As far as the war in the Gaza is concerned, I believe there needs to be some pauses to bring humanitarian aid in. I also believe Israel should do everything possible to avoid harming civilians. They should be making sure civilians will be safe. I don't know how much the reports coming out are true or accurate because they come from Hamas-controlled sources. This is a problem.

I believe the climate changes and has always changed. I do not believe man can control the climate in any way. To me that is wishful thinking. We are being conned and taxed for something that we cannot control. Most of the world does not pay carbon taxes like we do and carbon taxes do not change people's use of essential things like natural gas for heating. We still have to heat our homes in this cold country.

The political parties that started and had something to do with running residential schools a hundred years ago and the churches that ran them should be the ones that pay, not the tens of millions of ordinary Canadians today who never had anything to do with racism or running residential schools 50 or 100 years ago. Many Canadians are struggling to keep a roof over their heads and put food on the table; yet they are forced to pay billions of dollars to FNs for alleged past wrongs done to some of them. There is a similar injustice with carbon taxes being taken from millions of Canadians for the fake purpose of controlling the climate. -

What fiction are you spouting? Myself and everyone I know have just lived our lives and never been racists. Yet we are forced to pay hundreds of dollars a year for supposed "racism" that never occurred in our lifetime. How can there be racism if we never had anything to do with natives in our lifetime? If there was any racism against natives, it was done by a handful of people, perhaps some that ran the residential schools, that are long gone for the most part. So why are we forced to pay again? -

It is shocking and concerning that someone like the person in this article would be appointed to such high positions by the Biden administration. Just proves how badly America has fallen. quote Dr. Rachel Levine was appointed by President Joe Biden in October as a four-star admiral, the highest-ranking official in the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. Dr. Levine also serves as the HHS Assistant Secretary for Health. Levine’s background is as a pediatrician. In a rich bit of irony, not only is Levine the first transgender person to serve in the uniformed health service as a four-star senior officer but is also the first “woman” to serve in that capacity. Until age 53, Rachel Levine lived life as a man. Richard Levine was born with all-male parts and with male chromosomes. In 2011 however, he decided he was a she. A divorce followed, but so did Levine’s public fortunes. Levine served in public health positions in Pennsylvania for several years to mixed reviews. One gay advocacy publication describes Dr. Levine this way, “Dr. Rachel Levine is very much regarded in the fields of pediatrics, psychiatry and social well being…” They neglect to mention that Dr. Levine has advocated for allowing persons who are below the age of sexual consent to get hormone blockers and genital mutilation, causing irreversible damage. In other words, the new four-star admiral and HHS Assistant Secretary for Health believes your thirteen-year-old is too young to consent to sexual intercourse but is old enough and mature enough to make life-altering decisions on taking hormone inhibitors to prevent normal puberty and to get surgery removing or altering his or her genitalia, without parental consent. unquote Transgenderism: It's time to state the obvious - Washington Times If you believe a person can be biologically born as a male and live as male until age 53, and then suddenly decide he is a she, I've got some property I can sell you .... -

How many were Papists? Likely four out of five. The Papacy is all about political power and control. That is why it has a large bureaucracy. I believe it was reported Putin is a defender of the Russian Orthodox Church. "Father Mitrofanov put it this way: "Orthodox belief is no longer understood as a belief in Christ, but as a totalitarian ideology, that mixes nationalistic ideas with zero-tolerance for internal and external critics, and a need to feel like a part of a powerful community."

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Western countries have declared Iran as a state sponsor of terrorism. This is common knowledge. Where do you get your information or lack thereof?

Trudeau is bringing in immigrants that would support his Socialist agenda. They come from countries where there is no democratic system and so they don't understand freedom. Judeo-Christianity brought more freedom and human rights to the western world than anything else. If you oppose Christianity you are setting yourself up to be taken over by a Socialist dictatorship. I found from observation that atheists or agnostics often believe government should take care of them. The word that describes Trudeau, liberals, and NDP is establishmentarianism, which means more government bureaucracy and control of every aspect of everyone's life. Another similar word is authoritarianism. It is bizarre how one man, like Trudeau, believes so strongly that he knows everything and nobody else knows anything. Many people want government to provide for their every need. There is a price to be paid for having government so involved in everything. The price is freedom. The more government gets involved in everything, the more convinced they are that they know what is best for everyone.

