  1. Carney loves Canada more than Singh hates Poilievre but less than Trump loves Putin.
  2. Get along by capitulating to Russian aggression? That seems wrong to me. Is that fine with you, to capitulate to a regime that invades a sovereign country? It sounds like @August1991 would have given in to Hitler’s demands.
  3. I’ve seen literal white supremacists here. Was @Black Dog worse than that?
  4. Who said anything about Trump? Or are you just making excuses for the potential Con disaster.
  5. Canada is the only G7 country not to have high-speed rail. It’s about time.
  6. Not even an attempt at a honest discussion? You made the claim. Why can’t you even define your terms?
  7. What would happen if an atheist were on the ballot?
  8. Just the thought of the unknown fella in Canadians’ minds has caught the Libs up to the Cons in the polls and spurred the National Post to write 10 op-eds a day. 5 op-eds telling us he’s Trudeau and 5 op-eds espousing the manly qualities of PP. How do you define “traitor”, because it’s certainly not the definition from the criminal code.
  9. I forgot, you speak in gibberish and YouTube.
  10. You think Canada should be reserved for people of a certain colour?
  11. The Cons were up 26 points. They absolutely prayed that Trudeau would keep going as PM. Were they only ahead because of Trudeau's lack of popularity? It sure seems like that was the case. There will be an election in March.
  12. The PCs are dead. That moderate, big tent party is long gone. Is that maybe part of the problem? You don’t think the Cons need to do anything but wait? Isn't that what they’ve been doing? Why would you do the same thing and expect a different result?
  13. Lots of opinion, no facts. This reads like a very scared rightwing party puff piece.
  14. Poor Poilievre. I almost feel sorry for him. What can the CPC do to turn around their down slide? Maybe less slogans and more concrete answers? Appeal more to the mainstream voter and stop with the fringe nonsense? https://www.ipsos.com/en-ca/liberals-take-lead-first-time-since-2021
  15. Trump’s crazy rhetoric has been a huge boost to the Libs. They seem to be closing in on the Cons. Tells me that the Canadian public doesnt necessarily agree that Poilievre is some sort of “bulldog” who can oppose Trump.
  16. Sure. Or maybe the Team Canada hockey team was used by God to tell America “no”.
  17. So you are not in any way prevented from worshipping however you want. Good to know. Sounds like you’re making a big deal out of nothing then, maybe? So you’re upset that you can’t force your religion on the rest of us?
  18. This is Canada. I’m not sure you really are aware of what happens here, judging by your post. No one is restricted from praying. You’re making that up (lying is a sin…. Including hyperbolic exaggerations). COVID restrictions? 😂 You people are too much. Religious symbols include all religions and only to public servants in one province. And it’s likely not constitutional anyway. The law school ignored the Canadian constitution. Law schools can’t ignore the law and be fit to teach law. Also, not having a particular law school has nothing to do with my question. You really stretched to find all that drivel.
  19. How are you being prevented from practising your religion?
  20. Freeland may have saved the Liberals from decimation by “turning on Trudeau”. Polls have the Libs closing in on the Cons significantly. This would not have been the case with Trudeau as the Lib leader/PM.
  21. After 4 years of Biden…
  22. Probably a good idea. It’s an archaic idea. Like the right to bear arms.
  23. Crimes by migrants are less frequent than crimes by citizens. An increase immigration correlated to a drop in property crime. First, new immigrants do not have a significant impact on the property crime rate, but with time spent in Canada, a 10% increase in the recent-immigrant share or established-immigrant share decreases the property crime rate by 2% to 3%. Neither underreporting to police nor the dilution of the criminal pool by the addition of law-abiding immigrants can fully explain the size of the estimates. This suggests that immigration has a spillover effect, such as changing neighbourhood characteristics, which reduces crime rates in the long run. https://crdcn.ca/publication/immigration-and-crime-evidence-from-canada/
  24. You’d think it was obvious. I’m trying to have a conversation about faith with you and the difference between beliefs based on faith.
  25. Is that a difficult question to answer?
