Gas prices in Ontario were mid 90s in 2007.  They were mid 90s in 2010.  Right now demand is high, Trudeau has done everything he can to limit supply and he’s put two separate carbon taxes on top of that.  And you wonder why Canada needs the dollar to be much lower?  Stop defending terrible policies that hurt the middle class.

A lower dollar helps make Canadian exports more competitive. 

BTW high oil prices usually result in a higher dollar. Can't have it both ways. 

Lower dollar reduces purchasing power and makes Canadians poorer. Our dollar historically followed oil prices but so much has been done to stifle the industry and restrict exports, that's no longer true.

Given all the state Republican governments seem committed to doing their best to limit voting rights to make it harder for urban dwellers and minorities to vote I see a direct link between the number of Republican state governments and the success of the Trump party at the national level.

Youngkin is a Trumper. He just has to downplay is relationship with Trump because Trump lost Virginia by 10 points.

BTW any Republican that has spoken out against Trumpism has been marginalized. You can't be a Republican and oppose Trump. 

That's the way I see it too. There ae very few conservatives left, and they are keeping their heads down because Trump and their base are no longer conservative. All they seem to care about are sticking it to the 'libtards' and forcing everyone to have the same religious beliefs and sexual mores as them.
