All of the swing states are so close it's just ridiculous. But perhaps the weirdest thing is that the two chart lines are in lockstep. Trump goes up she goes up, she goes down trump goes down, it's almost exactly the same line for both of them. I kind of tells me that something is up with the poles or something. For them both to be basically a reflection of each other for this long with this much going on in the campaign seems really really unlikely

Harris's Prompter Goes Out
CdnFox replied to gatomontes99's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Either way she looks boned. The teleprompter cut out and she literally crashed and flaked out. If she comes apart and starts to stutter and repeat herself over a teleprompter failure, I think it's safe to say she's not the one we want answering that phone call at 3:00 am when there's a crisis. -
Our Incomes Are Falling Behind: Earnings in the Canadian Provinces and US States, 2010โ2022 (fraserinstitute.org) Short version, back in 2014 or so and earlier many of our provinces earned more on average per person than many states. Now every single state in the united states has a higher average income per person than every single one of our province's. In other words our very best is still worse than they're very worst. We've fallen so far behind it's not even funny. And yet our real estate prices and cost of living is higher than the US It is hard to fully understand exactly how much of a disaster the last 10 years have been for us. And how difficult it would be to catch up and regain what we've lost

CA Sues Hospital for Refusing Abortion
CdnFox replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
This isn't complex dude. It's fine for a woman to have a say in her OWN body - but not the body of another person. And at some point between egg and student debt the 'thing' becomes a person. And that person has rights. And it has always been recognized that the parents have a duty to provide the 'necessaries' of life. Sorry ladies, shouldn't have eaten that apple but here we are. Nothing to be done about it now. And therefore there has to be a serious and imminent threat to the mother to justify the killing of the child after whatever point we've decided it becomes a child. And where that point would be is NOT up to the mother or doctor. You're trying to obfuscate by pretending it's complex. It isn't. After a point it's a baby - no kill da baby. If there is a serious and immediate threat that the mother's life is in danger then if one of them is likely to die anyway there's no choice. Otherwise - no kill da baby. -
CA Sues Hospital for Refusing Abortion
CdnFox replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
The law can easily stipulate that it's when the life of the mother is physically at risk if the pregnancy continues. It's not hard You can't leave it up to the doctors beause as we've seen they'll do stupid things like say she'll be "emotionally hurt", which is not an excuse to end the life of a person. Then stick with the pregnancy till its more imminent. -

The Moment Vance Lost the Debate
CdnFox replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Translation: " i'm furious that he's not mad and so i'll pretend he is " The guy who spends an hour deleting his posts where he losta discussion on the internet and then spends hours chasing the guy who beat him around the forum trying desperately to beg him to be angry is probably the guy who's angry, not the guy who's laughing at him doing it I just fascinated to see how this ends. Will he actually delete his account? Will he turn around and decide to stay and attempt to blow it off that's just a temper tantrum? Does he even know? -

You associate laughter with anger because most of the time it's people laughing at you and that makes you angry And you assume everyone else must be angry because you're angry, because if that wasn't the case then that means there might be something wrong with you And you really don't want there to be something wrong with you , you want there to be something wrong with everyone else. I hope you prepared for disappointment.... LOL i genuinely am going to miss you, this has easily been one of the most hiarious and over the top reactions to losing a discussion i've seen just about anywhere and it's truly priceless There are hand grenades that don't go to pieces as fast as you It's both fascinating and interesting to watch and hilariously funny. I like some of the conversations here but honestly this kind of thing is what really makes it worth it , the complete mental meltdown and bizarre behavior. I appreciate the opportunity to watch it. I wish you all the best in the future after you delete your account. -
LOL - well i know you're not around as much sometimes and you may have missed it but that little admission is WAAAAY in the rear view mirror although in fairness he prefers the term NSDAP to nazi being the original german name and he makes the distinction that he supports 1939's NSDAP but that there isn't any such organization now so he wouldn't necessarily support neo-nazis. Which is fair.

