God bless our monarch - Queen Elizabeth
ExFlyer replied to I am Groot's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
doogie, no one gives a shit about you and your incessant videos except those your wife and a long dead shrivled up ex queen and they probably are unaware of how big a loser you are. Worshipping a murderer, as torturer and an d now ,a corpse, how much more of a loser can you get LOL -
Michael , you are wasting your time discussing this with anti vaxxers. There is no changing their embedded thoughts. They feed of each other LOL. Of the 1.6K posts, it is stroking, patting on the back, and sexual enjoyment by a half a dozen or so posters LOL Anti vaxxers are, well, just that, anti most things. They will always come up with something to dispute. The recent outbreak of measles and the unfortunate death of a child from measles was all in unvaccinated persons. Measles, a disease virtually wiped out with vaccinations is back. I visit here to see that things have not changed. The group is what they are and will always be

Why so many MPs based on our population?
ExFlyer replied to exPS's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I worked as a Military member and a Public Servant. I agree with your sentiment but you as an exPS, must know why it is what it is. It is what it is because you, the public demand it. You can than the unions, the ones you chose, for the high salary and benefits. You are 100% to blame for that and 100% grateful for the compensation they negotiated for you. As an exPS, you are, or should be, aware of why there are all these "countless and useless departments". The public, (you) demanded them. Governments (all governments, new and old and very old of all political parties) do what you ask. You demand ethics to be upheld, hence an ethics department....which will be disagreed with if the determination is not in your wheelhouse LOL. CRTC, implemented by Joe Clark, is there to protect Canada form foreign invasion of our airwaves LOL It has since become a place where people complain about how much louder the commercials are than the actual programs LOL CBC is and has been a needed effort to ensure all of Canada gets radio/tv. With the advent of internet, the mandate is still there but not as valuable. Is it still needed, well, depends on where you live. I can assure you that any government will not make new departments for the fun of it. They are born on the basis of public complaint and demand. Once established, they are near impossible to shut down because the public are used to getting something from them. Are there useless departments, I think so but the ones dependent on them will argue with you. As an exPS, you , of all people, should know why public servants are spinning their wheels and often only keeping the process wheels turning...because you, as the public, demanded it. -

If Airborne were the best soldiers you ever knew, then you did not serve long enough and sufficiently to really know anyone. Listing military personnel that have passed away is fruitless. I can name a dozen SAR techs and Pilots and Engineers that passed away in the line of duty too. The list is very very long. Trying to deflect from your worshipping 2 murderers and torturers is also fruitless. You friggen loser. If she listens to you at all (and believed any of your BS) , she would be pleased to move to the Republic of the United States....and then go LOL -

British, Smitish, English, engand, great britain, monarchy...all the same shit and you lap it up loser. British shit started in 12000 or thereabouts with the magna carta. Or maybe even earlioer, in 1066. Non of which is important to Canada so, as I said, F off and go worship your murderers and torturers at your basement shrine. -
meh. The story was on the news, in the paper and on TV...whaddya mean no one picked up the story? Shit happens in prisons all the time. How you could even turn this into a left/right thing is the real crime LOL

