    They took the cue from Justin, who marches to every rainbow parade. But hey, that's him - he might be a closet queen for all we know that's why he couldn't seem to get enough of these parades. (a while back, a foreigner had seriously asked me if our PM is gay)! So now, it seems to become a standard that a candidate is willing to prance about in an LGBTQ parade! Lol. Religious people should make it the standard for a PM-wanna be to attend religious services of every color - just so to demonstrate equality when it comes to religion!

    Today's "conservatism" - as displayed by some so-called conservatives in the last conservative primary election - are as illiberals as the current liberals! And I'll bet, they won't be fiscally conservative either! They'll be on a pissing contest with the socialist-leaning Liberals and the socialist NDP - and that pissing contest will definitely include ass-kissing Quebec! Today's "conservatives," effectively demonized social conservatism, and had relegated social conservatives to alt-right and supremacists! The only reason they're tolerating social conservatives, is to prevent the conservative party from splitting! The option now is choosing the lesser evil. And, that's looking to be quite a difficult choice.

    Turkey passed up - actually ignored - Canada's offer to help!

     

    Canada offered to help Turkey investigate the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, but the Turks never took up the proposal. 

    Documents from Global Affairs Canada obtained by CBC News under Access to Information law show that in October 2018, then-foreign affairs minister Chrystia Freeland told her Turkish counterpart Canada would be happy to send investigators to help probe the death of the prominent Saudi journalist and dissident.

    A Global Affairs employee, who asked not to be identified, told CBC News that Turkish officials let the offer hang and never asked for Canada's help — despite repeated calls from its president for broad international co-operation in the investigation of Khashoggi's death.

    "Turkey simply never asked us," the Canadian official said.

    The U.S. has featured more prominently in Turkey's efforts; President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan personally urged the Americans to get more involved in the probe. Turkey also sent Washington and other national governments an audio recording of Khashoggi's death.

    Why am I only a Minister of Lavalin Affairs? I think I'll be good at Trade - after all being a member of a group called "Swap," I've got the experience! Hah! Plus..…did I forget to mention being on good terms with Trump? And, Bush Cheney? I can get us a whole lot better deal than we've got now! I'll work that Trump's slogan will change to, "USA and CANADA FIRST!" I've got the Evangelical connection, you know.

    Just got this tv - inherited from my deceased relative. No manual. We're trying to get some channels ( we have the basic cable package since we don't really watch a lot of tv - just mostly news), but we can't. We end up with this smart hub option. What is a smart hub? I'm afraid to click the okay button (agreeing to it) without knowing exactly what could be entailed with it. Does it have an extra cost? Thanks.

    Liberalism is not sustainable.  Sooner or later, the folly of Liberalism will swing the majority to Conservatives!

      It's not a party - it's a movement within the Conservative Party that want to get rid of Scheer.  They claim they don't have anyone in particular to support yet.

      Mind you, I think Scheer isn't quite effective and I do  want someone else with more oomph to tackle Trudeau next time....but I don't like it for the reasons that this Victory something (?) are promoting their desire to get rid of him.

      They want him to be a LIBERAL!

    How do you vote? It won't let me. I vote NO! "You people," means new immigrants! Are new immigrants all visible minorities? You tell me there are no new white immigrants? Even if he was wrong in making assumptions that people he saw were all new immigrants - can't we give the guy a break for obviously being emotional about Remembrance Day? Looks like a lot of people are more into policing what other people say - lol, our Canadian soldiers had died for the right to express ourselves!

    Enana leaving Canada (and changing its name). Other companies will be talking about this, and it may spur them to leave as well. It will serve as a warn to others from investing here. It surely is not worth any companies while to invest and linger in Canada - what with all regulations (and the lawsuits that usually follow)!

    Demonizing any platform that seeks to LESSEN immigration in any way, is the new tactic by globalists who want to knock down borders and sovereignty! Trudeau, and the other socialist-leaning parties are blue-blooded globalists! They have too, all the mainstream Canadian media on their side - some, most likely even in their pocket! Sadly, majority of Canadians have been brainwashed and "programmed" - thanks largely to our media - and had lost the capability to think practically - heck, they don't think for themselves anymore! Common sense, is alien to them! True conservatism is dead in Canada. The only chance of its revival would be for Canada to really hit rock bottom - not unlike Venezuela! "Flooding" rich and once powerful western nations, is a way to weaken them! Just look at European nations!
