Canada as it is now is an un-workable dream. Quebec never wanted to be a part of Canada and their parasitic presence combined with Ontario's penchant for Quebec ass-kissing has ruined the country. 'Canada West' (four western provinces) would be a viable country with all the fuel, food, and western enthusiasm to make it happen. Eastern deepwater seaport at Churchill for access to European markets, and the west coast seaports for Asian markets. Heavy tarrifs on China/Asian containers destined for Ontario/Quebec east destinations, and once Donnie Demento is gone, back to business with our American neighbors. Alberta is doomed going it alone on separation.

When that unemployed hang-about 'street person' has had two dozen call-outs with ambulance and medical care for his/her overdose crisis and gets top-billing treatment in the Emergency ward, and grandpa who's worked/paid taxes dies waiting for an ambulance/medical help . . . you know there's something really fk'd in this country.
