How are Canadians liking Donald now?
herbie replied to CrakHoBarbie's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
You can easily identify The Illiterati by their incessant variations of I know you are but what am I? as the only response their 9 yr old intellect can respond with. And then gloating over how clever that was. -
The bill requires assessments for environmental, health, social and economic impacts and the rights of Indigenous people. And that offends you? Poilievre pledged to enact all five demands from Canada’s energy sector, including repealing Bill C-69. Playing Hawk Tuah girl for Big Oil is the 'economic solution' for Canada? To hell with the best interests of the people affected or the environment? That's why I say F*ck you to the Conservatives.

Maybe soon your kids can break up ships in their bare feet on your favourite beach for $12 a month! Yay !

Experiencing Technical Difficulties

The dishwashers are too heavy to toss out and buy another $1000 one to bring home in a backpack. HTG so many ppl think whey spend $200 to fix it when I can buy a new one for $300. Then they go find out A) they meant 399= the 300, and there are no $399 ones, so they spend $900 and just lie to everyone it was $300 in order not to look foolish. And that guy hears new laptops are only $300 and does the same. Tack on where I live the BigBox is 180km and $50 worth of gas away, the sales guy will sell them an extra warranty and an antivirus they don't need and charge them "only" $125 to set it up all wrong and then they drive 2hours and $50 more gas. Then after dropping $1500+ tell your pal you paid $300 because the Chromebook you bought your kid was only $399 Believe me, no one believes they insisted you need that antivirus just to make an extra $2 commission. And the dishwasher guy's heart gave out 3 years ago. He didn't blow his frustrations over id1ots and jerks off on the Internet. So if your stove, washer, dryer or dishwasher break you borrow someone's truck, make that drive to the BigBox and bring it home and install it yourself. So I do make a lot more $$ than him 😁 BTW I'm not in it for the $$. I do it so as not to degenerate into a dumb helpless old fart like the ones who retire and think golf and Alaska cruises is living. -
Experiencing Technical Difficulties

So after calling my home number for over a week and finally catching me sitting beside the landline, I go back to the little old lady that can't tell me more than 'it doesn't work' about her computer. Spent hours 2 weeks ago setting it all up the desktop is a complete mess of icons, the start pages of both Edge and Firefox are back to default and all the saved logins that were duplicated in both are GONE. Someone did a Windows reset and mucked about with it. I made the effort to fix, but when she pulled out her Oh I've got all my passwords here in this book and on scraps of paper in this drawer... I told her I couldn't be of help and left without charging her anything. This was the 8th visit in a year and neither she, her son, nor her daughter will listen, learn, admit to anything, or follow written instructions about how to do anything whatsoever. The PVR from the cable company has been sitting on her desk for 2 years after she cancelled, the ADSL modem she cancelled last month is beside it, plugged in with no WAN light but still xmitting wifi signal, the book of password has her dialup password from 1996 and nine or 10 hotmail ones, newest 2017. Should she call again I will refer her to a 'proper' tech that will bill her travel time and at least $60 an hour for the full time of the service call. -
Rethink: What does Trump want?

Your opinion has quickly become a minority one. -
All will be well and good when you buy Alaskan grown bananas and your daughter can work sewing clothes in a NY sweatshop like her great grandmother did in 1907. Just so long as you believe there will be thousands of American jobs on the assembly line sticking the rubber blades on windshield wipers because the company is so loyal and altruistic they'll build a whole new factory overnight in Alabama and not just raise the price you pay $5 ea.

How are Canadians liking Donald now?

What I am astounded at is how people could get so stirred up they stormed Congress over totally fake 'stolen election' BS, yet we've seen no mass protests over this lying m0ron of a President disrupting the entire US & world economy, backstabbing allies, sucking up to Russia, and enacting reprehensible orders by decree on a daily basis. WTF is wrong with the US public? They're the ones getting f*cked over. -
No they won't be built without Indigenous consultation. By Liberals, Conservatives, NDP or the BQ. Them's the facts whether you like it or not. So dream about your imaginary decisive Fuhrer.

The flagbearer of The Illiterati imagines such accomplishments so the Fanta Fuhrer doesn't need to lie about any. -
Oh my heart just bleeds for the poor landlords. They need to be guaranteed a profitable investment tool they don't have to live in. Concern for those who can't own their own home is just so woke!

The recent alignment of planets forced gas prices to rise. It appears that things are settling down and most of the savings are being passed on in most places. As a typical Canadian being raised with at least this and at least that excuses, you should be more than satisfied.

What? Slogans aren't enough?

Yeah that's why it's on during Prime Time when they bought out all the DISC channels and shittified them. Or you can see those 20 year old reruns of "Who The F*ck Gives a Shit How It's Made" on the other ones. We've seen many good Canadian shows over the years, North of 60, Street Legal, DaVinci's Inquest, etc. And tell us how awful The Nature of Things and Marketplace are and how private networks would trip over their own feet to have them. How VInyl Cafe was a waste of air time and how much better it is to pay for hockey & CFL packages than to watch it free OTA. Ya'd think all these Tory parrots actually own shares in the crap they worship, defend, and promote.

Unable to actually discuss pros and cons, the detractors as usual resort to their typical nonsense posts. Your kids can't afford a $750,000 home let alone be sucked in that 'saving' 5% on a million dollar one is a 'deal'. Mine can do 6th Grade math, hopefully yours can too. We need millions of what were referred to a starter homes, not finished mansions. There are plenty of 'vet neighbourhoods' still existing all over the country. Not all have been torn down and redeveloped into monster homes with lawns you can mow with an electric shaver like in Vancouver. Or do you want to claim those postwar developments were a bad idea and should've been left up to developers given massive tax breaks?

Case in point. Well, people with any measurable mental facilities know that I do and these twats are jealous that they don't. But this forum seems to be a haven for the Illiterati. -

Boy it's pretty clear just who the toadies really are. Gloating that the 'libbies' only got finger f*cked, spouting their usual 'globalist' conspiracies as if they validate 19th century economic policy. -
A delve into the Liberals housing plan, watch before you criticize. Certainly more extensive than simply handin out a few tax breaks for developers and buyers, and keep in mind it's for affordable ('starter' homes) not for building a 3000 sq ft fully finished monster home in Vancouver for everyone. I wholed-heartedly agree the NDP missed the boat on this one and will deliver more and faster housing than Conservative fans.
