  1. They said right from the get go they would not vote for any appointee, so it was in the cards anyway. Booker (call me Spartacus) says he shouldn't be appointed even if he's cleared. Last I heard was that Ford's ultra resistance lawyers are obstructing as they won't hand over paperwork. IMO women are most upset about the Kavanaugh injustice because they see their sons, fathers, husbands, and uncles in a wrongly accused man that has had his reputation and family destroyed on baseless 35 year old claims that are political driven. It's the politically driven and Juanita Broderick wants an FBI probe - now - remember - all women must be believed.
  2. M. Rempel....!!!!!!! Trudeau whipped his caucus to vote against putting Tori Stafford’s killer behind bars and LEFT THE HOUSE AND DIDNT VOTE!! COWARD!

What a buffoon. If it weren't so sad, it would be funny. I know many people who dislike Justin as our PM. If there's one thing Canadians hate it's a phoney.

He made a whipped vote then didn't even show up to vote.

PM Trudeau  is a coward and a disgrace to his office.  Because of him, a child murderer will continue to serve out her sentence in a minimum security healing lodge.

Trudeau does have the power to reverse the decision but he won’t,  no matter how many want justice, he doesn't care about anyone even Tori Stafford’s father, Rodney, who  has pleaded with him to fix the problem..

There needs to be a "ANYTHING but Justin " campaign....

  3. Both sides should be investigated, fairly, not just the accused, but our ideas of fairness and innocent until proven guilty seems not to apply in some cases.. Somebody is escalating and ramping up attacks - weird but that's the way it goes I guess...
  4. Best not to reply to trolls/sock puppets. If I were falsely accused I would do everything to fight back including questioning the accuser's testimony. IMO they've allready done their damage, even if/when cleared he will be stigmatized forever, the Dems have done their jobs, which I think, could be payback for his part in the Clinton investigation.
  5. Juanita Broddrick who accused Clinton is demanding an FBI probe on her Clinton rape claim. Having said that, I hope Ms. Ford donates most of her $700K to a group which helps women who have been assaulted.
  6. So it's not okay to be in public office if you drank a lot school, but it's okay to be President if you did coke. Meanwhile Ms. Ford hasn't been entirely truthful. N York Post reported on the polygraph but not the rest of his statement. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/christine-blasey-ford-ex-boyfriend-says-she-helped-friend-prep-for-potential-polygraph-grassley-sounds-alarm
  7. If they have lead an exemplary life and career since then, I'm inclined to think that way. Certainly getting drunk is common so can't see that being a factor. Uncoroborated accusations are iffy, especially the timing and so on, so yeah.....
  8. Democrats don't believe her story...https://www.foxnews.com/politics/lawyer-who-cleared-ellison-of-domestic-abuse-allegations-is-partner-at-firm-that-donated-500g-to-dems and there's Cory Booker the Senator who admitted to groping a high school friend after he kissed her, says it doesn't matter if Judge Kavanaugh is innocent or guilty. Up until now, I thought that some of Trump's anti-media rhetoric was exaggerated and some hyperbole. However, the media's handling of the Kavanaugh story has vindicated much of what Trump has said about them. Rex Murphy gets it https://nationalpost.com/opinion/rex-murphy-the-most-obvious-creeps-in-the-kavanaugh-circus-are-the-journalists
  9. I guess Kavanaugh is the only frat guy to ever get drunk or throw ice... wonder what would be found if they want through the history of all Senators and Congressmen/women Wait...I bet he even planned a big party or something newsworthy.
  10. Dems. Have unleashed their minions.  2 attacks today on Cruz and on Harris

    1. Argus

      Argus

Cruz should be attacked hourly, never mind daily. He's a scumbag. Who's Harris?

Some sites are claiming the woman who screamed at Flake in the elevator works for Soros.

I don't care for Cruz either but it's wrong to do what the protesters are doing. Harris is a Maryland Republican Congressman.   Senators now have to have protection   http://www.rollcall.com/news/politics/senate-judiciary-members-escorted-through-protests-by-police

I've read about that woman too,  She is a director of  Center for Popular Democracy which is said to be funded by Soros.  They were behind some anti Trump campaigns.

