It's racist to point out that non natives died from terrible diseases as well? How so?

I see so having good looks, being a grade school drama teacher, having a famous PM daddy means he can run a country. Ok I got it now, thank you for explaining it to me. I still wonder why Trudeau hasn't made his positions on issues clear yet. What is he waiting for? Why is he so afraid of debate? Even within his own party.

So we won't have any capsized boats there either. Even more reason to shut it down. -
I don't think so. The government can come onto your property anytime it wishes to to drill for oil or set up a mine or build a sidewalk or widen a road and their's nothing you can do about it. What property rights do we have in Canada if we cannot stop trespassers from entering ones own property? I'm only stating my opinion here, I'm sorry if I upset you Michael.

PM Harper was involved in politics since he was in high school plus he was the head of the NCC. He spearheaded the move to merge to two conservative parties as well. Compared to Trudeau he's done a lot. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Mr. Trudeau will get elected. We, as Canadians, are just that stupid to do that to let that happen. I want to know what his positions are on various issues because so far he doesn't seem to have any positions or made them public yet. Why not?

And a sum of money is going to make it all better? I wasn't alive in 1907 so I don't see why I need to pay for this. I didn't do it. The FN people are perpetual victims, it's now in the way they are brought up as kids. They are taught by their parents that they are victims. It's sad that their parents aren't giving them a chance to succeed in life before they even start.

That's why buying property in this country is a silly if not stupid thing to do. You have zero property rights here in Canada. The government or any company can do whatever it wants on your property and you cannot stop them. If you do try to stop them you'll be arrested. it's backwards but that's our Canada. That's what they don't tell you at the mortgage office.

Vancouver Coast Guard station closes

There is another station a few miles away so it's completely prudent to take this measure. Two rescue stations nearly side by side is a waste of money. Good on the government to help save some of our money! -
Canadian Economy under the Cons going downhill.
Peanutbutter replied to kairos's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Pm Harper is a smart man, he's an economist!, and I'm sure he will figure out a way to further Canada's interests and bolster our economy even further. He's done incredibly well so far and I can only see him continuing his course of steady growth. -
So having two degrees and teaching drama to kids for a couple years means have the experience to run a country?

Your own quote shows the prisoner had no injuries other than those suffered during resuscitation. Sounds like the Israeli's did everything in their power to help this young man. Seems like a case of the anti Jewish side trying to find problems where none exist. I think the anti Jewish side would love nothing more than all out war against Israel and it seems like that's what they are try to provoke. Let's not forget that it was Hamas led Palestine that attacked Israel not very long ago.

Absolutely Boges. It's normal for the losing party of a lawsuit to have to pay for the others expenses, it happen s regularly so this is nothing new. Ruby and Madger tried to seek vengeance on Mayor Ford, who had to pay for his own defense out of his own pocket, and they lost so it's time for them to pony up the dough. Mayor Ford is well within this rights to pursue legal costs and I'm sure he'll be awarded at least a portion of them.

Living in peace is the answer for everyone, everywhere. There is too much stress, tension and hatred going around that sometimes it's hard to breath properly without gasping for air. Our differences are what makes up the social fabric of Canada and sometimes it's messy, granted, but that's not a reason to stop living side by side. Through dialogue we can find the path that will lead us to true happiness. -
Isreal rejects the Nazi car - (can't make this stuff up)
Peanutbutter replied to GostHacked's topic in The Rest of the World
I think that the Israelite's have every right to be sensitive about the SS symbol for obvious reasons. Let's cut them some slack people, the entire Jewish population was nearly wiped out by a vegetarian, non smoking lunatic. If the Israelite's don't want that car sold in Israel with those badges it has every right to deny it. The auto maker should design an alternative badge to be used in Israel. -
Philippe Couillard, next leader of the PLQ
Peanutbutter replied to August1991's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
August1991, I appreciate your great insight into Qc politics, an insiders view if you will. Thank you for posting this I have found it most interesting as I have been reading about this since before I became a member here. Do you really think that the PLQ can overcome the vote deficit? -
Why aren't we building more pipelines right NOW?
Peanutbutter replied to Scotty's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Short lived. Do you propose that we leave the oil in the ground? What about minerals like gold silver copper zinc silicon? Should those also be left unharvested? How should we transition the whole of north America to.green fuels? -

OK and who is this group who u mentioned is being at the high risk of becoming pregnant? -
I'll vote for Mulcair before voting for Mr. Trudeau. Being a grade school drama teacher for a couple years and having a famous daddy doesn't mean he can run a country.

Of course and there is child abuse anywhere where children are. Sports, scouts and guides, schools. The priesthood isn't the only group that have had problems with sexual predators. Not all priests are sex offenders either. people seem to drawing conclusions like that which is unfair as I'm sure the majority of the priests are quite upset that children are being hurt.

I was only reporting on what the RCC position is, not my own. I'm quite sure that some pedophiles are in fact gay.
-
Its important to understand that this man is a great man of God who we should all respect. I find it hard to believe that he would have anything to do with hurting children. A few pedophile priests have been found to be hurting kids and have been dealt with. The RCC says that the church made some mistakes in the sixties due to the hippies and allowed some homosexuals to become priests. This has led to the child abuse they say. They have now barred gays from the vocation afaik. God bless and be well.

As a result Canada will soon have grade school drama teacher with good looks as our next PM. I'm sure he s qualified to lead a country.
-
I urge people to not take the Lord's name in vain today. It will make you feel better to bring love and kindness into your heart instead of anger and hatred.
-
You're claiming that the Catholic Church is telling its priests to abuse children which is totally false. You're making false statements and no one is calling you on it. You don't get to make things up because you don't like a religion. That's not how it works.
