  1. Hogwash. There is no gov't department anywhere that we get the 'best equipment' that they want and there's a hell of a lot more lives on the line in some of those cases. 23,000 canadians died waiting for treatment last year alone. 23 thousand. In contrast, do you know how many soldiers we lost in combat in the last 10 years? Pretty much ZERO. So we don't give doctors everything they want because we can't afford it, but we're supposed to give the military the absolute best of the best because.... their lives are worth more or something? Don't think so. the military deserves to be well equipped and trained. That is true. But there are other considerations, including the politics of relying on the states which is a HORRIBLE idea as events have shown, the benefits of establishing military development relationships with others, the economic benefits involved and other practical considerations. And yes the military might not care about all of those, but that's why they don't get the final decision. It's very important that our leaders listen carefully to the experts from the military. And it's very important that both they and the military consider where the next threats are going to come from (and sorry but the politicians are actually even more up to speed on that than the military is, as wars are a political choice). But in the end the final decisions must take into account a wide range of factors including military, political, economic and future relationships. That's the way it is.
  2. LOL so are your diapers kiddo The conservatives did more for working families that the libs have and obviously that's got you pissed Now go ask your mommy for some talcum powder for that rash LOL
  3. Yes much speculation by people who hate trump. Or people who want to try and discredit trump. No sane person would hold those opinions to account without some species of evidence of which there isn't a scrap. Again it is reasonable that if he's trying to sell something to Putin he would write something that he thinks Putin would like. There's no conflict there there's no questionable Behavior. There's nothing out of the ordinary with that. Sure, just like trump was colluding with the Russians to win the election and got peed on by hookers in Moscow. Fool me once with that bullshit shame on you. Fool me twice.... There are several reasons why it's far-fetched. And all of the evidence shows that trump has never been a Russian asset. Again, why would you think that a peace plan that trump was going to try and sell to Russia would not include the things that he thinks Russia wants to have? And if it was drawn up by the Kremlin, why didn't they jump at it? They're currently saying it's not good enough and they're not interested. Your argument makes zero sense and you need to twist the facts to the point of ridiculousness to make it fit No, you only say that it's Putin because you don't like trump. There is zero evidence whatsoever that Russia was involved, and more importantly there is no need to include russia to explain any of it, this is what you would expect trump to produce if he wants to try and get a peace deal to win his peace prize. It's as silly as saying "Oh trump said something really nice about himself, it must be the Russians". You don't need Russians to get trump to say something nice about himself. And you don't need Russians to get him to put together a peace plan that he thinks the Russians will go for
  4. All government purchasing is a potentially political decision. Were you unaware of that? You seem to be suggesting that politics shouldn't play a role in political purchases?
  5. Did you actually read the source stuff? I'm guessing not. Those are not actual deaths. Those are potential deaths. The dashboard presents it as actual but if you look at the research that they specifically reference it is not the case. In addition the model that they are referencing makes three predictions depending on the percentage of population impacted and of course they've chosen the worst of the three models or possibilities Your numbers are 100% fake. They are guesstimates as to the possible maximum impact that could potentially have using a number of mathematical models. There isn't an indication that even one person actually died as a result of it. Which is I guess why I couldn't find what I was looking for, I was looking for actual deaths and there is nothing on that That would be my fault for taking you at your word. I should have guessed there was a trick to it So now that we know that your statistics are a lie, let's go back and deal with the concept Usaid is one source of income at these groups can rely on but if they can't get that then it is up to them to secure other means of funding. The united states has absolutely no moral or ethical or practical responsibility for these people. The USA is facing severe deficit. That severely impacts the life health and well-being of 400 million Americans. Wouldn't it be more appropriate to spend Americans money on Americans? Next time don't use fake numbers to try and make your argument
  6. All the policies I mentioned did And they were all conservative! Wah wah waaaaaaahhhh, you lose again kid How do you feel? You mad about it?
