Too bad nobody cared about the kids when Obama did it.

 America has millions of children  living in poverty  homeless children! What about them? 

Why are illegals who put their children in this position more important than those kids?   

10,000 currently in custody where sent alone by their parents.  

That's a lot of deflection in one post. 

Obama had a zero tolerance policy that sought to discourage immigration by putting kids more than 20 to a cage? Nope. Someone lied to you again and you believed them again.

The rest is a pretty weak argument. I bet years from now, when this is all over and Trump is dead, you will deny ever arguing in favour of caging children.

I'm not in favour of 'caging children' but keep on denying that it didn't happen under Obama.

I am however in favour of sending a message to those who cross illegally and also send their kids unaccompanied.

 The U.S. is taking in around 250 kids per day at that rate there will tens of thousands of them to process and look after. Up to now around 12,000 of these kids are unaccompanied minors – so no parents with them.  It’s child abuse to send your kids into another country with gangs/cartels and smugglers.

Family who arrive at ports of entry and request asylum will not be prosecuted because they have not attempted to enter the country illegally