The Moment Vance Lost the Debate

She said he stole the election. Hillary Clinton: Trump is an โillegitimate presidentโ - The Washington Post โhe knowsโ that he stole the 2016 presidential election So if she's the other candidate and he's illegitimate and stole the election then obviously she was the legitimate president who had the election stolen from her. Pretty damn hard to argue that isn't the case. And this mirrors what trump has said - biden stole the election and cheated and was not legitimate. If you're going to try some sort of columbo-style word weaseling don't waste either of our time. She said he was not the president. Trump says biden is not the president. Dance as you will it's the same thing. The difference between the two is she realized there was no way she could change the fact he was going to be announced as president and stopped trying (although she did wait unusually long to concede) whereas he didn't realize that he wasn't going anywhere with it and kept his dream alive by convincing hiself there was some sort of legal loophole he might find or that some magic evidence of fraud would appear etc. Which was dumb, it was over and that was that. But - it's trump and in his mind everything is about court. And lets be clear - this was all inevitable. Since the 2000's and even before people have been loosing faith in the US elections by leaps and bounds. Since 2000 the vast vast majority of the voters for whichever side lost believed it was 'rigged' somehow, and it's been getting worse. Both republicans and democrats have been undermining the public's trust in the institution and the voting system leaves itself more and more open to 'undetected' interference, so whether there was or wasn't it COULD be and you can't prove otherwise, which just begs people to assume the worst. As I have said many times unless this gets corrected substantially this problem is going to grow worse and worse until nobody has any belief in the electoral system and the obvious conclusion that comes from that is the only way your side can gain power is through force. At its heart, the democratic process is a way for the public to conduct peaceful revolutions to essentially overthrow the government without actually needing to overthrow the government. But if you make that peaceful revolution impossible, you make violent revolution inevitable. JFK said as much and he was quite right. -
Pete Buttigieg Ends Port Strike

You think they should be overpaid? -
I distinctly remember telling you to burn that word of the day calendar and only use words that you understand First off, not a fallacy. Second off only a lunatic would suggest that. Of course some are worse than others. A population of 100,000 being displaced is technically genocide now. Are you saying that's the exact same thing as gassing 11 million jews to death? Really? No difference. Don't be an imbecile. No, it was not to 'rid ourselves of the jews'. Which should be pretty bloody obvious considering that we still have Jews. It's ridiculous statement. " We spent tons and tons of our money to create a Homeland for the Jews so that we could get rid of them and then allowed them to stay no problem." Also, not a fallacy We break contracts with other countries all the time. We also terminate contracts with other countries all the time and renegotiate. So if that was your big point I think it fell on your butt there. Further whether you like it or not they accepted citizenship. And before that the deals they made were with the king. So I'm afraid any agreements are actually with Either citizens or a nation not Canada. So either way that doesn't stand up at all. And not a fallacy. Well that certainly didn't go very well for you. Did you have another argument you wanted to put forward?

LOL and here is another example of the left-wing being tolerant of gays. You think it's so terrible to be gay that it's a horrible insult to suggest that someone is. I should be horrified and offended because of course in your mind being gay is terrible. Unlike you i don't have any problem with gays. If i had a husband i'd have no problem saying so loud and proud. But i think it's interesting that a) here's ANOTHER letie who's got homosexual fantasies and repressed interest in male sex which they only feel safe bringing up by disguising it as an inappropriate joke And b) another in the growing pile of lefties who are actually secretly deeply homophobic. Scratch a leftie and underneath the paint they're driven by hatred, racism, homophobia and bigotry. Which is why they accuse others of it so much. Disappointing.

Pete Buttigieg Ends Port Strike
CdnFox replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
You mean give your side time to come up with an appropriate lie to explain why they said it was his work when actually it wasn't Reading the newspaper clippings on it it seems that virtually all of the democrats are claiming credit for it. Including Biden who says it's his victory. But a bunch of democrats of which Pete was one of many are "credited" as well as biden and a few others. Why would you claim that it was his victory alone as the op suggests? Oh that's right, I forgot the democrats are all about stolen valor -
