I would have to go back 2 or 3 weeks for articles when current ones not the reduction. 

There were certainly hospitalization issues in July. And the continued death rate that hasn't really dropped much since June is evidence of that. 

"Flattening the curve" somehow morphed into "give your governments & law enforcement agencies unprecedented total and unfettered control over your rights and freedoms and limitless spending of tax dollars with no accountability, and close all businesses, and institutions on authoritarian command...except for Walmart".  Huh, didn't see that coming.
