  2. The only thing that would surprise me more than this is trump coming out and admitting it. Its exactly in his character. When it comes down to it trump is a massive narcissist, it should be obvious to everyone.
  3. Sars stock! I remember Keith Richards getting security to toss out people that were throwing water at that nsync guy. AC/DC too, quite a show. For the 2010's, the cubs winning the world series, one year after it happened in back to the future part 2. So much of that movie never happened. I want those shoes with power laces.
  4. Divergence dates between SARS-CoV-2 and the bat sarbecovirus reservoir were estimated as 1948 (95% highest posterior density (HPD): 1879–1999), 1969 (95% HPD: 1930–2000) and 1982 (95% HPD: 1948–2009), indicating that the lineage giving rise to SARS-CoV-2 has been circulating unnoticed in bats for decades.
  5. But has trump really done that? https://www.google.ca/amp/s/time.com/4075458/afghanistan-drawdown-obama-troops/%3famp=true There are currently about 35,000 troops serving in the 20 nations in the Middle East region that make up the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, according to Commander Elissa Smith, press officer for the Middle East at the Office of the Secretary of Defense. About 3,200 of those U.S. forces are in Iraq. https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.usnews.com/news/elections/articles/2020-01-09/after-recent-deployments-how-many-us-troops-are-in-the-middle-east%3fcontext=amp https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2019/10/21/world/middleeast/us-troops-deployments.amp.html Is this the old "sleight of hand" trick?
  6. Well sure, after they blamed Obama for reducing the military he should expect criticism.
  7. Yes please. Be sure to divert all shipments to my address in Gander, Newfoundland, along with some crude oil (for the fries).

  10. Novavax was not part of trumps warp speed until July.

  12. Over 100 arrested in Kenosha were outsiders, police say, as Trump preps controversial visit

  13. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-interactive/2018/aug/19/the-whole-world-is-watching-chicago-police-riot-vietnam-war-regan In 1969, President Nixon would hail a "silent majority" and urge them to support him, claiming patriotism for conservatives and condemning the "bitter hatred" of young Americans as he derided a minority who tried to impose their view on the nation "by mounting demonstrations in the street". Some of those fault lines, and that language, still echo 50 years later. Sadly this time around impeachment failed.
  14. The gst was nothing new. We already were paying it. The goods and services tax is a value added tax introduced in Canada on January 1, 1991, by the government of Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. The GST replaced a previous hidden 13.5% manufacturers' sales tax (MST);

BLM needs to be peer reviewed before I can speak out?

Marxism is a political and economic way of organizing society, where the workers own the means of production. Socialism is a way of organizing a society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the proletariat. Marx proposed that this was the next necessary step in the progress of history.

So blm's plan is to destroy everything and control the means of producing nothing?

I guess blm is the real conspirators of covid 19?

Know what was peer reviewed and rejected? The belief that herd immunity was a strategy for fighting this virus.

  15. Not true. Government Debt to GDP in Canada averaged 78.23 percent from 1980 until 2018, reaching an all time high of 100.20 percent in 1996 and a record low of 44.90 percent in 1980.
  16. https://www.google.ca/amp/s/amp.thepostmillennial.com/exclusive-the-military-ambitions-of-the-2020-conservative-leadership-race The war in Afghanistan took the lives of 158 Canadian soldiers. They died from landmines, roadside bombs, improvised explosive devices, and friendly fire. 175 members of the armed forces, some deployed in Afghanistan, have taken their own lives since 2010. 6,700 veterans of the war are currently receiving support for PTSD. MacKay admitted in 2014 that the “ferocity of the mission” had not “dawned” on him and other leaders. The NATO mission in Afghanistan ended in 2014, with a total of 26,000 civilians dead from war-related violence. As usual there's always a d-bag. Guys like Navarro don't phase me, I've been hearing all of that talk and jokes since I was a kid. I do hope that if they increase our military they don't just start going all trigger happy.
  17. In the u.s. baseball was called their national pastime for a long time( although some will argue that its football) Some people enjoy watching sports and some don't. Athletes have always been considered as role models, especially in the younger crowd. That's why it's sad to see athletes take a downward turn (drugs, alcohol, crime, etc) After earning the championship, Clay converted his religion to Islam, which instigated conflict with his boxing career. He also abandoned his name that was given to his slave ancestors and adopted Muhammad Ali. On April 28, 1967, he refused to serve in the Army during the Vietnam War, stating religious reasons that it goes against the Qur'an's teaching. I ain't got no quarrel with those Vietcong...no Vietcong ever called me nigger. – Muhammad Ali He then became an icon of not only the civil rights struggle, but also the anti-Vietnam War movement. However he was convicted of draft evasion, sentenced to five years in prison, fined $10,000 and stripped of his championship. It was not until a lawsuit in 1970 that Ali redeemed his title.
  18. Good to see Biden getting some xp.
  19. I think you just found the reason for B.C's tough fines for violations. Ontario has only had 41,813 cases with a population of 14.57 million. Well that and stuff like this: https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.cbc.ca/amp/1.5697104
  20. https://www.google.ca/amp/s/beta.ctvnews.ca/local/edmonton/2020/3/19/1_4859870.html Are you sure it was the government doing that?
  21. Well obviously in the boonies its easier to maintain a distance..... And why would you go to a hospital for non necessary surgery in the middle of a pandemic? That's the last place I would go unless I was dying. Just increases the risk of me getting infected.
  22. Head to your local hospital and see if they are shuttering their doors due to a lack of funding. The government does not run the way you are thinking. Not even by a long shot.
