The trend especially in the public service is to be stacking executive level positions with natives or foreigners. They excuse this behavior by claiming they are fighting something that's basically made up by raging left wingers to justify behavior. Average white people are overlooked by someone if they happen to claim they like having sex with a person with the same genitalia or are from a foreign country despite being born here and having no real alternatives. Discrimination against average people is becoming the norm to signal virtue to leftists despite having the credentials for the job. Just got finished listening to the leader of the Sask NDP, who may have been menstruating, cry about how Danielle Smith was mean to immigrants. In reality, unchecked immigration without appropriate support or systems in place, ie overcrowding of schools and hospitals by even a fraction of a percentage and all the sudden we all have to act like we are handicapped by wearing a dirty rag on our face during a bad flu season and pretend like this is actually doing something. Again I have no issue with it being a tax. It shifted some of the burden onto China where they have offered slave wages and then sell into the largest market in the world while shifting the tax burden to the American citizen. They will share at least some of the tax burden now.

I don't disagree its a tax, though think those who use the services i.e shipping ports or roadways to move goods and services around should be paying a proportionate % of how much they benefit from these services. If they feel they can offload some of that onto people using the services, then that will be between them and the consumer to determine how much of that they are willing to take on. Being able to offshore jobs and then not pony up when you want to sell your product back to the place you just screwed over is dumb. Then making them alone pay increase in taxes while you suck the tit of the taxpayer... no thanks. Tariffs = free market.

Not really. The big ticket for conservatives is to end taxation. This ruling can now be used to target all sorts of Democrat policies like Covid mandates, taxation, etc. It restores the balance of power that's been lost under the previous administrations
