Yeah Muslim governments are the great humanitarians. LOL you're so naive. No Muslims attacked any Jews right?. The 1- sided narratives you shovel are a joke. Muslim leaders took away their homeland, Jews moved to Europe, Europe were exterminating them, so they took half of their homeland back. Good for them.

I'm talking about leftwing policies. Trudeau had many of them. Parties like the NDP and Greens would have taken them even further if in power. I have no issue with some reasonable left-of-center economic or environmental policies, but socially the left are out to lunch and Trudeau and his gang were card-carrying members. Thankfully Carney is a bit more moderate there and isn't busy trying to divide everyone. Hopefully he doesn't bankrupt the country. -

The left in Canada need to be stopped. They're too weak and naive about pretty much everything. I was never a Harper cheerleader but he looks like FDR at this point. PP is no Harper unfortunately. There's too many dumb moronic conservatives out there too. We need reasonable moderates with some balls and ethics. People who aren't afraid to offend people in speaking the truth, but not being ignorant either. -
Zionist leadership signed up to follow international law, then the Arab leaders showed they clearly weren't interested and just attacked Israel. How has that gone for them? Now Israel is playing their game. I don't agree with it, but only the truly innocent have a right to complain about it, and they have other Palestinians to blame for it as much or more as Israel. No I think murdering and kidnapping civilians is disgusting and evil. If Gazans just attacked military targets that would be legit resistance. Only cowards and a-holes specifically target innocent civilians.

A lot of conservatives are as dumb as nails. But it's been the left that's eroded this country, it's economy and it's financial books, it's national pride. We need reasonable moderates to make reasonable policies again and have the balls to defend them. This country has become so soft, and the ones with any balls are ignorant knuckledraggers. There's no federal political party that isn't an absolute joke right now. -

I guess that's what happens when you throw any sense of national pride out the window as a dirty word and pander to every minority group...or at least the ones that vote for you. -
You better read up on your history. And lefties are the ones calling Oct 7 "legitimate resistance". Peace and love and international law!

Let's make a deal with Trump where any Albertan can leave for the US and gain US citizenship in return for moving away and revoking their Canadian citizenship. I'll help put the furniture in the moving van for anyone who wants to take that deal. -
Yeah you just won't shut up about it! lol. The conflict started when the Muslim Empire invaded and conquered that land. You seem to think the conflict started in the last 100-150 years with the "geopolitical catastrophe". What about the "acknowledgement" that Muslims stole the land largely from the Jews and Christians there? You think reconciliation is possible when one side won't give an inch of that land and ancient buildings etc back? No power-sharing and no compromising wanted, just 100% domination. Do you think Jerusalem was built by Muslim Arabs? Lol yeah it's all my fault. Yet you support appeasing terrorists and their supporters. Your thinking is "the violence will only stop when we give the terrorists everything they want (return of all land to Muslim control). Do you understand how weak and pathetic that is? Chamberlain is blushing. There's a reason people like he and Jimmy Carter aren't very good at foreign policy, the opposite reason people like Trump and Bush are bad at it.

So is using human shields and targeting civilians. But the left only talks about war crimes and human rights violations by Israel. Making Gazans out to only be these victims of Israel is a joke. They're largely a victim of the government they elected. They reap what they sow and all of them are paying the price. If Gazans want peace and freedom they need to go after the real enemy which is Hamas and all the blood- thirsty maniacs and religious nutters who support them.

