  1. Just thought I would post the latest interview with Dr. Paul on Leno last night: Part 1 Part 2
  2. Kimmy, I have linked the msds for you to read - I guess you are NOT a student of any kind of science course are you? MSDS Sodium Flouride DANGER! MAY BE FATAL IF SWALLOWED OR INHALED. AFFECTS RESPIRATORY SYSTEM, HEART, SKELETON, CIRCULATORY SYSTEM, CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM AND KIDNEYS. CAUSES IRRITATION TO SKIN, EYES AND RESPIRATORY TRACT. IRRITATION EFFECTS MAY BE DELAYED. You really might want to look up some more information wrt flouride. It is a very nasty substance when introduced to the human body. You say that it occurs naturally - guess what kimmy - lots of natural stuff can KILL you too!!
  3. The surge is working just fine - very well in fact. Just NOT for the Iraqi people or the US taxpayers!! The MIC is very happy though!! Chaaaaching!!$$!!
  4. Michael, repeating lies over and over doesn't make them true!! Heck even the New York Times had to recant their article wrt the 'White Supremacists' lies!! So... is that the best you can do to smear this honourable man? So what that some person who holds some rather distasteful ideals donated some money to his campaign? I'm sure there are lots of individuals who hold equally vile views who have donated to others, heck I imagine some of the more frothing rednecks on this board have donated money to even more 'mainstream' candidates!! For instance - who has the JTF donated money to?? Hmmmm - these dudes were calling for the assassination of not only Paul - but his supporters as well!! How nice! I'd also like to mention that there is alot of controversy surrounding 'Stormfront' itself - many believe it is simply an 'agent provocatuer', invented so to say to sew derision and divide. Sort of like how the majority of 'Heritage Front' members were undercover agents (all the 'top' brass anyway!). Can't instill fear if there is no boogeyman can you? So, get right on inventing one!! Pathetic attempt at smearing one of the only honest candidates in either party. As I said before - read what the man has actually said - listen to HIS words - not those of the corporate lackeys who are only interested in keeping the status quo of FEAR FEAR FEAR mongering!! I have been reading Paul's snippets for almost seven years now - long before any aspirations of running for the presidency. While not always agreeing in principle with some of his views, he has always been consistent, a straight talker and has never stooped to the mindless insults so common amongst his current rivals. I really think you need to start thinking for yourself and not listening to the gatekeepers at places like Fox[who has been caught censoring AP items wrt Paul - which is illegal) and Daily Kos (gag). Just for fun, here is a pretty good article from Haaretz wrt Paul and his stance on aid to Israel: Ron Paul to Haaretz: Israel can get by without American aid
  5. Rue, as usual you entirely miss the point, twist what I said and pile a load of junk onto these pages which need not be there. I'll make it simple for ya Rue: Why the laws for specifically 'denial' (definition please) of the 'Holocaust'? I think, what bothers some is the overwhelming focus on the terrible fate of Jews under the Hitler regime, often left out are others - despite what YOU have to say. Now and again an article will include that the progroms included 'others' and name a few - like the Roma and Homosexuals - but usually it's only the one group. Yet, within history many other groups have been genocided in equally awful ways - yet this one event - this one - has certain laws protecting it from further investigations. I find that odd. To be quite forthright - I would really love to know exactly why my family members were sent to concentration camps, I would like to know what became of them while there - how did they die there? Was it disease? Or were they deliberately murdered? If they were - why? Were they part of the resistance? Were they communists? Sadly - I will never know. Just for accuracy sake - my ancestors who perished were a mix of Jews and Catholics and a few athiests thrown in as well. All family, all gone. So, read a little further, look beyond your obivious bias and start to ask some questions. I recommend Finkelstein's Holocaust Industry for starters to see how the deliberate and tragic deaths of millions has been exploited beyond belief. This book also addresses the mishandling of reparations to those who really do deserve some kind of compsensation - sadly though the 'righteous lawyeriars' are raking in a tonne.
