  1. Actually it is. You can choose to accept it or complain and have the smoker put it out or take it outside. So you think we should try prohibition? Worked out so well with alchohol.
  2. Smoking is a choice. You can't choose with covid. It chooses for you.
  3. The victim, witness, or justice system participant may later decide that he or she no longer wants to continue the publication ban. He or she must then ask the Court for an order to end it and to state how the circumstances that made the order necessary have changed.
  4. https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.cbc.ca/amp/1.5675902 Let's bring on the complaints and tears. Frankly I cant wait to hear trumps response.
  5. I'd rather watch wwe before I watch that.
  6. There is, but someone violated it. May end up in charges, who knows.
  7. A publication ban is an order the Court makes that prevents anyone from publishing, broadcasting, or sending any information that could identify a victim, witness, or other person who participates in the criminal justice system. The publication ban is intended to allow victims, witnesses, and others to participate in the justice system without suffering negative consequences. Once there is a publication ban made the court decides when to remove it. The ag can request the ban lifted but the court can say yes or no.
  8. Why would he release it if he wants a publication ban on it? And I'm pretty sure that would result in a mistrial if he did release it.
  9. But it's not his decision. He can request a publication ban, but at the end of the day it's up to the judge. Typically, publication bans are meant to ensure privacy, to protect victims and to preserve the right to a fair trial.
  10. The videos released to the public were captured on a cell phone and a surveillance camera, hence they cannot be subject to a publication ban. The bodycams worn by police are not public until the court proceedings deems that it is ok to do so.
  11. It's not like your government is any better, seeing as how they tried to force the Sioux to sign a treaty under threat of starvation so they could claim the black hills. At least Churchill had a war going on with hitler.
  12. It's funny that you are all so proud of something that you constantly complain about. Kind of like how mexicans set up a blockade at the border to keep their country safe from yours
  13. And he buckled like a tooth pick holding up a Buick.
  14. Ah so New Zealand, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Australia are socialists, I see. And I guess that Canada is now ranked 4th actually, what with Hong Kong dropping drastically.
  15. Then why is the usa dropping in the freedom index? Canada is ranked 5th, 10 places above the u.s.
  16. If by that you mean he make us laugh, then yes, he makes quite the jester.
  17. Well he does say a lot of stupid things , cannot argue that. Covid or no covid.
  18. Tbf Brazil is not doing any better than usa, but no one really expects them to either.
  19. So what your saying is that since the building is already on fire, let's just dump some more gas on it? Like I said earlier they are still adding regular deaths to the toll.
  20. Yesterday was 452. Yeah that's not as much as the 1,207 the day before but that doesn't mean there wont be higher numbers tomorrow. Who knows, maybe the numbers will trend back down and people in the u.s. can go back to some sense of normal. Maybe it will go higher.
  21. https://www.cdc.gov/flu/symptoms/flu-vs-covid19.htm Almost the same, but there are differences. Comparing the two is like comparing bbguns and real guns. Similar but different.
  22. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/3044888001 Wrong. They are still reporting flu deaths, and also, the amount of covid deaths in the u.s. may be even higher than reported since at home deaths are not added to the count. https://www.texastribune.org/2020/07/08/houston-coronavirus-deaths-number/
  23. Covid has already killed almost 160,000 people in the u.s. in just over half a year now. Still want to compare it to the flu?
