  1. Well, that wasn't MY statement - so it's no wonder I can't follow WTF you're trying to say to me when you can't even follow the convo yourself.
  2. Without getting into the other 2 - I certainly have not responded with only denial and derision. I have read every single link you provided, I have paid attention to your constant portrayal of your sister as the typical Muslim, I have agreed with you when I could, I have acknowledged when you have made a good point. You however are the one who denies there is any problems in Islam. Oh yes, if pushed you will sandwich a generic comment like "Yes, it's terrible when people do these things." between denying and excusing what is clearly more of a problem in Islam and in Islamic countries than in other countries, and name-calling/posting moral judgements about people's character based on some comments on a particular subject on an internet discussion forum! You been popping into topics spewing venom to try to "bait" other posters, just so you can get your persecution rocks off and appear morally superior. Just because a person feels immigration is not working well in Canada, and has concerns about Islamic extremism (I get that this is not a concern for you, but it is to a lot of people) and doesn't view Islam as the religion of peace that you'd like to see promoted doesn't make them bad people who should be written off. You make all kinds of excuses for Muslims - terrorists are just mentally ill, the imam who prayed for Islamic countries to be free of the filth of the Jews - well, he didn't mean it that way, you deny that women are being raped in great numbers in Sweden, you deny the assimilation problems and that there are no-go zones, you basically deny everything going on in Islam - we all know there is misogyny int he world, we all know girls are being mutilated and married off before they are even teens, we all know women are beaten by their husbands we all know this happens in all societies. Islam however, has cornered the market on all of it - it isn't just ONE issue - they have adopted everything bad they encountered in their world conquest and it's all coming to a head now, as they clash with the rest of the world. I really dont' understand why - given what's happening in the world of Islam right now - you insist on shutting down any discussion of it.
  3. I don't know because I don't see where anyone said that.
  4. Equally clear - how? Based on your sister and your own personal anecdotes? It's not equally clear when the verses are right there in the Koran and despite your belief that no Muslims follow the Koran we can all see a lot of them avoiding contact or friendship with non-Muslims, and when mainstream Christianity does not have the same requirement, nor does it "promote" it as you claim - no, not equally clear at all. Again, let me reassure (for the 407,000th time) that neither Dog nor myself believe that ALL Muslims do this. But if you can't admit that this is common in Islam - much more common than it is in Christianity.....well, you just continue on defending Islam - the greatest religion EVER!
  5. What is so confusing about there being several reasons why blocking public streets for religious prayers is a bad idea? Why does it have to just boil down to just one single reason?
  6. Well, it's a tactic that seems to work well for you - you're constantly posting assumptions about how the some of us will react before we even have a chance. I learned from the best! (It's really annoying, isn't it, Dia?!?)
  7. Yes, except the JW's are just a small cult of about 11 million members worldwide with a lot of other wonky beliefs......not quite the same effect as a dominant religion with over a billion members being told the same thing. I was married into a very large family of staunch Catholics for over 20 years and never once heard any of them say they couldn't be friends with non-Catholics. I also went to school with a Muslim woman whose husband followed her around between classes, making sure she didn't befriend any of the rest of us. So don't make out like Christianity is all about NOT making friends with un-believers. We all know who the real liar is here.
  8. There is also an issue with slaughtering animals in the streets, common in Muslim countries but not acceptable in Western lands. Egypt tries to crack down on it, but they ignore their own government, so doubtful they will have much respect for any host country. http://www.egypttoday.com/Article/2/56308/Why-people-will-never-obey-government-stop-slaughtering-in-streets https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/7074173/eid-al-adha-2018-animal-sacrifice-cows-beheaded/ https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/709345/Muslims-urged-not-to-SLAUGHTER-ANIMALS-in-the-streets-of-France-at-Eid-al-Adha https://cutacut.com/2018/08/22/is-pakistan-the-only-muslim-country-that-slaughters-animals-on-the-streets-on-eid-ul-azha/ I recently met people from Russia and Switzerland and as we were talking about our respective countries, the Swiss guy commented about their problems with Muslims - they steal sheep from farmers and petting zoos, cut their heads off, take the bodies and leave the severed heads behind. He also talked about how difficult it is because the Swiss are very open and tolerant but they feel the Muslims are pushing this tolerance past the limits of what is acceptable. He was generally happy with how the Swiss government handles troublemakers - they deport problem people mush quicker and more often than we do. He was also happy with how their government listens to the people and that the Swiss population has much more say in what happens in their country than we do. But again, this is probably more of a "traffic issue" to some.