No, I'm not Jewish. Actually German-English descent. There are lots of things I can see you do not understand about this whole thing. You make wild nonsensical assumptions that have no basis. When God chose Abraham and his offspring, Isaac and Jacob as the beginning of the twelve tribes of Israel way back 3,500 years ago or so, that was God's prerogative. Many children of Israel chose to worship the true God of Israel. Many did not. Consequently they were judged. The history of Israel in the Old Testament was a series of faithful leaders who followed and worshipped the true God, but there were a series of valleys where the leaders were bad and did not follow God and the people did not follow God. God judged them and they were often punished down through history. They went into captivity under the Babylonians for 70 years I believe. Gentiles during that history who were proselytized and worshiped the true God were accepted. Many other gentile nations were worshiping false gods, and sacrificing their babies to the false gods in the fires. Nobody is saying every individual person was a follower of the true God. Many were not. That's the way it was in history. Everyone makes their own mind up about what they will do as far as God is concerned. Nobody is trying to force you to believe in the God of the Bible. That's entirely your choice. Today the world is in a mess with wars, crimes, and everything else. I see Israel is just trying to defend its own existence in a sea of hostile people who want to destroy it. The elimination of Hamas will not end their problems. But it is just one step they believe they must do to stop the kind of terrorist attacks that took place on Oct. 7th. They really have no choice. I think if you live there, you would feel the same way. -

Ah but the gentiles have been included in the picture if they repent and believe on Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. The gospel has gone out to the world. The problem is you and most of the world refuse to accept it. So you have not been left out of the picture. While God chose Israel as a nation through the patriarchs of the Jews, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. However, they had faith. Not all people had faith. The Bible says without faith it is impossible to please him. God requires faith. That is the one thing. So the offer is open to the whole world to believe in Jesus Christ. But not all believe. The offer is open to the gentiles too. God gave us his word with the Bible. You reject it at your own peril. He chose Israel to be his vehicle to give his revelation to man in the form of the prophets in the Old Testament and Jesus Christ who came to earth, and died for the sins of mankind. The New Testament is an account of all this. So there is no excuse for rejecting it. I explained in great detail why I am interested in Israel and what goes on there, but you didn't seem to read it or absorb it. Not much more I can do. -
That is pure fiction. You try to use the Bible to support your idea but totally ignore the Bible when it comes to terrorism. Now you are saying terrorism and murder of innocent civilians is justified on the basis of some grievances that Palestinians have. That kind of thinking is completely supporting evil. You need to give your head a shake and seek some Christian counselling.
-
Thanks for clarifying your age group. I don't really understand your thinking about showing solidarity with a people who reject Israel's right to exist and support terrorism. That is contrary to the Bible which says love thy neightour and thou shalt not kill. How do you reconcile yours claims with the Bible? Many Palestinians are not peaceful refugees as you call them. There may be some, but they cannot stop the terrorists. Many are supporters of terrorist organizations like Hamas. Hamas attacked Israel when there was no war and in effect committed a grave act of war against innocent civilians and killed around 1,500 civilians and took around 250 hostages. This is not living in peace. This caused an all-out war. Israel has a right to defend itself. Israel is not going to just sit back and let its people be brutally attacked and murdered. You seem to be ignoring reality. I agree with love your neighbour and justice, but justice and love of neighbour does not mean you allow terrorists to attack and kill you and your people. A nation has a right to respond to defend itself and eliminate the threat.

