  1. No one is forcing everyone to get vaxxed. Where do you find this bullshit?
  2. That’s your solution, vulnerable people should be locked up or have to hide in a bunker just so nothing has to change in your life. They are the selfish ones.
  3. And you think it's no big deal if you give patients who are already in hospital for serious illness Covid on top of what they are already dealing with. People go to hospitals because they are already sick, not to be infected with something else as well.
  4. Ya, I know. According to you guys we shouldn't have done anything to combat a pandemic that has killed over 6.5 million people, including over 40,000 Canadians, in spite of all the measures we took.
  5. Of course there are, you are more likely to infect other people and take up needed hospital beds.
  6. It’s not me trying to drag people down, it’s about you wanting to do whatever you want regardless of the consequences for others.
  7. Nothing to do with wrong making a right, it was an international standard for my line of work. F*ck your, it's all about me mentality.
  8. I had to undergo physicals and drug testing every six months to stay employed, just because the government was trying to punish me. LOL.
  9. How are you being punished? I had to abide by criteria set by others all through my working life.
  10. I know quite a few people like me in their seventies who have had Covid, all vaxxed and boosted. None have been sick for more than a week and none have wound up in hospital. I think i may have had it myself a couple of months ago, even though a rapid test came up negative. I was under the weather for two days. The first time I've been sick in almost three years. You do your thing, I'll keep doing mine.
  11. Sure it is for myself, it will keep me out of hospital. But a fortunate side effect of me not being in hospital is the pressure I don't put on the health care system and the impact that has on others who really need it. That isn't virtue signalling, it is simple reality.
  12. If a vaccine keeps me out of hospital, it benefits someone else who needs that hospital care at a time when our health care system is in danger of collapse. Getting vaccinated is for the benefit of others.
  13. John Bolton says what Trump did wasn't a coup because he is too stupid to plan a coup. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/jul/13/john-bolton-planned-coups-donald-trump-january-6
  14. I don't know, not my area of expertise. First thing that has to be done is make them places people will want to work and stay long term. Seems to me that will mean more money as an incentive to go there and more people so the ones you have don't burn out after they get there.
  15. Sure but we will still have relatively small communities separated by long distances and hundreds of miles from large population centres. You can't change our geography.
  16. We will watch our system crumble, because any change will be regarded as Americanizing our system, ignoring other universal systems that work better than ours. Canadian health care will always be more expensive than Europe and Asia, simply because of our scattered population.
  17. You are only up or down if you sell it, until then it's just a number.
  18. Ego then? Incompetence? 44 billion for a company he doesn't really understand.
  19. So, was he trying to buy Twitter or destroy it?
  20. Stop eating eggs, you are killing baby chickens.
  21. A fertilized egg is not a baby, it is a fertilized egg.
  22. So you do support cloning and stem cell research.
