  2. Interesting that we don't allow the Catholics to deal with their shit "privately."
  3. Are they? This article shows other religious groups have been trying to deal with this since at least 2012: https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2012/08/17/premier_defends_al_quds_rally_at_queens_park.html
  4. I've searched for some evidence that this has been denounced by mainstream Islam in Canada, but I have found nothing. Only other religions have denounced it. Of course, the argument is that Muslims have no responsibility to denounce such things. They appear to subscribe to the course of action mentioned in your post:
  5. Holy crap, Chinese invasion.

Scary to think that a few of those degrees might end-up working in Canada.

A few? Try lots. The places where fake degrees are most popular happen to be our biggest immigration source countries. And unlike the Americans we don't interview these people, or require they have a job offer before approval. We just sort through the papers they've submitted and stamp them approved.

Trump University has outlets in China?  Lol

  6. Clearly I don't support the Al Quds. If you want to talk about Palestine/Israel, start another thread. Or add to one that's already created.
  7. Good gawd, if after all my time on this forum you haven't figured out that I'm the last person here who would show ANY support for any kind of Islamic hate-fest, I suspect you're being deliberately obtuse.
  8. This topic isn't about Palestine. It's about the Al Qud hate-fests going on in Canada. Why do you support them?
  9. You quibble like Dia over trivial details, exact wordings, interpretations of wordings - anything to distract from the FACT that this is nothing more than a hate-fest against Jews. How you can read what goes on at these "events" and watch the videos of the speeches made by Canada's leading imams and watch all the Muslim attendees lapping up that poison, see the absolutely insane hatred on their faces and then come here and quibble about whether or not they called for the death of all Jews, some Jews, or whatever......I just don't even know what your point is. Disgusting.
  10. https://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/detroit/2018/11/20/female-genital-mutilation-michigan/1991712002/ I had been following this case and am very disappointed in this ruling. Really, really disappointing to see democracy and Western values used against us in this way. Kudos to Islam and their idiotic Western progressive supporters. They got what they wanted - women's and children's rights are going down the outhouse hole and we can't make laws fast enough to stop it. They are actually saying that this practice needs to be "debated". And that the only reason for the law is because some might possibly find the practice cruel and repulsive. I'm in shock and scared for women.
  11. I tried to find the report with recommendations on how to handle this hate-fest that was supposed to be completed in June. https://torontosun.com/news/local-news/levy-city-bureaucrats-dither-on-hate-rally-report I also agree with this statement from the writer:
  12. And some support it in the name of multiculturalism and tolerance. Playing with fire and insisting that everyone else play with it too.
  13. I see you haven't read any of the links to see what is actually going on at these hate-fests. Once you do that, maybe then come back and comment.
  14. Actually, not just a safe haven. We protect them. We pay them millions of dollars.
  15. http://www.cjnews.com/news/canada/city-toronto-study-stop-hate-rallies So when they were refused a permit last year, they just went ahead and did it anyways. Without the permit, they are not allowed on city property. But they went ahead and did it anyways. And the kicker: Canada is not sure what to do about hate groups who repeatedly break the law. They apparently need to study it further. Canada has become a safe haven for Islamists.
  16. Sorry, eye, but I'm going to give you an "F" on this definition of antisemitism. Here's the real one: an·ti-Se·mit·ic /ˌan(t)ēsəˈmidik,ˌanˌtīsəˈmidik/ adjective adjective: antisemitic hostile to or prejudiced against Jews. "anti-Semitic remarks were posted on the site"
  17. These rallies are being protested by non-Muslims because the chant "Death to Jews" is frequently heard, speakers advise killing Jews, flags of terrorist organizations are flown. That is antisemitism to the rest of us. What's your definition?
  18. It's not just held in Toronto. They are held all across Canada and the world. I believe I witnessed one in Fort Mac. Interesting that this is a made-up Islamic holiday, only existing since 1979.
  19. "Each generation doubtless feels called upon to reform the world. Mine knows that it will not reform it, but its task is perhaps even greater. It consists in preventing the world from destroying itself. Heir to a corrupt history, in which are mingled fallen revolutions, technology gone mad, dead gods, and worn-out ideologies, where mediocre powers can destroy all yet no longer know how to convince, where intelligence has debased itself to become the servant of hatred and oppression, this generation starting from its own negations has had to re-establish, both within and without, a little of that which constitutes the dignity of life and death. In a world threatened by disintegration, in which our grand inquisitors run the risk of establishing forever the kingdom of death, it knows that it should, in an insane race against the clock, restore among the nations a peace that is not servitude, reconcile anew labour and culture, and remake with all men the Ark of the Covenant. It is not certain that this generation will ever be able to accomplish this immense task, but already it is rising everywhere in the world to the double challenge of truth and liberty and, if necessary, knows how to die for it without hate. Wherever it is found, it deserves to be saluted and encouraged, particularly where it is sacrificing itself. In any event, certain of your complete approval, it is to this generation that I should like to pass on the honour that you have just given me." ~Albert Camus' speech at the Nobel Banquet at the City Hall in Stockholm, December 10, 1957
  20. i think you guys do a good job of taking care of the spam. Thank you
  21. It's not about focusing on one or the other. It's the ones making the bad choices that are the ones we have to deal with. And as long as the Koran offers the choice - there will be ones who choose the bad one. My frustration (and Dog's too, I suppose) is that the book offers the choice to its followers and presents them both as legitimate by rewarding either choice.
  22. Maybe let all the other Muslims know that Dog's interpretation is incorrect. The Ahmadiyaa Muslims ( also Kurds, Sufis, Rohingya, etc) are frequently massacred by their fellow for Muslims for not being true Muslims. It seems to me that it's the Koran that offers people the choice. I have a problem with that.
  23. I'm not disagreeing with you.
  24. Religion is not the only way to find purpose, meaning and happiness in life. Find purpose within life - having good relationships with other people, within our work, within the groups to which we belong.
  25. Now you're messing with a parent's "right" to teach their children their own religion, and no politician wants to touch that with a 10 foot pole. Religion in the West is losing its hold on people. I hope the current rise of fundamentalist Christians and Muslim extremists is indicative of the death throes of religion.
