  1. We are supposed to be a civilized society that embrace due process of law, including credibility assessment, where guilt or innocent can only be achieved by a “preponderance of the evidence” standard. This has not been met in any way, and credibility is not assessed on the basis of gender, the type of allegation, or one’s political bias. Sen. Feinstein sat on Ford’s letter, vetted it then sat on it for weeks shen she punted it onto the scene after the confirmation hearings were done. This is corruption at its core, she should step down.
  2. Gosh, whoda thunk it

    http://dailycaller.com/2018/09/28/kavanaugh-accuser-swetnick-sued/

WebTrends alleged in a lawsuit that, after the company determined she had engaged in “inappropriate conduct,” Swetnick made “false and retaliatory allegations” of sexual harassment against two male co-workers.

It appears to me that the left is out to overturn the fundamental tenet that you are innocent until proven guilty and the narrative is more important than the truth.

I don't care!  Swetnick is a woman, and therefore incapable of lying.  So...just shut up and do the right thing.

The left is out to overturn things so much, that they risk flipping themselves over.

  3. Thanks..they have no say... if they are doing pro Bono why does she need a haf million go fund me Pretty sure Democrats will find a one week FBI investigation, especially if nothing is found, insufficient and new allegations suddenly surface .
  4. Right, but the Democrats will try to get it extended.
  5. Thanks.. haven't heard that yet about the attorneys, where is it reported...
  6. So, an fbi investigation. ..An interesting point here. If the FBI clears Kavanaugh after a week or at least cannot corroborate stories, and Democrat Senators still vote no, they will appear hyper partisan and anti-due process right before the midterms. Is it possible this is a major trap for Democrats.
  7. and fart IMO Sen. Feinstein needs to step down, had she acted in good faith this wouldn't have happened, it would've been handled quietly; but she deliberately withheld information in order to stall a vote until after mid terms using both Ford and Kavanaugh as pawns in her political games. That was evil. Both sides lost, and the Democrats really did screw America, everyone.
  8. What about tomorrow, can they vote - to vote ? Just to say - Every decent, good man should find this frightening and appalling.
  9. Imagine showing up to a new country, making an asylum claim, then filing a human rights complaint demanding more extravagant taxpayer handouts. This is outrageous.

Why would someone hire an individual with no status in Canada?

And if illegal migrants are such a drain in Canada's economy, why are these two working and trying to pay their way?

  10. I thought he did need to come out swinging but maybe should've cooled it later on. It was riveting actually especially for a Senate hearing... but I think Senator Graham said it all, what a bad ass... https://youtu.be/hfd9hHOx6Vo Sen. Hatch got to the point. Not a single Democrat including Sen. Feinstein asked about a single allegation the entire time she had the letter and did not alert the FBI about it which gives credence to the feeling there really was an organized scam. Considering that this is the US Senate, on the scale of drunken actions against women, can the Democrats actually tell us where driving a woman into a lake and leaving her to drown, and then telling nobody, rates - top ten or no? I'm not clear on why the fixation on the FBI who have allready investigated him 6 ways to Sunday, and why he didn't give a clear answer. I think he had to avoid asking for an FBI investigation as that would give the Democrats the delay they wanted.
  11. Apparently there is a long investigation summary from the Judiciary Republicans which was distributed yesterday, on the interviews of these two men who say they, not Kavanaugh where the guys at that party. This whole thing is just bizarre. https://nypost.com/2018/09/27/two-men-tell-senate-that-they-not-kavanaugh-assaulted-ford/ I haven’t read it but wonder if it will come up today. https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/09.25.18 BMK Interview Transcript (Redacted).pdf
  12. Now that one really is the twilight zone... if she really did attend all these high school parties when she was older, she should be charged with being an accessory to a crime as she never reported it

  14. So the conservatives got one more seat but why bother voting as Gallant liberals dont respect the results  anyway.

I still don't see what Maritimers see in the liberals , they have not delivered anything, the province is almost bankrupt..many are just leaving....

