  1. We know that the anti-Trump are doing their best to get rid of Trump - and they're making the "collusion" narrative stick. They've got the motive. Really.....they're trying to make something out of Trump's effort to be diplomatic with Putin. If Trump came after Putin blasting away with bravado, guess what - they'll still be dumping on Trump for not being diplomatic with Putin.
  2. So many reacted over Trump's doubt with the US intelligence over Putin's alleged involvement. Why is that surprising? http://www.businessinsider.com/trump-putin-summit-remarks-some-republicans-defend-2018-7 Well....we've got evidence why Trump has his doubts, don't we? Just because they are AMERICANS doesn't mean that we should blindly - automatically - take their side, should we? That they're automatically the "good" guys. Anyway, how do you conduct a dialogue between leaders of nations? What happens if Trump started pointedly accusing Putin of meddling? Do they think Putin will just hang his head and shame-facedly say, "gosh, you're right. I shouldn't have been meddling." More likely, we'll be back right smack in the middle of a cold war!
  3. I saw the press conference. I don't see any so-called "debacle" over what was said. Just because some people think it is, doesn't make it so.
  4. What "debacle," exactly?
  5. If someone wants to kill himself - why not just go ahead and do it? People do it all the time. Why force someone to assist?? Pointing them to someone, IS, assisting! That would be like showing where the gun is located, to someone who wants to shoot himself! There. It's right in that cupboard, behind the sugar. Somebody wanna hang himself - he should do it all by himself! Somebody wants someone willing to assist, should do the homework himself. "I think," is not good enough. Making up laws willy-nilly, without serious study over its implications, will result in confusions and a tangled system. We shouldn't be playing with laws just to appease special interest groups.
  6. You seem to be advocating creating laws would be the answer - ie, people committing suicides - like, assisted suicide. Creation of some laws had stepped on the rights of other people - some are being forced to go against their conscience. The law based on the Constitution, should be INTERPRETED - NOT CREATED! That's the problem with our system - appointed liberal judges making up laws! With legalized prostitution, I wonder if a landlord can refuse to have his apartment become a brothel?
  7. Did CTV or CBC showed Trump supporters showing their support in UK?

The only Trump supporters left are the ones who will admit they don't mind politicians working with adversarial foreign powers to illegally hack their rivals and compromise free elections. They hate their left-wing neighbours so much that irritating them is more important to them than western democracy.

Trudeau and his minions have spent a lot more time and money trying to influence Americans than Putin.   More terrorists came from Canada than Russia.   NATO deadbeats have no grounds to whine about Trump.

  8. Lol.  CBC says that Trump believes Putin instead of his intelligence.   Good thing the guy  being interviewed corrected her.

What is the likelihood that the a really big story about $400M going to Hillary Clinton's campaign will be 24/7 investigated and the lead news story - not likely.   It wasn't until Clinton  lost trhe Election that she and Obama  started a Russia Trump narrative to hide her involvement.

Funny tho Putin says Hillary Clinton took $400 Million from a Russian Group but Democrats are calling Trump a traitor for having a press conference.  Go figure

Funny how, like Trump, you take Putin's word for something over the FBI. Putin was referring to Bill Browder. Look him up. Don't forget to read about the Magnitsky Act, which started this whole thing. If you read far enough you will realize that it has nothing to do with Hillary and Putin was trolling you.

So to answer your question, there is no likelihood.

FBI protected Hillary Clinton, not Putin.   She lost anyway !

  9. If your daughters are under the spell of a charismatic pimp (who supply them their drugs) - and they're going a-whoring for him - you won't try to get them away from that guy? You'll just throw your hands up in the air and just say, "well, they're both adults, so they can decide what to do." I suppose, it'll be a consolation knowing that prostitution is legal, at least.
  10. No, we're talking about how you'd react with your daughter(s) - basing it on your "philosophy" that they can do whatever they want with their body! I'm assuming you'll go by what you believe how it should be, right? They can do whatever they want with their bodies. So, if they shot up heroin in front of you.....that's okay with you. I'm assuming that, of course. Lol. I'm picturing this: your daughter is so disraught, she's getting ready to kill herself, and you're pleading, "listen to me sweetheart......you wanna hear my advice? Say yes! Say yes, please hon. Say you want my advice! WAIT! WAIT! Listen to me! " continuation: So, sweetie you wanna end it, I can see that. Let's go to a doctor for an assisted suicide, okay? less messy that way."
  11. Some people don't know that certain caves get flooded. Or, certain amusement parks aren't alligator-free.
  12. If your daughter wants to mutilate herself - or hang herself - or, keep doing drugs, you say you're not going to interfere? It's her body, she can do what she wants with it?
  13. Anyway......why are lesbians playing heterosexual roles? Ellen de Generes (with that old chick flick, Mr Wrong) Like Jodie Foster? Ellen Page? Cynthia Nixon? Surely, there are gazillion heterosexual A-lister actors who can play them! So why Foster, Nixon and Page?
  14. Maybe, there's another reason why Scarlet Johannson bowed out of the trans movie. It could've been a well-calculated move. Scarlett Johansson Ditches 'Rub And Tug' To Save 'Black Widow' https://www.forbes.com/sites/scottmendelson/2018/07/13/scarlett-johansson-ditches-rub-and-tug-to-save-black-widow/#19ee0f9b398d
  15. Just finished watching Wind River, btw. It's a very good movie. And no.....I don't think it's hard casting Indians for Indian roles. A lot of good Indian actors around.....so there are a lot to choose from. As for transgender people, I don't know how many actors are transgendered. If it's slim-picking......that would be a problem. A b-acting will definitely make an A-movie look like B.
  16. Why should she say she is what she isn't?
  17. The point you keep missing (and I'm not really surprised about it)....is that you are a hypocrite for using the Thai children (and this thread) to promote your anti-Trump admin agenda. You don't care about any children dying - whether they are Muslims or not. Heck, you don't care about Syrians at all! All you pointed out for criticism is the Trump admin - you gave Assad a clear pass. Hudson unwittingly reflected it best: to him, migrant children are just political cartoons! All they are to both of you, are just handy propaganda tools at the moment - something to tie up with this story about the Thai incident. Lol. You're as transparent as clear plastic.
  18. That's the message I'm getting.
  19. Our society is becoming.....so surreal.
  20. They're making a big deal with Johannsen playing a role that was meant for an asian woman in another movie - but no one's saying anything about The King and I. This leaves me to believe that asians/orientals, are being lumped together due to their physical looks!
  21. But....they are being treated by others as special. Just look at all the hoopla about Johannsen!
  22. Yes......acting. That's how actors shine through with their prowess - to make something unreal, seem real. Remember Charlize Theron gaining weight for the Monster movie? Matthew McConaughey too, really got into a role and had lost so much weight for it - that I thought he had AIDS or is dying! Lol. Given the campaign for mental health awareness these days.......if the character is insane - should we now insist that a real insane person depict it?
  23. It's this "special status" being given to so-called "special groups!" What makes LGBT and Indians so special, and above other groups?
  24. I don't know much about that pic, but if it's a biopic - with Johannsen - they were getting the biography about this transman, aren't they? If transgender people don't like the movie with Johannsen, no one's forcing them to see it! They can hope it flops.
  25. But they do try to intimidate and dictate, right? Johanssen should've had the spine to forge ahead.
