Bernier is also an MP. If they are using taxpayer resources to attend an O'Leary press conference then that is a different story.
-
I am only pointing out the works of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim who lived centuries ago and complied what they saw as the true Hadith and not what other people have created before and after and attributed to Muhammed for their own purposes. A lot of what people claim to be Hadith are the same as fortune cookies that claim Confucius say. What agenda are you trying to propagate?
-
The Hadith is a large collection of mostly irrelevant sayings that someone attributed to Muhammed in order to propagate their agenda. There are well over a half million Hadith, but how many of them are considered true or sound? There have been attempts to validate them, the Sahih of Bukhari has 2712 unique entries and the Sahih of Muslim has about 4000 unique entries (yes there are overlaps between these two sources).
-
Yes, but what was Bernier's press conference about? Are you telling me that no taxpayer resources assigned to Conservative MPs have ever attended a Trudeau press conference?
-
Except stoning is illegal in Egypt, so those Muslims are not experts in the art like you. Yes there have been a few rare incidents of "community justice" that involved stoning, including one a couple of years back of a man being stoned for stabbing his wife. The Quran does not mention stoning, you are referring specifically to Iran and its penal code. Stoning can be found in the Bible and Torah however, and was used in ancient Greece.
-
Are you saying the Bernier's press briefings are partisan events? Why is he drawing a taxpayer salary as an MP if all he does is partisan events?
-
No, that is 57% of the Muslim population (polled). You would need to multiply that by 88% to get a total of 50% of the population. The poll question did not say "teenage girl, not to kill her to quickly, etc" but then you like to misquote statistics anyway.
-
Do you believe in misquoting statistics? When 70% say Sharia should be the law of the land, and 81% of those agree with stoning, that makes 57%, not 90%. That would be from one of the worst of the countries (Egypt), and most are far lower than that (e.g. Turkey works out to 10%).

America under President Trump
?Impact replied to betsy's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I was just pointing out that both hypertension and diabetes (type 2) are by a large measure influenced by environmental factors and can also be treated that way. That is not to say that the complications arising from these diseases don't require medical intervention, but for a large percentage of those who suffer from the disease there are non-medical solutions. Other chronic diseases like cancer may have an environmental factor influencing them but they cannot be treated that way. -

diet & exercise, not a good example for health insurance. -
Are all verses in the Quran a rule? I don't want to derail this thread into discussing the Quran in general (although that would be a good topic on its own), but I think there are plenty of verses that don't qualify as rules. I assume what you are really trying to get at is the Quran is the only valid source of Islamic rules. As you reference that there is no compulsion in the system, then if I have not submitted to Sharia I am not the one to accept what is and is not a rule. Will you answer directly: are those men who impose "Sharia law" on others breaking Sharia?
-
I asked a direct question, and you respond in parables. Maybe you are one of those Christians, never a direct answer from them either. I suggest if you differentiate between "Muslim" countries and "non-Muslim" ones then you support the idea that Sharia is enforced by others, even if you don't want to admit it. During my childhood, Islam was never mentioned. You need to get a clue about history in Canada when dealing with us old folks.

So that 400 acres of Crown Land I have my eye on should be given to me? -

There certainly was just cause to wiretap that computer in Trump tower communicating with Russia, but we have learned nothing beyond the fact it was primarily a conduit to a Russian bank with close connections to Putin & the FSB. -

I guess 400 acres of land is nothing in your book. -
President Trump's job harder than PM Trudeau's
?Impact replied to bush_cheney2004's topic in Canada / United States Relations
Take into account that Trudeau rules at the pleasure of Parliament, if his party turns on him for any reason (does not have to be criminal) then he can be kicked out. Yes, a coward Prime Minister could prorogue Parliament to delay that but thankfully they don't come around that often. -
Yes, but do you agree with "Marginalizing someone is being maliciously divisive!"? It seems that betsy doesn't ever want to support someone that mentions others on their website. Obviously she never supported a Conservative candidate because they were maliciously divisive forever with their website that is dedicate to the Liberal opposition (Just Visiting, Nice Hair, etc.).

So the instant Bernier or Leitch single out anyone on their website, you will immediately remove them from consideration?

Still Going to Buy the F-35, Really?
?Impact replied to Hoser360's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
China makes a comparable aircraft, and they have far better air-air missiles. Russia makes a far better fighter if that is what you want. That combined with unmanned vehicles and Trump can go broke building F-35s. -

No problem, we can walk away from a Trump deal very easily. -
Just to let you know I use Safari about 50% of the time, and I only have the intermittent problem I described above.

I'm sure you could come up with more adjectives than that. -

No problem, lots of other fish in the ocean. If Donald doesn't want to sell, then he can cozy up to them all by himself. -
There has been a decline in birth rates all over the world, but yes much more can be done. In sub-Saharan Africa the decline has only be 37% between 1960 and 2006 compared to 61% in Asia and Latin America. Access to modern contraceptives would hep much more, but you do everything to stop that and then whine when they get pregnant.

It seems the right wing want them to have babies and babies and babies. When someone mentions a condom, they call them a murderer.