  6. Well said Margrace. I think education has had alot to do with this - hence we are now seeing a dumbing down of the education system - lowering the bar, passing kids who should be passed and graduating alot of children who cannot think critically about anything - good little automotons!! Better workers - who question nothing. My son is in high school and is very bright, he is actively discouraged from asking questions. Now, how is that education??? The elites use the age old ''divide and conquer" technique - and why not? It's been working since time immemorial. And there will always be sheep who will bleat and bleat against the black one who suspects the far building on the farm is not the way to sheep freedom - but really a slaughterhouse. I think some folks on here need to re-read their Orwell.
  7. There is but ONE race - the Human Race. All other differences are made up to allow subjugation of one group by another. Even if we had all the same skin colour humans would find something else to be bigotted against. IMO we are ALL brothers and sisters, we are all ONE family - period.
  8. Disspointed? Only in so much that I think that discussion of the events leading up to and surrounding the Holocaust shouldn't be illegal to discuss - ie truth needs no laws to support it. There are no equivalent laws wrt any other genocide anywhere. There are no laws even disallowing the discussion of whether Christ was actually the son of God, or taking it further whether he even existed! Yet - ask a question about the Holocaust and go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect 200$. Part of the reason it has become difficult to discuss is due to the very laws enacted which make it a crime to discuss. I lived in Germany for many years, before these laws were enacted Rue. It wasn't an issue - ie real denial that any Jews were targetted. (Which from what I understand is not the main view of revisionists anyway. I don't think there is any argument that certain groups were persecuted - communists, Roma, Gays, Catholics and of course Jews. This is pretty clear). What isn't clear is exactly how many (of all groups - not just those of Jewish ethnic origins) were actually murdered in the ways described. IOW it may not have occured quite the way that Hollywood has protrayed it over the last decades. I also find it rather crass that virtually never are the other victims even spoken about - it's all about the Jews. What of the others? Were any reparations made to them? Are they even mantioned, acknowledged and mourned with equal fervour? Sadly, no. Add to that the Soviet death tolls that make Hitler's folly look mild by comparison - yet again nary a word. I guess some genocides are more 'special' than others eh Rue? (Now before your head explodes, let me state that my own family tree was well represented in the Auschwitz records - having lost a good number of my own extended family to the concentration camps and the effects of WW2.) As far as those third generation Germans who are not aware - horsehooey!! They are all quite aware of what a certain leader of their country did 70 odd years ago - and in many ways - even though they weren't even born then - are still paying for it. Nonsense. The Jewish community in Germany is doing quite well thanks, in fact immigration to Germany by Jews has been rising over the last years - yep lots of Israeli Jews are reclaiming their German citizenship and leaving - for living in Germany for them is preferrable to living in Israel. (I also have friends who have done this - made aliyah then woke up and went back!!!). Also, this isn't about 'hate' speech - there are laws already for incitement to violence - a far cry from asking pertinent questions about the start of the cleansing and genocide. Rue, as the story goes - once there were 'gas chambers' all over, then when it was unconfirmable in the lands of Germany, the camps which were the 'death' camps were all on outside territory - esp Poland. Even the numbers at Auschwitz have been reduced from 4 million down to just over a million (Jews and non-Jews alike). To even mention this is a crime - why??? It begs the question - why??? Does asking these questions diminish the horror of the Holocaust? Of course not! How can it? Does it suddenly turn Hitler et al into good guys? Of course not! Don't be silly. So, I would wager given your full support of these anti-speech and anti-thought laws that you wouldn't have a problem with banning any kind of research into the genocide of North American Natives eh? Since it might offend them in some way? How about a nice law banning the denial of the existance of Christ? That's a good one! Hey - lets make a good little law which will stop all research into the Ukranian Holodomar while we're at it. See where this is going? (Of course a good little law criminalising any research into the historical accuracy of the Crusades might also be on the agenda!!). Do you see a problem here?? *If* they are inciting hatred then charge them with that - fine. However - simply denying that something happened the way it is presented is, IMO not inciting hatred, but simply asking a rather tasteless question. There is also a problem with defense - since these laws prohibit the discussion of the events and proof of conspiracy to liquidate a population, the defence council cannot present evidence. This is flawed - while the intention may be sound - the result will no doubltedly cause a backlash - which it is already doing.