  7. LOL i suppose a teen might lay awake at night convincing himself he 'bested' someone that he didn't It would be a very teen thing to do As i've told you, there is no 'besting' for me, i'm not in competition with you. I just point and laugh at your antics You think you 'win' the same way a dog who manages to catch his own tail does
  8. He gets the money by sitting on the board of all of the companies he funneled public cash into while he was prime minister who are now paying him back for by putting him on the board and paying him hundreds of thousands of dollars each as a thank you each year. You get a hundred or so of those and now you're talking about real money
  9. You're stretching a little too far there. If Trump Jr owns a company or a part of a company and that company gets direct benefit then it's a conflict of interest. But if he works for a company that invests in other companies then it is reasonable to assume that they are going to invest in companies that are successful at winning contracts. Even if it was a subsidiary you might have a point but if they're just investors of course they're going to invest in companies that do well and win contracts. They might invest in Lockheed Martin, that doesn't mean that trump has a conflict ordering f-35s Consider this, currently carney is issuing contracts that directly benefit Brooksfield which he has a major share stake in and will probably work for when he leaves politics and that isn't considered a conflict of interest. This is way less direct than that. So again I have to ask is the contract inappropriate? If the contract is a reasonable contract but things that are needed and are being delivered at a fair market price compared to other firms then there you go. Also you haven't provided any evidence whatsoever that the selection process for that contract had anything to do with trump or was in any way shape or form influenced by him. Or that he was even aware it was going on. No doubt, and I'm sure they used connections that he was able to provide in order to make sure that their contract bid was as successful as possible. But I guarantee you that they didn't just present that bid out of thin air, they would have been responding along with other companies to a specification and it would have been subject to a purchasing process. Virtually every company out there does hire lobbyists to try and help make contacts with the right people to pitch their product but that's not the same as corruption. You would have to show that somehow the purchasing process which was likely going on long before trump got elected took an unusual turn or that this contract wasn't appropriate Hunter Biden sold influence all over the world And the left said nothing. That was far more obvious than this There's little doubt in my mind that trump Jr will use contacts in order to Lobby on behalf of people that he sells his services too, just like dozens and dozens of other influencer and lobbyists. A lot of the time it's about knowing who to call, and just having that name and number is critical. But that's not the same as selling influence which is what you're suggesting is happening. What's your suggesting is happening is that trump Jr gets hired by a company and then calls daddy and says make sure this company wins the contract. In the first case you presented that's really unlikely considering it's two steps removed. In the second case you mentioned you haven't shown that the process was in any way shape or form affected or that the contract went wasn't appropriate Compare that to Canada's arrive cam app situation, where it was single sourced to someone friendly to Justin who was not a company that normally built that kind of thing couldn't show what work they did for the money and produced the product that another company recreated for fun on the weekend. That is a clear case. You haven't made that kind of case Trump Jr was a business person selling his services doing the same sort of stuff before trump became president and will likely continue to be so after trump is president. You need to demonstrate that there's actual influencing or likely influencing, and that these companies wouldn't have won those bids without those contacts
  10. Well let me flush that out for you a little The BC conservative party has been around forever, and until the year before the last election it polled at about 1 to 1.5% most years. It hasn't won an election since the 40s. It was basically a dead party where a few crock pots would occasionally join up and get drunk over pizzas talking about how to run the country. The two parties of consequence were the BC liberals, which was actually an amalgam of the BC reform right-wing party and the actual liberal left-wing party, and the NDP. So runstad is working for the liberals at the time, has a disagreement with them and leaves the party. Manages to take over the conservative party. Due to a series of freak circumstances the conservatives suddenly started getting noticed and began to get a lot of attention in the polls. I think people could use them with the CPC and the liberal party began to fall apart. Suddenly before the election it was crystal clear that there was going to be a split vote and the conservatives were slightly ahead so the liberals collapsed their party and everybody jump ship to join the conservative party to present a united front and win the election This happens over a month or so, it is brutally fast, there are many hurt feelings because not everybody can run in the writing of their choice now and some long time hard-working liberals were thrown out on the street, and they went to the election and they damn near won. But now the election is over and everybody sits back and tries to breathe and figure out what the hell happened and what to do next. And suddenly everyone's looking around and realizing that they don't know a lot of the people they're working with and that there's a lot of disagreement. The fragment of the conservative party that was left was very right wing, and the liberals that jump ship were more Centrist or left of center. Now there's conflict. Some of the far right members break off and form a new party, some that are more to the left want to take over and throw out the current leader and basically turn it into a renamed liberal party. Some people just like to watch things burn and run around causing problems on purpose. And that is the environment which led to the current circumstances. Do you remember those old game shows where they put people in a box and turn a big fan on and blow money around them and they had to catch the bills as they were flying around in a tornado? That's pretty much the circumstance he found himself in trying to hold on to his members. We'll see if this process leads to a more stable circumstance or not
