  1. So someone commits murder or rape in China, and then runs to Canada before being caught, what do you suggest? Do you want to harbour a murderer, rapist, etc? Do you want them roaming our streets freely?
  2. Yet when asked today by Evan Smith, chief executive of the Texas Tribune, if he though Trump was fit to be President he declined to answer.
  3. Trump got a vote from Ted Cruz, and Clinton got a vote from Kim Kardashian. Which one of these intellects are you going to follow?

Are you claiming to be more intelligent than Kim Kardashian? That's definitely debatable.

I put the intellect of Trump, Cruz, and Kardashian all on the same level.

  4. To be fair, go outside of the Greater Montreal Area and there is very little English. Yes, in certain professional segments like technology it is well understood but not amongst the larger population. Still overall I agree that Quebec is more French/English bilingual (both total number, and also percent of population) than any other province. Ontario does have a sizeable French speaking population in the north, I would not like the see Ontario declared an English province. There are some border towns and even rural areas along the Ottawa river in both provinces where there is a mixed population. I think the French in Hawkesbury are mostly bi-lingual, as with the English in Hull. I know there is some English rural population in the Pontiac region, not sure their level of bilingualism. I think the point cybercoma was trying to make is major cities. Most of the French in NB seem to be in rural northern areas. I guess Edmundston qualifies as a city, but it would be hard to call it major. I agree many of the rules for business make sense, but some are stupid. The old apostrophe hunt and some of the current attempt to changes names are brainless, a business name is multi-national and part of their identity. If the business is local (e.g. Swartz's) then it made sense, but national (e.g. Eaton's) and International didn't (still trying to think of an international example from that era). The font size rule is idiotic, it just makes many signs hard to read (e.g. in fast food restaurants); yes French should be prominent (ie. on top) but if the business wants to serve English clientele then don't make it difficult. Implementation is often the bigger problem, every so often you hear about dumb hunts by the language cops.
  5. Pension was a federal responsibility so what do you want me to say? At least we now have a responsible federal government so the situation will be resolved.
  6. You can get by quite easily speaking English in Montreal, but try and get by speaking French in Saint John, Halifax, Charlottetown, Toronto, Winnipeg, Regina, Edmonton, or Victoria. I doubt you would do much better in Fredericton (even though the province is officially bilingual) either but I haven`t spent much time there so I can`t say for sure.
  7. Section 296 of the Criminal Code of Canada is about blasphemy. We need to get it repealed.
  8. Very flattering makeup, I gotta get me a tube. If Hilary`s cough means she is going to keel over and die tomorrow, then Trumps orange skin means he has a fatal disease. I am using your logic, so you should be happy.
  9. How many times does this have to be explained to you. The government does the vast majority of its relocation moves during the first month they are in office. Ten times longer is totally, 100%, completely, irrelevant. If you want to make a comparison, then do it at the end of the term and stop this nonsense. b.t.w., after the money returned the actual amount is $155k. Will the Conservatives return the extra money they stole, or will it still be $325k? Harper increased the budget for the PMO by several fold, and there were many repeated attempts to have it broken down. He refused again and again. That is what the Conservatives have hidden. All you do is ignore the truth. Why? You accuse me of deflecting, but you totally ignore the truth and repeat the same lies over and over again. Repetition does not change the truth. I have multiple times said this was wrong, what do I have to do to get you to hear that?
  10. I bet you were a Vietnam war supporter as well: "Love it or leave it"
  11. Must be solid facts then, no way a malicious rumour would spread amongst the already decided
  12. I am not deflecting, go back and see that I actually criticized these expenses. What I am simply pointing out is that these are not the highest expenses, the highest was under Harper, over $8,000 higher for a single move. During his tenure expenses were over twice that what was incurred under Trudeau. Yes, he was in office longer but governments moving in is when most of the relocation expenses are incurred. The rules should have been changed long ago, but Harper hid it and now his little MPs are bitching and crying without realizing they were worse offenders.
  13. Another desperate attempt by the Trump scum squad to pretend there is something wrong. This was already proven garbage a long time ago, get with it betsy, at least spread the latest BS and not old stuff.

For a man with the benefit of hanging around so many high level people, and with such a great education, Trump is astonishingly crude and ignorant.

  14. When a new government moves into the PMO, that is when most of the advisors will tag along; the 10 years is irrelevant. With the $41k returned, it is now $180k or about half what Harper spent. Yes, $93,131.93. The assumption is it was to Guy Giorno, Harper's chief of staff, but that has not been confirmed.
  15. What an outstanding endorsement, almost up there with David Duke. Much better to seek the support of The Boss.
  16. After 9 years, we get to see how many miles of pipeline to blue water gets built. The bar is very low.
  17. Yes, they heard that the trough got a lot bigger (several hundred thousand dollars at a sitting) in the past decade, thank to the likes of Wallin and other Harper appointees.
  18. I don't deny that Trump has orange skin, I am just trying to find out why. I listed some of the disorders associated with this condition. I do hope the old guy doesn't keel over from his obviously failing health.
  19. Perhaps, we do know he pals around with Trump and even provides him loans to bail him out of trouble.
  20. We have a proper medical report from Clinton's doctor, and it clearly shows that health is not an issue. Trump has failed to provide the same, yet he and his peanut gallery keep making up stories about Clinton. The truth is Trump will keel over and have a mental episode, while Clinton still has a few good years on her. Admit that for Trump, health (amongst many other things) is a big issue. Does Trump have Patterson pseudoleprechaunism syndrome, a rare disorder characterized by excessive pigmentation, looks skin, unusual face, several mental retardation and bone abnormalities? Does Trump have hemochromatosis, a disorder in which there is a high level of iron accumulates in the tissues and organs in the body. Hemochromatosis is a type of iron overload disease and can result in serious, even life-threatening complications.
  21. Has that been verified, or is it still just a statement from a Conservative MP? If it was capped, then why was the cap not specified in the rules? What specifically was capped? The incidentals that were returned were below $30k in each case.
  22. I guess that depends on what they are (or are not) doing with him. Seeking multiple points of view is good, adopting one without due diligence is not.