  9. Wow, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that there are so many posters here who support the use of physical torture. Pretty sad, IMO. There are other ways to interrogate people. However, I guess it's just par for the course around here. And heck, even Foxman isn't against it - as he said - it worked so well for the Nazis!! Not to mention how well it worked confirming the guilt of witches and warlocks during the inquisition!! Ah yes - brutal torture of other humans is such a necessary thing!! tsk tsk.
  10. Very interesting article margrace - lots of players involved here. I guess this could confirm that they (Monsanto) are getting ready to release the 'terminator' technology. This 'bank' would save their hides when viable, naturally produced seeds go the way of the dinosaur). Bad news certainly - for the human race - great news for the elites who wish to cleanse the earth of the virus called mankind.
  11. Michael, he wants to dismantle the foriegn policy of the last decades which has seem America become the most interventionist of all states of the planet. He no longer wishes the US to be the world's police force. That in itself would save any losses incurred by scrapping the federal income tax. I really think you need to visit his site and read what the man has to say - as oppossed to reading what his detractors say he said - as it is two different things. Funny though, the anti-Paul crowd is sure a mix of odd bedfellows!! You have the extreme right neocons now laying with the extreme left marxists!! (That in itself is pretty good proof that Dr. Paul has hit a nerve with the status quo). Surely, I don't agree with all of his points - but certainly more than I would agree with any of the other Republican nominees. Forget about the Dems - it's the same old network operating there. The idea of Hillary becoming president scares the bejeebus out of me (she is one nasty piece of work - to the point where I would almost prefer Bush over her! )
  12. Best post so far! Thanks moderateamerican! Still - the question of who benefits from this tragedy remains to be answered. Who told the bodyguards to stand down? Why the conflicting statements wrt what actually killed her? Bullet or sunroof? Why the superquick burial - no autopsy? I found it odd that all mainstream media had their obits and life history pieces all set and ready to go. I also find it odd that right after John Negroponte's visit (you know Mr. Deathsquads) this occured. (Not much different that the explosion of sectarian violence erupting in Iraq shortly after Mr. Killersquad's visit there). Lots of questions still! (Oh and did anyone hear of Ms. Bhutto plainly mentioning the fact the bin Laden is dead? ) All very odd.
  13. Well, it seems the Flying Spagetti Monster's noodly appendage has struck in Florida! The Ledger The group has sent dozens of e-mails to Polk County School Board members demanding that the idea of a Flying Spaghetti Monster creating the world receive classroom equal time with other views. The e-mail campaign began after four of seven board members said in November that they supported teaching intelligent design in addition to evolution. snip In an e-mail, Henderson said he can't explain the idea for the FSM. "I tell people it was combination of lack of sleep and divine intervention," Henderson said. "But the church has evolved into what it is today." Henderson said he put out the open letter in 2005 to the Kansas School Board as a joke and it "snowballed from there." Now, Henderson said there are more than a million Google results for Flying Spaghetti Monster. "No telling where we will be in 10 years, 100 years, 1,000 years," Henderson wrote. "I heard Christianity started as a joke, too ... so who knows?" **** Hee hee hee!!
  14. Kengs, questioning anything wrt The Holocaust in Germany will win you 5 years in prison.
  15. No, the 'skinhead movement' was born in the working class barrows of late 50's and early 60's England. From what I gather it was a darker offshoot of the 'Mod' movements. Here is a little history: LINK
  16. There's currently some interesting alignments too DOP! Astronomy is beautiful - hopefully reminding us all to be more humble wrt our presence in this vast universe! Merry Christmas DOP, and interesting stuff you posted.
  17. Congratulations! White Doors for the first snippety post on this thread! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours - when ever you choose to celebrate the Winter Solstice and the change in Calender!
  18. Welcome to the forums and Merry Christmas to you too! And a Happy New Year! (At least there's one greeting that no one can malign?! )
  19. So, hence either teach it all - in a historically true sense or nothing. Public encompasses all - I don't have a problem with that - in a way it can help to discard the false divisions set up between everyone. No, they don't but this time of year holds significance far beyond Christ - the Winter Solstice practices predate all current belief systems - so why not treat it as a really interesting history lesson? edited to add: Merry Christmas Drea!
