I’m just trying to figure out why it’s ok for the world’s worst emitters of C02 to have until 2030 to start cutting emissions by the same people that insist that it’s an urgent issue. Those are two diametrically opposite positions. But us cutting our minuscule emissions is going to get them to cut theirs. When is that? Soon? Or do we have to wait until 2030? Also, what happens if they don’t?

So you think it’s wrong as well that we impose penalties on ourselves before the biggest emitters do? We can agree! And that its not really an urgent issue if the Paris accord deemed it satisfactory that they have until 2030.
