When everyone believed it to be true.....there's no problem in showing the face of this girl. I saw her on tv.
But now that she is apologising, they have to blur her face.
Why?

It was the family who spoke to the media a few hours after being "informed" of the alleged incident. They're too quick to talk to the media! Why the media?
Why would you want to sensationalize an incident that had just occurred - surely, you'd want to know more about it before you go speaking publicly? If your kid had just been through a very traumatic experience (luckily, it was just the hijab that was attacked - that your kid wasn't stabbed with those scissors - a scary possibility for any parent) - wouldn't you be spending the next few hours comforting your child?
And yet, after an investigation in which it was discovered the whole thing was fabricated, it took them two days to issue an apology!
The whole thing stinks!

I would say it is a sad fact that there are way too many people out that that want to shame a child, that is probably why they blurred her face.

Nearly every article states the the incident "never happened". They don't say she lied, just that it never happened. And yes, she and her family should be asked why she did it.
