Well you'll find all kinds of interesting stuff there, but let me give you a little context to start you on your journey. Federal governments have noted that this was a problem for quite a while now. But basically what happens is each province is responsible for the sale of goods inside the province. That's a provincial issue. So the provinces have a habit of restricting other provinces products to make sure that their provinces products Are purchased first. They will also frequently ban the direct sale of products between provinces and if they do allow it they tariff it. A quick example - alberta has never allowed bc wineries to sell wine directly to albertans online. You had to sell it to an alberta liquor distributor who would then resell it. This is because alberta makes good money on taxes from the sale of booze and wants to keep their booze sellers in business. Recently they DID allow it in limited amounts, but they then substantially increased the interprovincial tariff so that it would be just as cheap to go buy it locally. All the provinces do this to one degree or another. It is very often cheaper to buy goods from the states, sometimes even the SAME goods where a province sells it to a us distributer who sells it back to another province cheaper that it would have been to buy direct from that province. The same problem happens with Certifications and Trades. Each province has it's own certification process. A registered nurse who trained in alberta did not do the same courses as one in BC. THe certifications are very different. So in MANY trades if you're "licensed" in one province you're NOT licensed in another and can't be till you take some species of 'upgrade' course or the like. That can seriously limit the ability of some companies to do business in multiple provinces easily. There are MANY such areas and they are all protected by some little beurocracy that wants to defend it's balliwack and is entirely resistant to any outside org trying to take it away. They defend their little 'kingdoms' to the death, and the provinces want the revenues. If all the trade barriers and mobility barriers were gone the province's industries would make so much more money that their revenues would be fine but that takes a leap of faith and most provinces and the ministries involved do not want to take that risk.

Subsequent to that time America severely benefited from and grew as a response to free trade with other nations. The trade deal with Canada made America a lot of money he gave him access to a lot of resources they desperately needed. I think the jury of people who don't like trump is in. Perhaps not surprisingly the people who do like trump have come to a different verdict Biden wasn't actually considered hard left at all, in fact he was basically elected to be the neutral quiet guy who didn't do anything. Some people called it the potted plant campaign, "I will sit in the corner and do nothing of any particularly contentious nature". Which, after 4 years of trump, is largely what the public was looking for. The problem is a lot of the people in his party were very strongly radically left, and as we now know Biden was already beginning to struggle with mental Clarity issues and was being driven by background forces as well as some of the more vocal people in the party. So I think he did what he was told and the people who told him things were in some part more radically left. And you can't compare Biden as president with Quebec separatists. Those are two radically different political environments that have almost nothing to do with each other and defy a direct comparison

To be entirely blunt I am stunned and amazed that the poles are not currently showing that both the house and the senate will flip. Right now it still looks like a big maybe. Was trump So low in the ratings the Democratsshould be running away with this and they're not. In the midterms most of the senate seats coming up are republican currently and they only need to flip about 15 of those to have control of the senate strong enough to actually impeach trump if they can get it done in the house. I would have thought that they would be spending every waking night and day right now as a party working as hard as possible to make that happen so that they can dump trump if they want and bring in his replacement who will be easier to manage. The democrat party seems utterly shattered at this moment and there's no white knight appearing to pull them all together that I can see. To be honest this is why I felt things like the ad that Ontario produced is one of the most effective ways to fight trump. It really does impact his midterm abilities if we're spending hundreds of millions in advertising in a way that indirectly pushes people to the democrats without looking like we're interfering and that ad was a perfect example of that. Honest to god I don't believe he is. I honestly don't believe he's actually an adult yet. There are a number of little things and also gaps in his knowledge that shouldn't be there for anybody who's as old as he says he was. I think maybe he knew someone or had a family member that served and remembers things that they said. If he wanted a pipelne then everyone knew what he had to do - repeal the no pipeline law and lift the tanker ban. Boom, embridge and others would be stepping up. But nope! He created an airy fairy "projects' buerocracy that costs billions per year just to run and passed a 'tinkerbell' law that says oil companies can operate IF AND ONLY IF the federal gov't 'really really believes in the project", which they won't say until after hundreds of millions are spent preparing the proposal. Yeah, turns out he's now making dozens of millions a year sitting on 'boards' of companies he funneled money to as prime minister, got a big fat pension and other perks, and dating a superstar. I'm sure he's really upset about his ass In fact all the bad guys are doing well. Freeland is landing a prime ambassy job with ukraine where she'll make hundreds of thousands plus perks for doing nothng AND just took a job at the same time as a consultant because of her political connections that will pay millions.
