To be honest with you, the hard line might be no better than the soft liberal one, when you look at the results. But in this particular case, the one that this thread is about, the dude with 59 convictions shouldn’t have been released. The law dictated his sentencing and the parole board’s actions. It’s not the board’s fault when laws and judges dictate their actions, at least to a point. The larger picture of First Nations issues, can be solved. This summer I heard several First Nations speakers share what is on their hearts. I was amazed to hear such courage and leadership. They shared the horrors of their childhood years, and I would trust leaders such as those, if they were tasked with finding solutions. Our politicians do not have the moral fortitude to come up with meaningful solutions.

To claim that we are not in debt by comparing us to the US model? Debt is debt. The climbing interest rates have real consequences, how much it costs to service the debt. A PM that has wildly spent and multiplied our debt can thank people like you for cheering him on. Get real.

The FBI raided many of those from J6 who never went into the Capitol, looking for that laptop. The thing is, Trump is about 10 moves ahead of the FBI. He knew they would eventually raid him. He left only the documents he wanted them to have. Did you notice all of the Classified envelopes that were empty? He was playing with them.

I linked to a study in France where they found 5% of Covid cases were smokers when 25% of the population smokes. Over 800 subjects and I can’t find it now…

My sister in law has been suffering with long hauler Covid. We heard through a trusted source that nicotine acts as a blocker to the Covid virus, which can stay in the system for years. The source gave a treatment schedule for nicotine gum(and Vitamin c, melatonin to purge the virus), which we passed along to her. Within a few days her symptoms vanished. Same result for a nurse she knows.

The system is soft on crime for sure. The laws, the judges and the system in general. A psychopath with that many convictions should have been kept away from the public.