  20. Welcome to the forum iForgot! I think far too many neglect to blame the state. We have allowed this festering monster to flourish, we have fed it dutifully, now it robs us of our common sense and our community spirits, and we have allowed our own responsibility to our fellow man to be taken over by our nanny - to our own detriment. We have created a governess which will eventually govern over US, and that is not what liberty and free will is all about. We have become the sheep, followers, grazers and irresponsible.
  21. While I am not affiliated in any way whatsoever to any organised 'religion' all these efforts to water down Christmas and it's significance bothers me. It creates division. Why not allow the celebration of ALL at this time of year. School pageants can have Christmas songs, and Eid skits and Hannuka sonnets! Do it all - include the Grinch and Frosty too?! The reindeer and magic mushroons, include the Pagan origin of the whole time - for all of the current 'monotheistic' power grabbers. Make it fun for the children, by sharing the whole thing - or else DO nothing. This 'one or the other' and censoring songs is for the birds. When will folk grow up?
  22. What exactly is this that Dr. Paul says that is 'too late'? Really your rhetorical cheap shot posts are getting tiresome BC. You cannot compare Perot to Paul - again it's an apples vs cucumber analysis. Perot was heavily financed by corporate and business interests, as well as having his own fortune (perhaps a Romney - Perot comparison is better ; while Dr. Paul has now made history with the most donations in one 24 hour period! All by regular folks, REAL grassroots support. Why does this threaten you? Why does it bother you? Are you afriad that if Dr. Paul is actually elected the teat of the Fed will be shut down and perhaps your reason d'etre ceases to exist? Oh and edited to add: Is it 100 years or 230?? Are you now so flustered that you are flip flopping??? Bah!!
  23. AA is a double edged sword. While it has allowed many, who would not have had the opportunity, to perhaps advance in thier careers, it has also cheapened recruiting processes and in some cases led to those not qualified (outside of skin colour) to hold ranks they are ill equipped and simply not qualified for. This is where the 'resentment' comes in, I think. A solution might be to conduct all interviews of a potential employee 'blind', perhaps by a number with no face to face interaction. This way the candidate is judged purely on their merit. Of course - this would be unworkable, I know that - but it's about the only way one can ensure 'total' equality when hiring. I think it comes down to the inability of government to legislate human behaviour (God knows they try). It won't work and it's consequences can often be more disasterous then if the problem had been left to solve itself through ordinary means (changing attitudes, market forces, etc). * Moxie - I share your frustration, but don't want to punish all members of a percieved minority for what the nanny state is doing. In effect, the nanny state is creating further divisions between peoples of various backgrounds, thus ensuring we never all get together and realize it's 'them' who are the big problem and threaten our (the peoples) prosperity. Divide and conquer - old as time.
  24. For those interested here are some great interviews with Dr. Paul. As I have stated time and again - it's always better to listen to the actual words - straight from the horse's mouth - than to base opinions on someone's else's. Dr. Paul on Meet the Press 23/12/07 The above links take you to the first parts on both interviews, follow the appropriate links on you tube to view the rest.
  25. I don't think that the 'internet' is to blame - I think you are taking a shoot the messenger stance. Also, with the rise of radio and television there were those who controlled the messages sent - iow, vested interests! The internet - thank goodness does NOT work that way - hence you are comparing apples and oranges? Or sour grapes and cheese?? Have you even listened to or read anything that Dr. Paul actually has to say? His own words, not the 'opinion' piece of someone who may have vested interests in opposing some of the ideals which Dr. Paul has put forth? Dr. Paul is not just popular because the system needs changing Michael, but because he is the only candidate that is speaking some hard truths about the dire situation which America finds herself in - much to the woe and chagrin of many Americans. I think your analogy is flawed and you have put the cart before the horse - it is not due to the 'internet' that Paul is gaining grounds - it is due to the supporters and patriots, Americans sick and tired of the BS out of Washington using the available means to communicate with others of like mind - Democrat and Republican alike - that there is an alternaitive to the current corporatist/globalist cabal which has infiltrated every level of the Federal government within the US. To quote Dr. Paul - turning the Administration of the US into a 'soft form of fascism', where corporate interests control the strings of government.
