  1. You are under the mistaken belief that a one yr old can remember an experience.
  2. A radio show on XM Radio, Opie & Anthony's show, chatted about the rape of Condi Rice with a caller: Anthony Cumia interrupted to say he "could just imagine the horror on Condoleezza Rice's face when she realized that you were holding her down and f - - -ing her." "Punching her in the f - - -ing face and f - - -ing her," added a laughing "Charlie," before saying he also wanted to force himself on First Lady Laura Bush. I await with baited breath the response from the very same activists and groups who protested Imus. Since these remarks are also about a black woman, and are far worse, will Al Sharpton and company freak?
  3. Yeah, I felt pretty proud the day that Harper cast his fateful vote. By the number of times you keep repeating it, it meant a lot to you as well.
  4. Do you seriously believe that the Concordia professor's review of more than 100 published studies was based on studies performed in Canada? actually, I'm not surprised they didn't bother to study Canadians. After all, this study was commissioned by a Liberal government trying desperately to cram a policy down our throats. Mere details such as whether they did their own research or not wasn't worth considering, as long as they stayed with in the $25,000 chump change the government offered.
  5. Yeah fellas, that's why I only said 'it gets dicey'. I never claimed it was a court. However, if current trends continue, churches could be forced to not discriminate on the basis of sex.
  6. I'd say the parents being not worried is the least reason to not worry about the child since they put him next to a wild animal. Do you not see the cobra lunging at the baby's face? This is significantly more dangerous to an eye than a stationary table. BTW since the baby can only crawl at this point, the table is not a concern.
  7. Do you seriously believe that the Concordia professor's review of more than 100 published studies was based on studies performed in Canada? You mean it's not? Then that would be even less representative of Canadians.
  8. Apparently it gets dicey if they want to refuse to rent a hall to a lesbian couple getting married. In a few years, they could well force churches to marry gays if this current trend continues.
  9. Your link reports on a study from Planned Parenthood on American pregnancies, hardly comparable to Canada. Our birth rates are much lower. Are we not talking about couples having children? Why did you highlight the stats on all pregancies? Married women have very low rates of unintended pregancies, it says.
  10. The baby could easily lose an eye, which in that poor culture would probably make him a beggar for life. Other than that, though, no danger.
  11. Your posts provoke much thought and I agree with most of what you say. It is indeed the actions of man using violence to promote an ideology over another. I think the 20th century was the most violent yet. 2 world wars, Stalin and others wiping out their own people, Viet Nam and Korea, plus dozens of regional conflicts. And, of course, the Middle East.
  12. What will you do after the networks go on strike? Man the Sens looked good in game one! I'd like to hear what all the doubters in Ottawa think now.
  13. Who said they would be? You are not exactly the same as your neighbour and you both grew up in mom and dad homes. In fact , havng two moms might mean the kid is better........could that happen? Sure could. And the other way around. Funny thing about kids, there are no guarentees they will turn out great. Uh, the STUD Y said they would turn out the same. And, Norman, why don't you provide some links to show how 'often' a couple has an unplanned baby.
  14. Actually there was a church in the Vancouver area that didn't want to rent it's hall to a Lesbian couple after it found out it was going to be a gay wedding. I can't remember the details now, but I think a court ruled on it.
  15. You're kind of scatter shooting, but as far as stem cell research goes, some people still feel uncomfortable with harvesting babys for their cells. I don't know why...
  16. No, the guy who got it through the access to information act hasn't bothered to let the unwashed masses actually touch it, apparently. He wants us to take his word for it. Aside from the fact they didn't do any of their own research, just handpicked studies they liked, and aside from the fact they only spent $25,000 on it, it seems pretty balanced. NOT To say that a child who is raised with two loving mothers is going to be exactly the same as one that has a mother father relationship is a crock. Two completely different recipes do not give you the exact same result.
  17. The title does not follow in the article. Diction and policy along with team member changes are not even close to what Stephen(ie) Harper is doing with his makeup. Yes, it's not immediately clear if Dion realizes that he looks like a school teacher. Hopefully along with the English lessons and not reading his questions from a list (something a school teacher would do), his handlers are going to do something about the way he looks. Other than that, the story says such things as: "...as he sets out to repair his battered image after narrowly escaping a spring election." "...bombarded with poor reviews of his performance." "...the Liberal Leader is responding to a wobbly spring performance..." "The revamping of the tactics and communications is a tacit admission that Mr. Dion had a troubled performance in early spring, senior insiders said." "He has accepted now that he needs to change." It actually sounds a whole lot worse than a simple make over. Good luck with that.
  18. And Atheists.
  19. Well uh, hmm, how nice for you. I'm afraid I have no such straight stories to regale you with, you cheeky monkey!
  20. Given their history, things could get nasty. I expect to see Buffalo running Emery and Neil.
  21. You can't debate rumours of what he might do. You can only debate what he has done or what he has announced he plans to do. I'm happy to debate what he has done. How about if we debate his voting to deny making it a hate crime to advocate or promote the killing of homosexuals? Maybe you harper harppies should get on the same page before you start debating. One claims Harper is more liberal than Martin, another claims he's a capital C conservative. Make up your minds!
  22. You don't seem to realize that Chretien did not get the boot because of broken promises. There's very little chance of that happening. Chretien won an election after promising to scrap the GST, and breaking that promise, so a difference in income trust strategy is not going to do it, I'm afraid. And with a small "l" leader like Dion, Harper is indeed within striking distance of a majority. I know that scares you, but then you're a left wing activist.
  23. How 'bout it's frickin' outrageous to put a baby with a wild animal?! The stupidest thing since Michael Jackson swung his baby from a balcony. What kind of hokey culture is it that allows babys to be treated this way?
  24. I was not curious as to gays in history, I know there are many. What I'm talking about is gays being accepted in cultures historically. Now the problem in objectively studying this is the recent attempt to rewrite history. All sorts of historical figures have been outed on the weakest evidence possible. There was even an attempt to say that Alexander the great was gay, like thousands of years after the fact they can actually PROVE it. But all that is besides the point. I'm wondering about ACTUAL cultures, not mere individuals. There seems to be few in history. What's this, tell me why you have pull with KD and Ellen. On second thought, maybe that would be too much info!