  9. OMG **hands you a mirror** If Argus said those very words you'd be calling him a racist.
  10. Actually you didn't say that. That's why I was questioning your responses, too. You just immediately started with name-calling me for not agreeing with Muslims blocking the streets for prayers, so my understanding, like Scribblet's was that you AGREE with them being allowed to do so. So......when myself or Scribblet or Argus or Dog dont' agree with something Muslims are doing, we're racist trolls. But if you disagree with what they're doing, you're being perfectly reasonable and intelligent and everyone else is a retard? (BTW - you may want to re-think the use of that particular insult - RETARD. People with handicapped children really and truly resent that word being thrown around. Perhaps you're not as intelligent and politically correct as you think you are.)
  11. The simplistic answer endorsed by lefties is "Give the fanatics what they want and they will quit being fanatics." But looking at history, IMO, religious societies are better at fighting for what they want than secular ones. In a religious society, everyone is united in believing their duty is to something larger, to some "supernatural monitoring authority". They will outfight and outlast a society who just wants the fuss to be over. In societies united by religious belief, almost everyone will stand behind the fanatics. This is hard for Westerners to fathom because for them - religion is just background noise in society. Yes, Western customs and holidays have been influenced by religion but it holds little influence in people's everyday lives. I think this is why most people don't take Islamic extremism seriously. They have no idea how deep and how far it can go. Thus, the "Rainbows & Unicorns" thinking - the same immigrants causing problems in other countries will be different when they come HERE.
  12. That's not trolling. And neither am I a Russian spy or boot (did you mean "bot"??? I have no idea what insult you're trying to put forth here.) or dupe or whatever other name you want to call me. And this sentence makes no sense: I'm a troll who is big into Muslim prayers blocking the streets and you believe my prayers should be scheduled? WTF
  13. Well, then that's the problem - some people think the issue of blocking city streets for all citizens multiple times a day for religious reasons needs "serious discussion". For others, it's just common sense that allowing this is ridiculous.
  14. And here is the reason why we have the "obstacle" of making them prove their capabilities: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/winnipeg-doctor-suspended-botched-circumcisions-1.4953561 And the worst part is that this "doctor" KNEW he was grossly under-performing and just didn't care:
  15. Not sure what you're saying here? Are you saying, Blocking public streets for prayer should not be allowed or are you saying that it would be wrong to ban public praying that blocks the streets because it would really only be a ban for one religion - which in your view would be wrong? Are you saying that there are no people who take the view that it is Islam's religious right to block the streets for prayer and that religious accommodation is of utmost importance in a free society? Because it appears that a large number of people DO believe that, otherwise it would not be controversial or even be discussed in articles or even happening, for that matter.
  16. The politically correct response to this is "It's their religious right to do so" and "F*@%K everyone else, Islam must be accommodated."
  17. Ahhhhhhh, it's a full-on jihad against an unbeliever. Haha, OK.
  18. Denied! https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/omar-khadr-denied-eased-bail-conditions/ar-BBRfLNF?li=AAggNb9&ocid=spartandhp He's like the jihadi version of Paul Bernardo - always trying to get out. I hope they keep denying him.
  19. First, you denied that Islam is centuries behind and then you provided examples. It's not my fault you changed the argument to only what is socially acceptable in order to defend Islam. A society would have to stop catering to a religion's demands. It's one thing to have a private belief that you must stop work 5 times a day to pray. It's another thing to demand prayer rooms and foot washing stations be installed in all public buildings and offices, at the expense of taxpayers. The rest of society should not have to bend over backwards to accommodate and finance their endless demands. Same for the seperate school system - there should be no Catholic schools, no Islamic schools. If the Catholic school system was scrapped, I'm sure there would be some rumblings of discontent but if Islamic schools were scrapped, I'm not so sure Muslims wouldn't wage jihad over it. And before you tell me I'm an Islamophobe for thinking that, I would remind you that the UK refused to help Asia Bibi because they were afraid of the Muslim backlash that would come.
  20. You specifically denied that Islamic culture is in any way centuries behind: Then you provided 2 examples of your claim, specifically saying that they were just EXAMPLES of the many other ways Islam is only a few decades behind. I think I comprehended what you were saying just fine. If you'd like to amend your initial claim, you are, of course, welcome to.
  21. I imagine she will be able to dig up a case or two of Western countries killing for blasphemy. One or two cases will "prove" that Western countries of a couple decades ago are exactly the same as Muslim countries today.
  22. You would have to ask Dia. She's the one that says Islam is only a couple of decades behind the West in everything.
  23. Well, apparently it was only about 10 or 20 years ago that Western countries were killing people for blasphemy, too.
  24. I spent 3 weeks traveling around China and the people were nothing but friendly and happy to see Westerners. Especially in the smaller places where they don't see Westerners much - they all want their picture taken with you or they hand you their babies to have their baby's picture taken with you, too.
  25. Why is it ridiculous? Do you think the German people knew where their government was going with the Jews, that they would all end up in ovens? It was a gradual process. The point is that sometimes governments don't tell the people what they're really up to.
