Should Hamas support rallies in Canada be stopped?
blackbird replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I am not reading his posts. You are commenting to me. Comment to him, but why try to accuse other people of agreeing with his posts. This is why I said you need help. You don't know how to talk to other people. -

Ever heard of the 1979 revolution in Iran when the terrorist Islamists took over? I think you should know that is a lie. Check the definition of Zionism which I just gave you. You never admit your error and persist in your nonsense. -

You are clearly making this up. Nobody believes Israel or Zionists means that. Nobody anywhere wants to destroy all other races. What garbage you post. You are living out of reality in some kind of fictitious world. Perhaps you are in need of counseling because you're not making any sense on here. As I asked, what country did you come from? I am trying to understand why you think in such a bizarre way. I don't support any such thing. Why do you assume I support someone else's comments? This just shows how mixed up you are. You read some comment on the forum and automatically assume I believe the same way or same thing. You really need help. -

Where on earth did you come from? What country? By saying Zionists are bad you are saying Israel has no right to exist as a state? Definition of Zionism: a movement for (originally) the re-establishment and (now) the development and protection of a Jewish nation in what is now Israel. So why would you be opposed to the existence of the State of Israel? That's what Zionism means, a movement to support the re-establishment of the State of Israel, which was done in 1948. -

Nonsensical. That's what happens when someone refuses to study any history and learn the facts. The existence of Israel has been opposed since the beginning of history. The world is full of antisemites. That alone is one good reason they deserve their own land as a place of refuge from the haters of the world. -

Antisemitism has been common in many countries in the world and as you showed, Canada was no exception. I don't think things have changed a whole lot since WW2, maybe a bit. What is still a mystery, is how a Nazi could be invited into the House of Commons and be given a standing ovation. How could the Liberal government not have screened this person? How could all these Nazis have been allowed into Canada since WW2? -

I talked to a man who was an Israeli /Canadian. He said everyone is required to be in the reserves as he was when he lived there. He had to be ready at any moment to be called out to fight for his country. They don't rely on others. They know what the price is to defend their own country and they pay a high price. -

Where would you find "moderate voices" if the majority are controlled by terrorists. You don't seem to see the complete nonsense you post. The terrorists are in control and nobody else gets to speak for the Palestinians. As a non-Palestinian you don't get to say who speaks for them. -

The thing you don't seem to understand is the Palestinians, who are primarily Muslim, do not believe Israel has the right to exist. There are millions of Palestinians living in the West Bank and Gaza. If they were to be given the right to vote, what do you think would happen to Israel? Before people can have the right to vote in a country like Israel, they must be known to believe that Israel has a right to exist. The security of Israel comes before anything else. As a Canadian citizen you should understand that. It is simple logic. The right to vote carries with it responsibility and allegiance to the country. If people are opposed to the country, they cannot possibly be given the power to govern it. -

Hamas is the government of Gaza for now. Hezbollah is the majority of the government of Lebanon and is backed and supported in every way by the terrorist government of Iran. None of them are interested in negotiations or peace and they run the Palestinian areas of Lebanon and Gaza. Many thousands of Palestinians demonstrating and creating anarchy in the West Bank also support them as do many in surrounding Arab countries. -

Israel has said it is going to destroy Hamas. Whether it can or not I don't know. Israel cannot be secure if a terrorist group is allowed to continue to govern Gaza. That much is clear. It simply won't bring any security for Israel. The other problem is Hezbollah in Lebanon, backed by Iran. It is really Iran supporting and encouraging them to fight Israel. I am not sure how that can solved. There doesn't seem to be any way that Hezbollah or Iran will give up trying to destroy Israel. Again you demonstrate your total ignorance. Tell me how you would negotiate with terrorist groups whose only interest is in destroying you and your country? -

Comparing Canada's FN people to Hamas and its supporters shows a lot of ignorance. We don't see FN people as terrorists attacking non-native civilians or taking people hostage. They don't believe non-native need to be killed off. What kind of a brain do you have? Hamas and Palestinians have absolutely nothing in common with Canada's FN people. -

No deliberately misquoted me. I never said what you claim I said. I never said the Palestinian protesters in the street needed to be negotiated with. I said there are thousands of Palestinians on the street that are creating anarchy. -

I can tell you I have absolutely no use for people who publicly demonstrate and support Hamas or their allies or antisemitism. They should all be deported to the ME. We don't need those kind of people immigrating to Canada and bringing their wars and disputes to our country. Immigrant applicants should be screened very carefully and any antisemitic applicants should be rejected. Should Hamas support rallies in Canada be stopped?
blackbird replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The reason is quite simple. They obviously see them as Hamas or terrorist sympathizers and a threat. You can see mobs of Palestinians throwing rocks at Israeli police on the news. There are literally thousands of out of control Palestinians on the streets that are creating anarchy in the State of Israel that need to be dealt with to try to maintain order. It's not complicated. Nobody threw rocks at the police in the Ottawa occupation. But you can be sure if they did, they would have been arrested and thrown in jail. That is just the way authorities have to deal with criminals, law-breakers and anarchists. -