  11. I'm rooting for innocent until proven guilty, not, guilty by accusation.
  12. She lied about the two front doors, the reason and dates Ford was asked why her friend said she never met Kavanaugh and the party didn’t happen? Ford said “Leland has significant health challenges, & I’m happy that she is focusing on herself.”
  13. The third accuser, Swetncik said that Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Judge “gang raped” girls in a side room or bedroom by a “train” of numerous boys. During an NBC interview she admitted she never actually saw anybody get raped but just assumed...... It seems to me that the left wants to instigate Napoleonic Law where you have to prove your innocence rather than the courts proving you guilty… the destruction of the presumption of innocence is an attack on civilized society. It is not part of our society to allow lynch mobs to demand a man’s career be ruined by a vague accusation with no substantiating evidence .
  14. Nobody is a hero here, I don't believe she's an operative but I do believe she's being used by the dems.
  15. I don't like the fixation on abortion and religion in the U.S., for the record I'm pro choice - I have no dog in this hunt. We don't know he's a liar or a sexual assaulter, so far everything points to him not being so. I also wonder how he's going to overturn Roe/Wade unless he has a magic want he can use. There has to be a case work it's way through the system to the S.C. and based on his impeccable record he would judge based on law/constitution. What really bothers me is the effort to destroy Kavanaugh’s nomination which required the systematic refutation of the entire notion of Western jurisprudence by senators along with much of the U.S. legal establishment. There was no hesitation in doing just exactly on the part of Democrats, the metoo movement and the press. It certainly is becoming an Orwellian world Also, the female prosecutor has said it would never get to court, maybe it should (go to court). https://amgreatness.com/2018/09/30/epitaph-for-a-dying-culture/
  16. Trump could have nominated Jesus Christ for the S.C. and the Democrats would have crucified him again - many of the American people see right through the Democrats disgusting tactics.
  17. Liberal propagandist, Micheal Moore, says his ex-wife  is lying and trying to “smear him.”

this sounds familiar but  Michael, according to your frinds we are supposed to believe all accusers, no questions asked.

    1. Don Jonas

      Don Jonas

Which friends are you referring to? Are they also your friends or are they your enemies?

  18. No, but the democrats want it to be, even if it's not true. Strange tho that we know nothing about her and her family is silent.
  19. Actually he isn't, the direction comes from the senators
  20. Interesting. https://www.thedailybeast.com/gop-senator-feinstein-will-be-investigated-for-leaking-kavanaugh-accusers-letter And rightly so..
  21. I cancelled it...
  22. I think you are right... My son just talked me out of for security reasons. He says they all gather information and can send it out, can be hacked yadda yadda.. he was just adamant, don't buy one. Am going to cancel it now. He also mentioned Bixby on the smart phone but he doesn't recommend using that either.
  23. Just wondering what everyone thinks about them and what they recommend. I've actually ordered the https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/amazon-echo-plus-with-alexa-english-black/11983812.aspx? as it was cheaper than at Amazon. Also I can return it directly if I needed to, it's a pain to return mail order stuff from Amazon, plus there's a charge. We don't have a smart home yet and probably won't go full tilt as we are not in a big city, if I were in Toronto I would. Also reading up on security after watching market place the other night on hacking security cameras.
  24. The idea that an alleged act should override due process is more than concerning and is certainly not constitutional or within common-law tradition. It really bothers me that people want to override the whole system of 'innocent until proven guilty' What we are seeing here is a type of hatred that comes from relentless propagandizing from the radical left who don’t seem want to act in good faith and are too willing to throw men (or anyone) to the wolves if it suits their purpose. I've also read that she misrepresented herself as records show she is not a registered psychologist. Interesting note that, at the time, had she pressed charges it would’ve been only a misdemeanour and tried in juvenile court, with a statue of limitations, of one year. http://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/4951844/Police-and-State-s-Attorney-Response-to.pdf I would also love to know if the Democrats got her permission to request the criminal investigation.
  25. The Democrats actually sent a letter to the State Attorney requesting they open a criminal investigation into Kavanaugh's alleged behaviour but where shot down. I wonder if they got permission from Ford to do that or if she was consulted first. http://www.baltimoresun.com/bal-police-and-state-s-attorney-response-to-montgomery-county-house-delegation-s-request-to-open-crimina-20180928-htmlstory.html