Oh F Off doogie. We ain't british and haven't been for a very long tome, thank goodness. -
Meh ... AI thanks you. Your dissection of it proves you do not understand at all LOL
-
I understand your frustration, but I must respectfully disagree with your uninformed arguments. While it's true that last year's inflation contributes to this year's prices, the causes of inflation are complex and multifaceted, and cannot be solely attributed to government spending, immigration, or taxes. Furthermore, the relationship between interest rates and inflation is not a straightforward one-way correlation. Inflation is a global phenomenon, and it's crucial to consider international trends and economic factors when analyzing our own economic situation.
-
1. Inflation is world wide, hence an international issue. If you are a buyer instead of a producer, you pay the going price. 2. Burning fossil fuels...whatever is doing that. Cows and pigs do not run on fossil fuels LOL 3. I am not pushing an agenda, just responding to your posts. Take em if you want or leave em if you want....changes nothing, they are fact. 4. My point isl, if you boycott, at least you should know the facts and understand all the facts.
-
Aaaaand away you go. I post relevant new links and you dig up old shit and think you are on top of things. What a laugh. Wake up....it's today, not last year LOL Oh and this is not an argument, mine are relevant current facts and links
-
Yeah OK. I won't argue with you. The links are very relevant as they show todays inflation rates for many countries and we are not so bad. But hey, you always know better
-
As I showed in the links, Canada is doing quite well keeping inflation low Could we do better yes but, as primarily a consumer country as opposed to manufacturing country we are at the mercy of the selling country. We pay more hence, our inflation is up. Using the example of cumulative inflation is actually meaningless as we do get raises (or get to stay home and pretend to work ). It depends how far back you want to go to cumulatively express inflation. It was waaay cheaper 5 years ago, 10 years ago 20 years ago. Inflation is what it is and as I said, being a consumer and buying everything, we are beholding to other countries.
-
1. Really? Just responding to your whine about how bad inflation is. Showing inflation is an international issue. Inflation in other countries affects us here in Canada considering we are buyers, not builders. 2. Yeah, OK. cow and pig farts LOL Farts are a distant problem. Maybe people farts are part of the problem too LOL "Fossil fuels – coal, oil and gas – are by far the largest contributor to global climate change, accounting for over 75 per cent of global greenhouse gas emissions and nearly 90 per cent of all carbon dioxide emissions. " 3. Where and why you do your groceries is up to you. If you want to buy them cheaper, then you will not go to your local farmers markets. The local farmers market gets its produce frm the same supplier as the chain stores,it is not any better than the chains. During the harvest season local markets charges far more than the chain stores and if you are willing to pay them, then you really have no basis to complain about chain (Loblaws) prices.
-
1 Actually, we in Canada are doing quite well when it comes to inflation. better than many. https://tradingeconomics.com/country-list/inflation-rate https://www.cfr.org/tracker/global-inflation-tracker 2. Not sure what "heavy handed hand outs" are What money are we throwing? So, carbon tax, which everyone, individuals, businesses and corporations pay is "redistributing wealth" fro m the middle class only? 3. I do not want to get into cow and pig farts. I will let you run with that one LOL Not sure what politicians (of all stripes) are deflecting. Bottom line, Loblaws, and all other grocery stores buy it's products from out of country sources and they pay what is costs. We, in Canada have a very short harvest season and when we do, our farmers charge us so much we buy imported because it is cheaper. If you decide to go to local markets and willing pay way more for your products when in season, then you have no right to complain about Loblaw (or any other grocery store) prices.

Why? Just because I am not monarchist?? The Americans have their very own, made by them, system. Not hanger ons to the knights of the round table LOL You must be Sir Canadalot -
Global warming is another topic but....the carbon taxing to lessen our use of carbon based fuels ties into everything. The thing is, as this topic is named "Loblaws Boycott" people forget or do not understand the effect of carbon taxing. Everything and I mean everything in the supply chain from the tractor fuel to plow the fields, the fertilizer truck to feed the dirt, to the seeds and harvest etc etc affects the cost of our grocery products. Oh and, then there is the cost of labour too. And not even including the expenses the suppliers and stores themselves have to absorb. My point is, boycotting Loblaws is show business and useless at best. Loblaws will say things to appease but nothing will change. Lastly, the entire world is experiencing inflation.

Monarchy Pffft. Parlaiment wants to be productive instead of bickering, find out a way to cut the British apron strings....completely. -
I hope you succeed but, statistics say, you will continue to drink and will probably re-offend (may not get caught but....). Unfortunately, I know several folks that are/were in your situation and once the punishment was over...back to normal.
-
Who are you talking about? Or, what comment sparked this response?
-
doogie, you have far too much to say for a part and short time quitter that worships torturers and murderers.

Not sure what it is that you are trying to say Michael. I tried to give you my examples of wait times. Yes, peoples wants and desires have changed and they assume they can do what they want and not understanding the consequences Don't want to work nights and who cares about the people having to stay or visit hospitals at night.. Todays government managers have no one to manage...they are all pretending to be working from home. The government does not manage the economy, the market manages the economy. We pay more because the vendors charge more because it cost them more. We are an importing country so, if things cost more, it is because where we get things from cost more.