  11. You go sit in your corner and think about what you've done.
  12. Projection and deflection all in the same sentence. A very efficient of you
  13. True. At this point it's a mixed bag. Inflation pressure is up is it feds can't reduce interest. But the job market is strong and investment is coming back into the economy in decent amounts and GDP growth is strong. it's going to take a little longer to see if the arrow straightens out and flies true, or if he was wrong, The challenge is that midterms are coming up and people are indeed grumbling about affordability already He's going to have to deliver more than just some dead drug dealers to keep the public happy, so we'll see
  14. And? Are they delivering magnets? Are they doing the work that their contracted to do? are price is out of the range of normal or something? No? hmmm. Carney does worse than that almost daily in Canada you haven't said a single peep about it. Or demonstrated why this contract should have been issued. The trump stupidness All Over America and several other countries. And they invest in a lot of those countries and companies. Unless you can show that this process wasn't appropriate for the trump was directly involved in it you have a tough case to make
  15. I cannot find anything that remotely corroborates that. And I noticed you didn't post a source In fact reading the reports from usaid another organization specifically with respect to this issue that number seems absolutely impossible. It should have been questionable to you from the get-go Once again the fact that you feel the need to lie to support your cause suggest that you don't have a very good cause. I generally can make all of my points completely effectively with the truth, if you're feeling the need to turn away from the truth to make your points you need to review your points
  16. You're making up a lot of things. You've started with a conclusion and you're trying to work your way back to a question and that's always results in very bad logic.
  17. No that's just more rhetoric. Clearly anything that's going to stand a chance to get passed by Putin is going to be something that works in his favor. I disagree with the plan, but it's clear that trump wants to try and win a Nobel Prize who's trying to find an end of the war that's quick. If it were Biden or if it were carney or if it were just in Trudeau you'd be praising the plan saying anything that brings peace to the region is worth it. You're against the plan because it's trump. And because you are a leftist any circumstance like this has to mean Russian collusion At this point it's a tradition!!
