  1. Yes, that’s it. Without that, we leave nothing but a mess for future generations to pay to clean up.
  2. You think we could supply enough oil to drive down world prices? If we could, why wouldn’t OPEC turn down the taps to drive the price back up?
  3. You think people should be canceled for telling jokes? Chiang told an offensive joke and is no longer a Liberal candidate. Weren’t conservatives against cancel culture?
  4. Three candidates removed by the Cons in one day! https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.7499684 Singh is the third candidate the Tories dropped on Tuesday, following the ouster of Mark McKenzie in southwestern Ontario and Stefan Marquis in Montreal. The Conservatives did not share a reason for why they dropped Singh, merely confirming that he was dropped as a candidate in a one-line email to CBC News.
  5. Trump hates losers. Soldiers who are captured are losers. Politicians behind in polls who might lose an election are losers. Trump likes to be seen backing a winner to stroke his own ego. Hence his “support” for Carney.
  6. Two Con candidates turfed by their party in one day. https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/article/conservatives-drop-second-election-candidate-in-one-day/
  7. You’d be extolling the virtues of his business and economic experience and claiming he’s a great Conservative and not a career politician like the other bums. I would still be saying that he’s too conservative for my liking, just like now.
  8. You think energy prices would go down? We don’t have price controls in Canada. We would be paying “world prices” for our energy, just like we do now.
  9. Poilievre speaks of men buying a house before the man’s dick goes limp….   Oh wait…. That wouldn’t be appropriate.

    1. I am Groot

      I am Groot

I don't know about you, chum, but most men don't get limp dicked even into their 70s.

  10. First, the PC party is dead. But here’s the projection for Ontario: 338Canada.com
  11. SaskPower? How are they all screwed up?
  12. Agreed. This is not good policy by Carney, in my opinion. But, I’m not a conservative voter. Environmental issues are probably my biggest concern when I vote.
  13. I heard David Frum on YouTube (Hub Canada channel) talking about that as a strength of Canadian politics, not a weakness. Why not steal popular ideas from the opposition if Canadians want to see those policies implemented?
  14. Not ignored. We just disagree. That’s what elections are for; to see whose vision for the country gets to be implemented. Your favoured vision has been a losing one. My favoured vision has also been a losing one, since I never voted Liberal. Although, I think some of the legislation has been better than what the Conservatives would have passed, overall. Carney is way too conservative for me, but I vote on who I think will best represent my riding. Party politics don’t really matter to me as much as the candidate.
  15. What do you think PP should do to turn the tide and appeal to more of the electorate?
  16. Even the NP admits reality…. What do they say about a broken clock? Pierre Poilievre dismisses calls for 'pivot' as Liberals increase lead in polls https://nationalpost.com/news/politics/federal_election/pierre-poilievre-election-strategy-liberal-polls
  17. They closed it down! The migrants were shipped back to the USA. How is that a step in the right direction?
  18. Agreed. Damaging though? Probably not. Weren’t Conservatives against “cancel culture” and wanted people to be free to tell jokes even if they offend? Hmmm…. I guess I was mistaken about conservatives yet again. They actually do think there should be dire consequences for offending jokes!
  19. Conservatives used to love this label. Now they flipped and love that PP is a career politician since he was a little boy and hate Carney’s private sector experience and economic expertise. How did that happen?
  20. And that’s a success to you? 😂
  21. You think it has been a great success then? Where are they all? What happened to the grand plan to bring them there?
  22. Undocumented, or whomever the 30,000 were to be sent there.
  23. U.S. Has Spent $40 Million to Jail About 400 Migrants at Guantánamo What happened? Where are the migrants?