Traitor. Trump and future GOP goons would eat you guys alive and we're not going to help you. First Nations are going to be a nightmare for you. "Independence"? Lol good luck with that. Your province is controlled by rich oil corporations and foreign interests as it is... Fortunately Alberta is dominated by actual Canadians so you're not going to win any referendum. -
Mark Carney as majority PM
Moonlight Graham replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
If the CPC floor crossers didn't like PP then why did they support him during the election? Nothing changed. Why did they support PO for years prior when PP was leader? They switched to the Liberals so they could have more power. It's sad that you think these MPs are ethical and did it for their country or their constituents Their priority is their own power. Just like all the Liberal MPs who supported Trudeau over JWR during that fiasco and voted to kick her to the curb for standing up for democracy. You sure are naive. -
Israel gave Gaza back to Palestinians, who then immediately elected a terrorist group to run their government (Hamas). Hamas has been launching attacks at Israel ever since because they want to re-conquer every inch of Israel. If Hamas and Gazans don't like blockades and checkpoints then don't import weapons and strap bombs to your chest meant to be launched at Jewish civilians. Muslims have been slaughtering Jews, disposessing their lands via military force, and building mosques on top of their synagogues and other holy end ancestral sites since the dawn of Islam. You don't seem concerned about how Jews have been "kicked around" by Muslim Palestinians for 1400 years. Jews want to live in peace in their ancestral and holy lands. They've tried sharing, but Muslims have said time and again that they aren't interested. Muslims want total domination of the middle east including Israel. Muslim governments do not abide by international law and then they and their supporters complain when Israel doesn't. Palestinians reap what they sow, and should be very grateful Israel doesn't behave like Muslim governments do including Hanas because if they did Israel would annihilate Palestinians and take every inch of Gaza and the WB in a heartbeat.

It shouldn't matter your political leanings, this is a sad day for democracy in Canada. This majority is not the will of the people, it was stolen. -
Are we in a "holy war"?
Moonlight Graham replied to Hodad's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
The Iran attacks for regime change have similar goals as the regime change Obama and NATO did with Gadaffi in Libya. They both tried to take advantage for civilian mass protest uprisings to get rid of a terrorist-supporting regime that was aggressively against US/NATO interests -
Are we in a "holy war"?
Moonlight Graham replied to Hodad's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Sounds like the US government is now speaking the same language that their enemies in the middle east have been speaking since literally Mohamnad. All a bunch of religious nutters really. -
How could any regime in Iran hate the US more than the current one? A lesson for Iran and any other country in the world is that if they want to undermine the security interests including vital security interests of the world's biggest superpower for many decades while allying with their biggest enemies then that superpower may take action. It's been a suicide mission for most in the middle east. The government of Iran is the enemy of US and Canada and it's own people. I hope the regime falls.
-
The US has been waiting for this opportunity to topple this regime for decades. There have been mass protests in Iran and the Iranian people wanted the regime out. The US government are not humanitarians here, they are using this opportunity to weaken the regime with airstrikes and hoping the Iranian people will finish the job on the ground so the US can avoid putting their own boots on the ground. They don't want a quagmire on the ground like Iraq, Afghanistan, or even Libya. Russia has weakened itself in its war in Ukraine, which led to weakened Russian military and financial support in Syria and a chance for rebels to topple Assad. Now the same is happening in Iran. Very big foreign policy wins for the US and its allies over the last couple of years and few if any adversaries in the middle east remaining who can jeopardize western oil security.

What The Liberals Did To Canada
Moonlight Graham replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Imagine being a voter who kept Trudeau in power for 10 years or voted NDP thinking they were more virtuous. The country is filled with wet noodles. And I'm not letting the prairies off the hook. They have enough climate change-denying knuckle-dragger types to cause a whole other set of problems. On conclusion, people aren't very smart or wise. -
Are Alberta Separatists Committing Treason?
Moonlight Graham replied to TreeBeard's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
And about the separatists putting their own interests over the country? And wanting to break it up? Do you have the same distain for them? They're the worst scum of them all. And if they ever get violent it's a war well worth Canadians fighting against. -
The constitution doesn't mention a lot of things, like the Prime Minister. People vote for individual MPs based on the party they belong to. If these floor-crossers went into last election with "Liberal" next to their name on the ballot they almost certainly wouldn't have won. That's why this is undemocratic. The will of the people is being sidestepped and if you think it's ok to grab a majority this way you're an undemocratic POS.
