  1. I don't know if you understood my comment, but since the socialist party lost this election, they were indeed rejected.
  2. Uh, no again. The magazine is left wing so it doesn't find that there are any conservatives in the top 100. Of course, this won't stop the Bill O'reillys from taking the lead time and time again when framing the debate on any number of issued that Americans face.
  3. Well well well. Socialism rejected in France, will wonders never cease? Let's see what this guy does about the Muslim problem.
  4. It sounds more like a piramid scheme than anything else, although they don't say much about it on the web page. I take it back, Oprah and Ellen De. are into it, it must be TRUTH!
  5. To pass any legislation as a minority, you have to get other parties' support. The crux of the matter is that the other parties are also behaving differently than they would in a majority government. They want payment for their votes and then will take credit for it. The governing party also has to tread carefully. On top of it all, the minority government gets attacked for not having a mandate. Personally, I prefer a majority government (as long as it's a Tory!), otherwise it's pretty much a lame duck.
  6. I'm not insulted by decade old references, I pity the fool that uses them as insults.
  7. Yes, that hurts legitimate immigration. There needs to be tighter laws to throw out the law breakers immediately.
  8. Uh no, it's called bias. In a story with 100 people to talk about, this link spends 2 paragraphs on Rosie. I saw no actual list. I'd like to see how many conservative leaders made the list. I'll bet not even 5 if they put Justin Timberlake on it. Time is definitely left, so no surprise.
  9. I don't see evidence that the guy exists, let alone that he speaks for Hamas or that he even wrote an article -- the only source offered shows a definite anti-Muslim bias - I am sure that Hamas considers Israel an enemy - the rest seems questionable Questionable? It's there in black and white. Besides, what's so hard to believe about it. The Iranian president has called for Israel's demise repeatedly, you can't believe that Hamas, whose actions prove they feel the same way, think alike?
  10. A Forrest Gump reference? Man, at least try to stay current with your insults!
  11. Yes, which is 5 points higher than the poll you've been speaking of.
  12. That certainly shows your ignorance of Korea. Ah, the ignorance of youth, eh? BCchick really doesn't know what's what, but that don't stop her from proving it!
  13. that was a very informative post, as I said to someone else recently, it must be tough to be a Jew these days{living in Israel even more so}.
  14. I suppose this is where Jew haters will scour the net, looking for any dirt they can find to hold up to this idiocy and claim,"See, the Jews are just as bad!" Which of course would justify nothing and totally miss the point. Hamas is a disease of the brain, and those who are taught to hate while still wearing diapers have no chance.
  15. I do what I can...what's this, you are taking figgy's side in something? I must pm him on this! Hey, I've been wracking my brain trying to remember who it was that commented on their childhood saying they knew that they were gay from an early age, was it you? I only ask because cybercoma has been on my case claiming how bigotted I was to say you or he(her) was gay. Do you find me bigotted?
  16. Those were heady days when the Liberals were way ahead like that month after month. And pretty much one of the reasons for it was that Harper split the right wing up over the some of the same things he accused Mulroney of doing but now now himself. The ignore button is a useful thing to use. It eventually caused Ricki to implode and earn a banning. It will probably end up doing the same thing to others if they try to harass you by PM. Oh, what happened to Ricky, and why do you include the comment about harassment? I wondered where he went.
  17. In fact, when you compare their results with all the others, they are always reporting lower results for Tories than anyone else. Obviously they are playing with the numbers, as probably the polster who has the Highest results always for the Tories.
  18. The Decima results are skewed for some reason. Their result is in disagreement with all of the other ones. In statistics, it's called being skewed.
  19. Wow, the media is really giving her a pass on this comment. They would freak if a Tory said that. It's why so many are turning to conservative media outlets. At least there you know what you're getting.
  20. Yes, because Ipsos Reid, Leger Merketing, SES research and Strategic council all place the Tories higher than 30% Decima is wrong. You can't seem to face the facts though.
  21. It is probably why the Tories are at 30% in the latest polls. I've got some data for you: brace yourself, the Tories are not at 30% in the latest polls, or any polling organization save one. Since at least 4 organizations place them higher, you are clearly clinging to a poll result that is skewed. Can jdobbin face the truth?
  22. Are you saying that every single stitch of land that is present day Israel is occupied Palestine? Uh oh, we better get out the maps, because if you want to go back that far and use that premise, then dozens of countries in Europe, Africa and the Orient have land they should be giving back. Only they won't. And the countries who've lost the land aren't sending over bomb laden donkeys( or people) until they get their way, they've moved on in their lives, built a country out of what they have and so on. As for what Lebanon wants, countries that permit foreign armies(hezbolah) to occupy their land while attacking another (and permit said army to force its citizens to not flee the area where they are shooting missiles from so as to have higher citizen deaths) do not usally get what they want. Please don't speak of moral ground when you are defending a morally bankrupt country like Lebanon
  23. Michael, here is a link to a summary of polls. BCchick just told me she put me on her ignore list so she can't see this: polling data
  24. Bush_cheney, her premise is silly, most countries are full of people who know little of what goes on outside their borders. This is not a worthy reason of why NA is not fit to support wars or anything else.
  25. I did that too. Above 35% for more than two weeks. The way you Harper-supporters go on about him and about Dion's inability to lead, I would not expect less than 45% for Harper. What's wrong then with your argument? How about your argument? You claim all manner of broken promises and failures with the Tories since they came to power, how come they are still above 35%? Why, according to you they should be dropping like a rock!
