No a religion thing. Most fundamentalist religious types are into it regardless of the religion. Wanting capital punishment just because it was a family member would be a revenge thing, not a justice thing. I wouldn't want revenge but I would want them put away for the rest of their lives without having to attend endless parol hearings. That is where our system falls short.