This is an interesting explanation that would mean something to Bible-believing Christians: quote Israel – a Blessing to the Nations Some 3,500 years ago God made an unconditional covenant with His chosen servant Abram (later called Abraham). The primary part of this covenant was that through Abram’s descendants all the nations for all time would be blessed. God said to Abram: In you all the families of the earth will be blessed (Gen 12.3) In your descendants all the nations of the earth shall be blessed (Gen 22.18) So how are the nations blessed? Tracing through the descendants of Abraham we find that the tribe of Judah is given ‘royal lineage’ in terms of a scepter (Gen 49.10). This symbolized kingship and led to the royal house of David. Following the genealogies from David in the book of Matthew we come to Joseph the husband of Mary who bore Jesus. God gave Jesus the throne of David (Lk 1.32), but Jesus’ mission at that time was the reconciliation of sinful mankind to God. Through Christ’s death on the cross, everyone who believes in Him – the resurrected Christ – and follows Him is reconciled to God. Jesus said: Salvation is of the Jews (Jn 4.22) That is the first and foremost blessing of the nations. Israel’s primary purpose, her primary reason for existence, was to bring salvation to the world through Christ. A Blessing on Israel: With this historic mission for Israel in view, God blessed this embryo nation – the children of Israel – as they made their exodus from Egypt under Moses. Listen to the beautiful singing of this blessing in the book of Numbers, chapter 6 verses 24-26: A Song of the LORD’s Blessing upon Israel. Sung in both Hebrew and English “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.“ unquote What is God's Purpose for Israel | Why does Israel exist? What happens in Israel will have major implications for the world. Israel is historically a very important nation. According to the Bible, God chose the Jews as his special people and gave them the land of Israel for perpetuity. God used the Jews to write the Old Testament. Jesus Christ was a Jew and was crucified and raised from the dead in Israel. The Bible prophesies that Israel will be at the centre of an Armageddon at some point. It is also the place where Jesus Christ is prophesied to return. The Jews, Muslims, and Christians all claim holy sites within Israel. "According to the Book of Revelation in the New Testament of the Christian Bible, Armageddon (/ˌɑːrməˈɡɛdən/; from Ancient Greek Ἁρμαγεδών (Harmagedṓn),[1][2] Late Latin: Armagedōn,[3] from Hebrew: הַר מְגִדּוֹ Har Məgīddō) is the prophesied location of a gathering of armies for a battle during the end times, which is variously interpreted as either a literal or a symbolic location. One other thought. Hitler and the Nazis were leading anti-Semites through the 1930s and WW2 and committed the Holocaust against millions of them. After Hitler died and even after all his war crimes and genocide against the Jews, this is what the dictator of Spain said about Hitler: "Francisco Franco, Head of Spain, allegedly said on 3 May 1945:* Adolf Hitler son of the Catholic Church died while defending Christianity. It is therefore understandable that words cannot be found to lament over his death, when so many were found to exalt his life. Over his mortal remains stands his victorious figure. with the palm of the martyr, God gives Hitler the laurels of Victory." -