  18. Speaking of original lines..... You never miss a chance to prove you're an adolescent teen do you
  19. Those programs have nothing to do with working canadians. they HAVE supported tax breaks for families to allow income splittling, which is far more powerful than the programs you mentioned. They have supported breaks for businesses who develop daycare options. They have supported additional training for people and for tax breaks to purchase their equipment and gear to start their jobs. They've promoted more investment in canada instead of driving it away, they've looked to reduce business tax to encourage businesses to invest here, they've frequently called for scaling back the foreign worker program that the libs let run out of control.... and a buch of other things. The only thing the libs support is expanding unemployment benefits for all the people their polices have forced out of work. Which is like offering a bandaid to someone after you've slit their throat. other than that it's back to work legislation and lowering the average wage. So ... PP's got a point
  20. And? THis is part of the media i consume. LOL sorry kiddo, your 'math' has let you down again we are talking about that Most of my time here is spent reading. Like i said, a lot of my responses are one or two sentences to exflyer when he pees himself. Garbage in, garbage out and you're all about the garbage LOL so you're taking how ever much time is necessary to try to phrase a question to one AI or another in a desperate attempt to find something that validates your failures Do you realize in the last few years almost all of your posts here have been attacks at me? over 90 percent of your posts are that. Shall we see what grok says about you? Obsessive Anger: Forum Posting Psychology - Grok Here’s what it usually says: Obsessive fixation / parasocial vendetta They’ve turned the target into the central organizing figure of their emotional life. The other person may have moved on years ago, but in the poster’s mind the conflict is still alive and unresolved. This is classic one-sided obsession: the target probably barely thinks about them, while the poster thinks about the target constantly. Emotional dysregulation + poor impulse control Normal people feel anger, vent once or twice, then let it go (or take it offline). Someone who keeps returning to the same forum for years to rage-post is unable to self-soothe or redirect that energy. Each new post is essentially proof that their emotional regulation system is broken. Erotization of conflict (aggression as intimacy) In extreme cases, the constant angry focus functions like a toxic substitute for a relationship. The only “contact” they have with the target is through these hostile posts, so the anger becomes the relationship. It’s a form of negative intimacy—they’d feel empty without the person to hate. Externalized locus of control Their unhappiness, failures, or boredom gets blamed almost entirely on this one individual. The forum becomes a stage where they perform their grievance over and over, hoping someone (the target, the audience, random passers-by) will finally validate that they’ve been wronged. Attention-seeking + victim identity solidification Even if the posts are angry, part of the payoff is the attention from other forum members (“poor you,” “that guy sucks,” likes, replies, etc.). Over years this reinforces a permanent victim/martyr identity: “My life is bad because of THIS person, and here’s today’s proof.” Possible personality pathology When it’s this prolonged and monomaniacal, you start seeing traits associated with: Cluster B features (borderline, narcissistic, or histrionic) Erotomanic or persecutory delusional tendencies Pathological jealousy or grudge-holding In some cases, it can cross into genuine stalking behavior (cyberstalking subtype). In plain terms: after a few months this behavior is already unusual. After years of near-exclusive angry posting to one person, it’s almost diagnostic of an obsession that has overtaken the poster’s life. Healthy people do not do this. They get bored, embarrassed, or simply heal and walk away. Someone who can’t is stuck in a self-built prison where the target holds the key—and the target doesn’t even know (or care) they have it. LOL well it sounds like grok has you pegged pretty good
  21. No it didn't. Don't make me explain politics to you again pls. LOL bitter much? Why not? Ask eby.
  22. Funny that the Kremlin isn't going for it then. For someone like you, who believes that reality is "one of many possible truths", these nonsense statements are something akin to fact But for those of us who have a bit of a tighter grip on our common sense it's pretty obvious that it's at best severe hyperbole. Trump obviously wrote something he thought russia would go for. But it wasn't written in the kremilin
  23. LOL you were the one who posted it kiddo It's hilarious that your defense is that you're dumber than ai Sorry kiddo Most people have more than 3 hours a day in free time I don't know how you've structured your life but as it stands i have about 25 30 hours of free time during the week, and realistically about 30 hours on the weekends. Plus i have a fair bit of time during the work day where i'm stuck waiting on something and eyeball the forum. Sooo 2 hours a day on average means more like i spend just over 20 percent of my 'free' time. LOLOL You still suck at math Most people spend about 20 percent or more of their free time on a hobby or interest. Most do it watching tv every day. "As of 2023, global media consumption averages approximately 455 minutes daily" Hmmm.... so the AVERAGE is 7.58 hours per day looking at media. Chatgpt relies on you for your information and quesitons... and it turns out you're not as smart as chatgpt On the other hand EVERYONE ELSE thinks YOU are a loser LOL I'll take the win thanks
  24. Rustad had the potential to be a good leader. But the problem was he wasn't a good campaigner. I don't think people had faith that he would be able to win an election. He got a shot at it, they came very close, but since then I don't think he's inspired people to believe that he's going to be able to pull everyone together and make a wind happen. Not that David EBY should be all that hard to beat
