This is why the verdict was so enormous: Trump defamed Carroll numerous times after the verdict was handed down, including during the trial. This lead the jury to award a large punitive damage of $65 million, because without such a large verdict, it’s obvious that Trump would continue to defame her. You really think this guy is rational and sane?

We were building a ship almost every week… Henry Kaiser alone was launching new ships in as little as 4 1/2 days! Roosevelt managed to spend $2 billion building the atomic bomb in complete secrecy. Congress and even his own VP didn’t know he was doing it, and that’s on top of everything else. He was the greatest leader America ever had. There’s never been anything like him before or since. Ronald Reagan idolized the man.

The orange dickless wonder is out $88.3 million for lying. Maybe you shouldn’t believe a man who’s a convicted liar. And later this week, the other New York Shoe is gonna drop on Trump, to the tune of $250 to $500 million, for fraud. The Senate passed an immigration bill that the President will sign. The House Republicans are refusing to take it up. Cause Trump told them not to, because politics matters more than solving problems.

Texas isn’t going to secede from the United States. This is all talk and false bravado. They want to distract people’s attention away from what’s important so they manufacture conflicts and pretend there’s a crisis which only they can solve. If the GOP thought there was an urgent immigration crisis that needed attention, they would pass legislation to do something about it, wouldn’t they? Instead, it’s a “crisis” which they have deliberately chosen to manufacture. Biden lets refugees in because the law requires it. The law requires it because the Republicans refuse to change it. And you think this will lead to armed conflict? Geez.

When I was at university, I was leaving a comp sci lecture when a physics-major friend came in, saw me, and told me to grab a seat right away. It was a 350-seat lecture hall. Then come people came in and cordoned off the first two rows, and my friend explain those seats were for the Nobel laureates (my school had a lot of them).
