
  7. It should be the broker between these two that's at issue in the context of trust. Trump...seriously?
  8. This is happening in the USA and all over the planet too. It's bad but not that bad...yet According to Google's AI overview... Canadian food bank usage reached a record high with more than 2 million visits in 2023 U.S. food banks were used over 50 million times in 2023. America is even more vulnerable and that's why Trump wants to raid us. The water hole is getting smaller and the animals are getting meaner.
  9. Look around this forum. Which one's? And what about the near universal narrative you apparently subscribe to that anyone who isn't a conservative is a Marxist commie globalist? It's PP's supporters that tie him to Trump. Sure there's lots of back peddling these days but not enough to make an appreciable dent in his hard core base. PP hasn't distanced himself enough from the Freaker's Ball going on under the Big Conservative Tent and he's going to have to pander to it lest it keep moving in search of something more right wing. It used to be more right wing Conservative parties only had to worry about the odd Randy White from beaking off about something stupid. It's ten times as bad now. A good third of his supporters are anti-vaxxers, people who subscribe to COVID authoritarianism and MSM paranoia conspiracies and of course MAGA.
  10. Except Canadians are uniting in a shift away from a right wing brand that Trump personifies - Canadians are also wary of how it's spreading around the world and that's also causing our natural governing ideology to reassert itself.
  11. There is no liberal media bias in which news stories political journalists choose to cover Abstract...we show definitively that the media exhibits no bias against conservatives (or liberals for that matter) in what news that they choose to cover. This shows that journalists’ individual ideological leanings have unexpectedly little effect on the vitally important, but, up to this point, unexplored, early stage of political news generation. https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/sciadv.aay9344 While it's a fact most journalists are liberal in outlook this is only because most people that become journalists lean left naturally, even journalists that work for right-leaning media outlets. There is little if anything to suggest journalists, media outlets and especially governments are conspiring to slant the news. There's no doubt that public levels of trust in the media are in the toilet but IMO this mistrust in the nedia is misplaced because it's preceded and fertilized by a very well grounded mistrust in governments. Shooting the messengers that are trying to freely investigate and report on what governments and politicians are up to only puts us in danger of more mistrust, disinformation and danger.
  12. I'm not so sure the people surrounding Trump would stick their necks out by suggesting Putin is smarter than him. Putin likewise is surrounded by lickspittles that are used to just telling him what he wants to hear. This detachment from what's actually happening in the world is what makes autocrats so dangerous and unpredictable. In both cases the populations they rule are the only things that will ever penetrate the wall these men have constructed around themselves. In both cases they will likely also have to push through lines of police and security forces to be heard. U.S. could lose democracy status, says global watchdog It's not just the scope of what Trump's done that has Lindberg envisioning the once-unthinkable: removing the U.S. from the democratic list and shifting it to the second-lowest tier among five, to a so-called electoral autocracy. It's also the speed. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbc.ca/amp/1.7486317
  13. Liar, you said I was a Liberal. No it's what I do all the time or you'd never be able to distrust me.
  14. Oh for sure, I mean anyone could see the relationship between Trump and Trudeau was a classic bromance. LMAO! Carney could think circles around Trump and outwit his cabinet of lickspittles in his sleep and they all know it. If they tried to pull a Zelenskyy on him l suspect he'd just walk out and tell them to get back to us when they're serious.
  15. The same places you do. What sentence? That's a snippet you copy/pasted and ignored the rest - that's what's wrong with you everyday. Address the rest of it and especially in the context of the sentence that followed it or get lost.
  16. Compared to a fentanyl czar? I have no idea. I assume you're talking about a musical production here. If the producers expect a ROI thru ticket sales and have a history of success and if all the other terms are met why not? If its a grant I haven't got a clue. Its the governments money not mine and I've been given to understand what it does with it is none of our business. Do you believe that? I don't but it is what it is. You probably need to ask different more fundamental questions about general accountability and transparency.
  17. Don't take my world for it, you said it best yourself...climate change is a joke You're reporting hearing a lot of screaming today, have you developed a case of tinnitus? The carbon tax is dead for sure but carbon pricing hasn't gone away. Neither has AGW. PP has to make up his mind too. If AGW is buillshit then why does he have to dangle the prospect of tax credits to fossil fuel companies? The country will still have costs to bear so why should taxpayers have to pick up the slack these credits leave in the country's finances? Why are you so willing to vote for a virtue signalling for an apparent liar who's only pretending he cares about AGW? BTW has anyone heard if either PP or Carney have ruled out subsidies to fossil fuel companies?
  18. What a lucky break, just when we happen to have a banker and economist who wants to run the country. You've been busy praying haven't you? Good job!
  19. So what? It's like climate change, things crash all the time. We'll just adapt.
  20. Good, there's still lots of room for more debt and suckers are born every minute. If they won't lend it we'll just tax it. Lying is all you understand, I'm just trying to be helpful here.
  21. Well, show me the timeline you subscribe to so you can set me straight.
  22. Cite? You have the court transcripts of the proceedings? That's your tail not a sloth. Go get em' then. Only for the ones that have been convicted. Cite. Cite.
