It's quite bizarre that when atheists speak against religion it's almost always referring to the Christian religion. I never hear them speak out against the Muslim or Jewish Holidays but always the Christian ones. This is terrible. It is the atheist true agenda.

Atheists always attack Christianity instead of Islam. Strange.

We need to keep this in context here fellas. We have to keep an eye on the Islamic countries and those countries who are soft on Islamic countries. They have death penalties for crimes that aren't very severe. This is the level of fanaticism that isn't welcome in Canada.

People who are on social services are having their benefits stripped from them. They are getting less, not more. The rich are getting more and the poor and disabled are being punished. Benefits were slashed by 40% by Mike Harris and has remained at the same level since then. That was nearly 20 years ago now. Benefits must be raised NOW! But instead they are being further lowered.

I think the anti God people are more fanatical then people who believe in God. Did you know that in many Islamic countries just saying that God doesn't exist is punishable by death(beheading)? Strange how many people attack Christianity but refrain from attacking Islam, I wonder why that is....hrm....

Sometimes it seems like Atheism itself is a religion, the way that some of its proponents fanatically preach it.

So will you left wing types stick to this stance of being tough on crime or will you fold once again? Is it only good to be tough on crime when it benefits you and your ilk?

Do we have no one moderate to run this city? We need someone who won't spend us into bankruptcy yet will be compassionate enough to care about the real people of this city that make up the majority. We do not need another Mayor Miller, Toronto needs someone moderate and reasonable.

I liked what I heard when Ford was running for mayor but he has done nothing of what he said he was going to do once he was elected. Miller spent way too much, Ford seems to be incompetent. Can we not find a reasonable person to be mayor of our city? We just need someone who isn't flashy or gimmicky who will be a sound money manager. That's all. Seems like a tall order with the current offerings.

I didn't support the terrorist group Hamas launching rockets into Israel but I did however support Israel defending its citizens from terror.

Cybercoma, you must stop defending these people. Hamas are bad people, they don't like democracy like you or I , surely you must know this.

PLO runs West bank while Hamas runs Gaza. No Jews are involved in the running of any of territories mentioned but Arabs are in government in Israel yet somehow Arabs are mistreated in Israel. Yeah sure, tell me another.

It's awful that these women chose a time when we we're honoring our war veterans to disrespect them in this way. It was absolutely disgusting display of disrespect and I could not believe it. They should've done that a day after but I don't expect new comers to have any respect for this country at all since Canada seems to let anyone in now a days. Terrible. it makes me sad that some people would come to Canada only to scream in veterans faces, some of whom are 80 and 90 years old. These are someones mother, father, grand parents. How would these people like it if they yelled at their parents? I doubt they would like it at all. it truly makes me feel very sad. If I wasn't disabled I would stand up to them too but I am afraid of them knowing my true identity because I know that some people of other cultures are beheading people now a days and I don't want to be on the list. It's scary.

I like Harper and I line Mulcair. They are very similar in the way that they are both really quite unremarkable. I would feel comfortable with either of them being PM. I like Pierre P, he speaks well and is confident. Party members of all political stripes do as they are told, regardless of what the NDP MP's would have us believe.

Compared to someone on on welfare or disability $100k a year is rich. Our system is already sucking half of all tax dollars into it every year and is increasing yearly as well. A surcharge or something needs to be done to help pay for this massive program.

I want to see all of our natural resources being controlled by the government. Privatization of our natural resources must be banned immediately. Whoever controls the resources, controls the country.

It might help alleviate the pressure on Docotrs if we allowed the rich people to pay for their own healthcare at least partially. For instance if people make over $100k a year then they would pay $1000 healthcare tax or 1% of their income or even a half percentage point. Anything would help. We need to start doing this immediately to save our healthcare system. If it collapses it's the poor and disabled people like myself who will suffer, the rich people can always pay for healthcare whereas we cannot.

The news said that Obama was denying the attack as a terrorist attack for a long time even after the public knew it was.

jacee, what about Pm Martin and his Multi Billion dollar shipping flotilla? That man hid more money then any PM of recent history. It was appalling that he was allowed to hide so much money in the Bahamas. He is a billionaire who wanted to rule the world. This is the people who are dangerous. I feel that PM Harper is a good man and I also feel that Mulcair is also a good and nice man but I don't trust the Liberal man., too sneaky and scary. My friend said that the Liberal man did something called Ad scam. Stealing money from us to pay their millionaire friends while the disabled and poor suffer. Harper and Mulcair are friends of the poor and disabled.

Lets all agree that all parties do things that regular Canadians would find disturbing. No party is perfect and every party does things that are quite silly.
