All he needs to do is get convicted of the four DC charges or the Georgia charges and he’s going to jail for life, after getting all of his cash drained. And filing civil appeals won’t help, because he still needs to put up cash bonds to cover the damages if he appeals. A cash bond isn’t a normal 10% jail bond; it has to be backed up by a mortgage-free property or with pure cash. I doubt Trump has $83 million in mortgage-free real estate and he certainly doesn’t have another $250 million of it. His promises of appeal are probably empty threats.

Trump’s the one in a panic. He just lost $88 million and he’s about to have his ass handed to him by Judge Engoron. And Trump is facing 91 felony charges. A conviction in only one of those four cases can put him in jail for the rest of his life.

I see. Trump’s “remain in Mexico” policy was only permitted as part of the Covid emergency. When the Covid emergency ended, courts ruled that the policy was no longer allowed. That’s why Biden immediately asked Congress to PASS LAWS (it’s their f-ing job, after all), but the House GOP still refuses to pass one, because Trump wants immigration to get worse so he can pretend to be a hero. Trump is causing the problem.
