I saw one of those Footballoutsider disciples on this ESPN show Numbers Don't Lie. He had a mancrush on Brady that made Colin Cowherd's look tame.

I think the implication there is that Canada's good name was lost. Seeing that for the last 6 years we've been under Conservative rule you could reasonable make the assumption he's saying that the CPC has hurt Canada's reputation.

Well that's what's being asked of Ford here. The lady wants confirmation that the donations were paid back. What's making this newsworthy, I suppose, is that Ford is ignoring the requests to pay the money back. So what recourse does the lady have? I'm curious, I don't know. It's not a criminal offense, I don't think, So I can only see a fine as the potential punishment.

This is actually more damning to the CPC than it is to Sun News. Apparently they didn't even know that people were just picked out of the air. Maybe they should have done their research but it was just a photo-op reallly. If you ever watch Ezra Levant's show he's hardly an apologist for the CPC.

Well what's the potential punishment for this crime? Jail time? Fines? Getting demonized by people that already hate his guts? I'm sure he'll get over it. And if it comes to it I'm sure he'll repay the donations. But the story indicated that the donors don't even want the money back. Perhaps he'll donate the equal sum he received another charity to make himself look even more unethical.

How's this going to work against Ford in an upcoming election campaign. Rob Ford. . . he solicited illegal donations . . . For his charity! Damn the guy must be the spawn of Satan.

Are you implying he pocketed this money otherwise I don't see any problem trying to raise funds for your foundation even if you're using your status as mayor to help.

I'm not an ardent defender of Cuba but at least it has a good education and health care system. I'm sure its citizens would do a lot worse if people stopped visiting there as tourists. I grow rather tired of this sentiment that if you can't afford to vacation in the Barbados or Hawaii you probably shouldn't vacation. $700 per person to go to a 3-Star in Cuba is a lot of money for lots of people. I was in the Dominican Republic last year and my friends and I went on an excursion to an Island off the coast of La Romana. There was an open bar at the beach we were staying at for the afternoon. Being dooshy tourists we tried to speak to the bartender in the limited Spanish we knew. He told us to kindly stop trying to speak Spanish and just speak in English. The reason? He wanted to learn better English. Why? Because he wanted a job at one of the resorts and you need to be able to speak relatively good English to work at a resort. Those resorts are the plum job in these countries. I imagine it's a similar case in other poor countries people go to for a vacation. Imagine the plight of these people if no one ever visited their country from the First World simply because we oppose the conditions these people have to live off the resort.

Remember in the 2008 election when Stephen Harper lost his potential majority because of support from Quebec simply because he wanted to cut government grants to the arts. My hostility is directed at Quebec in this instance. Krista Erickson is on when most productive people are working. I find her show rather clumsy when I do get a chance to watch. She's not the headliner of this network and to base your opinion of Sun News because of her is unfair. But who cares because she's hot.

I'm sure Mexican authorities can see how Canadians are treating this instance of assault. It's not like some idiot that gets himself killed by going off the resort and doing things he/she probably shouldn't. This lady was assaulted on the resort. And if people aren't safe on the resort then that's a problem. That being said there's no evidence to support that this guy is just a fall-guy for some sort of conspiracy to beat a woman to within an inch of her life.

I think those are generally crimes of passion and involve revenge. For example if you caught your wife cheating on you. Women could be equally as prone to this. It's certainly not something found only in Western cultures. It's also not like they are trying to purify their family in the eyes of God. Also in Muslim countries women can be killed for being the victim of rape. I don't see this happening in the west.

Not only that but the ridge is a spinal deformity. I know people with ridgebacks, they a nice large breed of dog. The fact that they have to have this weird ridge is ridiculous.

I'm sure this was addressed at some point in the previous 40+ pages but someone at the Montreal Children's Services should be made an example of because of this. The girls knew something like this was could potentially happened but because of "Cultural Sensitivity" they did nothing. I bet if this guy was white or if he had, heaven forbid, spanked the girls, he'd have been arrested on the spot.

His "Dear Jack" Letters were a common thing on his radio show I do believe. I guess he did one after his death probably regarding the ridiculous treatment the death got in the media. WGAF.

I can't say that I'm the biggest Sun News fans out there. I'm not like some of the people that hate it because it's a conservative alternative to the CBC News, some of the people on there are really good. I used to love Michael Coren's show on the Christian-based CTS but everytime I tune into his show he's talking about the middle-east or gay issues or anti-freedom issue, it's a lot of the same old stuff. I really would like to hear more panel shows like he did on CTS. I still don't understand the outrage with the Krista Erickson clip. The woman she was interviewing made a good living basically getting government grants for interpretive dance. I'd have met her with hostility to. If I want to passively watch TV news broadcasts, I have no problem tuning into Sun over CBC News.

I'm not a huge fan of Adler either but he does seem to have a decent following for his radio show.

Well that would mean the person will have to be released in 35 years. All this means is that in 25 years these ghouls get a parole hearing. We can't assume what they would be like in a quarter century. The parents will be in their 80's by the time they'll be up for parole not exactly a threat to re-offend, but I'm sure there's a public will to have all the people convicted today die in prison. Then again they have said they will appeal the decision so this story isn't over.

I don't think he thought he was going to win the election. Yesterday his Health Minister threatened to de-list C-Sections and Knee Surgery.

Sorry Josh Matlow. One of those "mighty" middle councillors that Ford was talking about. He acted all butthurt and said that Ford should open a history book to find out who "Joe Stalin" was.