The reason I thought this sentence is confusing it says you blame Hamas for attacking Palestinians. I have never heard that on the news. I assumed you meant to say Israel attacked Palestinians, not Hamas. The fact is Hamas started a war against Israel by their murder of over 1,300 people on Oct. 7th and their taking of over 200 hostages. It is a simple principle that any nation has the right to defend itself. The source of the attack was Hamas and where is Hamas? They are a terrorist organization that hides among the population in the Gaza strip. They use the civilian populations as human shields, men, women and children. Do you seriously think Israel should not attack Hamas because they hide themselves among the general population? Do you think Israel should not defend themselves because Hamas is hiding among the people? Do you think the Israelis should just do nothing and wait for the next terrorist attack against Israeli civilians? Do you think Israel has no right to defend themselves? What would you do if you were a leader in Israel? You like to throw around one of your favourite woke words, "colonization". You probably believe all non-natives in Canada are evil colonizers. I suggested you study some history, but you refused to do so. You cling to the Palestinian claim that Israel illegally took control of the land of Israel/Palestine. If you think Israelis have no right to be in Israel and defend themselves, what give you the right to be Canada? Canada was colonized by non-natives long ago and you are a descendant of colonizers. What are you doing here? Are you a hypocrite in condemning Israel for existing when you are living in Canada and you are not a native? What is the difference? It is impossible to have a reasonable conversation with someone like you who is completely brainwashed with the antisemitic, anti-Israel lines and just keep repeating the Muslim-Palestinian talking points. Israel bad, Palestinian good. You are wrong about Israel's right to the land. As I said many times, the British, who had control of the land after WW1, mandated the land to Israel and some areas for Palestinians to live in. This was later approved of by the League of Nations and later by the United Nations. What is it you don't understand about this? Hamas would have known that Israel would take action against them by bombing all of their bases, and operating centres in the Gaza among the civilians. Hamas knew this but they simply don't care about the civilians. They prove it over and over. They have no humanity and are nothing but wild animals. No, I never said anything about the brutality of either side being a "inconsequential nothing burger". That is you throwing that in there as a kind of smear. Most people know war is brutal and civilians do suffer, perhaps more than anyone else. But the fact is Israel has no option but to attack Hamas where they are, in the Gaza strip. Hamas knows this and deliberately operates that way to make Israel look like the evil side. How else on earth is Israel going to defend itself? You still have not explained that, but continue to push the false idea that Israel has no right to even be there. You reveal yourself as an unreasonable person with no humanity. You are supporting the Muslim, Islamic world which are also 100% opposed to the existence of Israel. You swallowed their propaganda completely. You are out of step with the democratic western countries who all believe Israel has a right to exist on their land. -

In allowing these anti-Israel rallies, Canada is out of step with Germany and France, which are forbidding them. Such rallies will just create more domestic problems such as antisemitism. One of the Canadian government's problems seems to be they are trying to be all things to all people regardless of what it entails. They seem to be trying to agree with everyone or appease everyone and end up just satisfying nobody completely. They create new problems and allow hostilities to fester and grow in society. The world persecuted and discriminated against the Jews for 1,500 years. Now governments are struggling to keep the lid on it and having to deal with crimes of hate. That is a consequence of failing to deal with it and allowing it to spread. -

You are not making any sense. I was referring to your lack of knowledge of history. You made meaningless generalizations so nobody can know what you are talking about exactly. So no, I don't understand what your point is. -
Should Hamas support rallies in Canada be stopped?
blackbird replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
This sentence sounds mixed up. You don't appear to know any history of the world. The whole world was settled by people migrating and conquering a different area or simply moving to uninhabited new areas. As far as Israel is concerned, that area has been fought over and controlled by different groups or powers more than any other place on earth. I would suggest you read something about it before commenting. You obviously don't know anything about to speak of. Try doing a search of "history of Palestine" and see the article on Wikipedia. Were you even aware that Israel and Palestinians were given certain areas of land in the early part of the 20th century by Britain which had control over the area after WW1? Then later it was recognized by the League of Nations and later recognized by the United Nations. So it is as much a legitimate nation as any other country in the world. The fact is Muslim countries and Islam Republics never recognized Israel's right to exist because they want it to be an Islamic republic. -

The fact Hamas murdered people and did horrible things to them has been on the news steadily for weeks. They have had the relatives of the murdered and the relatives of the people taken hostage interviewed on the news? Why do you even question it? -

OK. I deleted the article in question. I usually put quote and unquote around an article or quotation marks and then give the link where it came from. How do you use the quote function here? Where do you find that? Is there a rule that says I have to use some quote function? As long as I put quotations marks around it and give the source, shouldn't that be ok? -

What is your reason why Israel has a right to its land then? You are unclear and seem kind of confused about it. Since you don't want to read any article more than a few sentences, it appears you will not be able to learn much about it. Some posters on here spend their time just spitting out short shouts of nonsense or insults. That is the only reason they come on here. It makes them feel good. But it adds nothing to the general pool of knowledge or communication of knowledge. Sort of like a beer parlour brawl. Of course the history behind the land of Israel is the central issue. -

Nonsense. I do put quotations marks around the material I quote or put the word quote at the beginning and unquote at the end. Have you not noticed that? Then followed by the source link. There is no copyright infringement when it is not forbidden to quote. I always give the website link it came from which gives credit to the source. So there is no infringement of anything. Article posted on the internet are there for a purpose. The purpose being to broadcast to as many people as possible. The other thing is: The purpose is to spread the article to as many people as possible. That is the reason the article is posted on the internet in the first place. So of course the more people it is given to the happier the originators are, especially when the link to its source is included, which I do. I am not running a business or receiving any compensation. So there is no infringement. Quit trying to silence others.