  15. That's not the reason, its the mid terms which often gives through opposition more seats. If the democratics get a majority, the Republicans will never be able to fill the seat.
  16. I don't know who the Democrat party will nominate to run against Trump in 2020 but I was assaulted by him/her 30 years ago and I can't prove it. Will you support me?

  17. Still no evidence or corroboration of anything and yet people are willing to destroy a man's life with no evidence of anything. Dianne Feinstein didn’t want Bill Clinton impeached over allegations supported by DNA evidence but she does however, want Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation vote delayed over an unsupported allegation and stays silent on Keith Ellison’s documented abuse. Politically motivated hack at the least. Now Ford's high priced lawyers want a small room and limited media... it just goes on and on... what the FBI should investigate is who is paying for these high priced lawyers. Sen. Grassley needs to schedule the confirmation vote as they are being played. It looks as if Dr. Ford will be a no-show unless she gets to choreograph the event for partisan advantage.
  18. Amazing how many people respond to “can you point to some actual evidence?” With “why do you support rapists? You must be friends with rapists.”
  19. If anyone buys into this I can sell you some swampland in Florida. One person actually is calling for an FBI Investigation of Senate Democrats into their efforts to find women who would accuse Kavanaugh. What was promised and why is the natiion’s highest lawmaking body show complete disregard for the rights of the accused? It seems that the Democrats have become so unhinged that they believe the ends justifies the means (their means) https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/23/us/politics/brett-kavanaugh-christine-blasey-ford-testify.html The Times had interviewed several dozen people over the past week in an attempt to corroborate her story, and could find no one with firsthand knowledge. Ms. Ramirez herself contacted former Yale classmates asking if they recalled the incident and told some of them that she could not be certain Mr. Kavanaugh was the one who exposed himself.
  20. Waiting for another hit job cos the first isn't working. ...
  21. Exactly how can she now testify under oath about this when all her named witnesses have denied any knowledge of the allegation?
  22. Well, I put this in a status update but believe it should be here also... Someone from the Committee has said that they have contacted five people alleged to be at party. 4 deny any knowledge of the party and allegations – Dr. Ford is the fifth person and the only one who has not provided them with a statement Christine Ford has named her "lifelong friend" Leland Ingham Keyser who has no recollection of it https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/22/politics/kavanaugh-ford-accuser-nomination/index.html
  23. I believe it's a political agenda, one which IMO she didn't think would end up at Senate Hearings... The democrats sat on this for three months, so if they were serious about it, they should’ve told about it right away. . Sitting on an allegation of sexual assault for maximum political impact is an “extreme abuse of power . Chairman Grassley delayed the Kavanaugh vote, offering accommodations to Ford and gave her an opportunity to testify. This whole “Republicans are silencing her” card is the biggest load of B.S. I’ve heard all week. Democrats have created a mockery of American politics. https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-presumption-of-guilt-1537570627 The accuser has to prove the allegation, otherwise we have a Jacobin system of justice in which “J’accuse” becomes the standard and anyone can be ruined on a whim or a vendetta.
  24. "Democrats are backing a demand by Dr. Ford’s attorney that the judge be required to speak first — before he has heard the accusations against him. It is a complete inversion of civil rights, one familiar to totalitarian dictatorships."  Breitbart

  25. Internal documents obtained by the Tucker CarlsonTonight,  show that Google employees discussed corrupting the company’s search engine to push propaganda on hundreds of millions of unsuspecting users, all in a bid to resist Pres.  Trump.   If this is true it is treasonous and should be treated as such.

They might not be required by law to be neutral but deliberately corrupting a major search engine in order to swing an election is something else.  This is the same company that's shuts down free speech for political reasons so IMO they should be required to just be a search engine, no manipulating the results.   People should also be aware that there are other search engines e.g. duckduckgo.com

If FOX isn't required to be neutral, and can slant news and information any way it pleases then so can Google. Any law which impacted Google would have to impact FOX.