No, there was no "good reason". As I said many times, man is corrupt and has an evil heart. One website explains it a bit. quote Anti-Semitism, sometimes called history’s oldest hatred, is hostility or prejudice against Jewish people. The Nazi Holocaust is history’s most extreme example of anti-Semitism. Anti-Semitism did not begin with Adolf Hitler: Anti-Semitic attitudes date back to ancient times. In much of Europe throughout the Middle Ages, Jewish people were denied citizenship and forced to live in ghettos. Anti-Jewish riots called pogroms swept the Russian Empire during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, and anti-Semitic incidents have increased in parts of Europe, the Middle East and North America in the last several years. The term anti-Semitism was first popularized by German journalist Wilhelm Marr in 1879 to describe hatred or hostility toward Jews. The history of anti-Semitism, however, goes back much further. Hostility against Jews may date back nearly as far as Jewish history. In the ancient empires of Babylonia, Greece, and Rome, Jews—who originated in the ancient kingdom of Judea—were often criticized and persecuted for their efforts to remain a separate cultural group rather than taking on the religious and social customs of their conquerors. With the rise of Christianity, anti-Semitism spread throughout much of Europe. Early Christians vilified Judaism in a bid to gain more converts. They accused Jews of outlandish acts such as “blood libel”—the kidnapping and murder of Christian children to use their blood to make Passover bread. These religious attitudes were reflected in anti-Jewish economic, social and political policies that pervaded into the European Middle Ages. Anti-Semitism in Medieval Europe Many of the anti-Semitic practices seen in Nazi Germany actually have their roots in medieval Europe. In many European cities, Jews were confined to certain neighborhoods called ghettos. Some countries also required Jews to distinguish themselves from Christians with a yellow badge worn on their garment, or a special hat called a Judenhut. Some Jews became prominent in banking and moneylending, because early Christianity didn’t permit moneylending for interest. This resulted in economic resentment which forced the expulsion of Jews from several European countries including France, Germany, Portugal and Spain during the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. Jews were denied citizenship and civil liberties, including religious freedom throughout much of medieval Europe. Poland was one notable exception. In 1264, Polish prince Bolesław the Pious issued a decree allowing Jews personal, political and religious freedoms. Jews did not receive citizenship and gain rights throughout much of western Europe, however, until the late 1700s and 1800s. unquote Anti-Semitism - Definition, Meaning & Reasons For (history.com) When Constantine legalized Christianity about 313 A.D., it became the state religion throughout the Roman Empire. The Jews had a different religion.. Judaism. For some reason, when the majority of people follow a certain religion, especially in ancient times, they seem to become very intolerant of the minority who have a different religion. When the Roman Empire legalized Christianity, a new kind of Christianity formed, which involved having a Pope in Rome in the Roman or western region and a different but similar Christianity in the Eastern or Orthodox (Greek) region. I think they were united until about the 10th century when there was a big split between east and west. But for some reason they regarded Jews as aliens or a threat. So the anti-Semitism seems to have had its root in the Roman Catholic Church in Europe. But anti-Semitism also developed in other areas such as Russia. Part of it may be because the Jews crucified Jesus Christ or that is what was believed. So I believe the Roman church blamed the Jews, which is contrary to the Bible. This was hatred. Jews were persecuted down through the centuries for simply being Jews. The Jews were firm believers in their own religion of Judaism. The Catholics, which was a kind of corrupt form of Christianity, developed a lot hate toward the Jews and the persecutions went on for centuries to varying degrees. The Jews suffered immensely. Nazi Germany decided to eliminate them completely and managed to commit genocide against about two-thirds of the Jews in Europe. Hitler had hired expert propaganda anti-Semites, even a theologian named Gerhard Kittel, to publish articles which would brainwash the population against the Jews. These articles used a corrupt form of science and religion to paint the Jews as evil people and inferior to the Aryans or Germanic race. -

We know Arabs are semites too. But when speaking about antisemitism, everyone know it's referring to the Jews. That is a no-brainer. Why pretend it doesn't exist in a major way? It has been going on for 1,500 years or more. Do you think the Nazis and all the antisemitism in the world refers to the Arabs too? Seriously! Where have you had your head? Antisemitism against the Jews is widespread in the world and has been for at least 1,500 years. Why pretend it is uncommon? The U.N. is full of countries that are antisemitic and anti-Israel. That is a proven fact. The mainstream media is not particularly supportive of Israel either. In fact the liberal party and Canadian government has a history of not supporting the Jews very well. Quite a few died in the Holocaust from the motor vessel St. Louis that Canada turned away around 1939. But it was easy for former Nazis to immigrate into Canada after WW2. The same could be said about yourself. How do you know? I have lots of evidence for what I believe. History is pretty strong evidence. I don't think you have any. -

I think they support Israel because that is what the Bible teaches going back several thousand years. As I said, I don't think supporting them brings a fulfillment of prophecy. Prophecy of the future will be fulfilled regardless of what someone does or doesn't do.
