  1. Yeah but the holes in the piercing can go away and the precious foreskin can never come back. blah blah.
  2. So you're comparing someone's finger to a about a centimeter of penis skin.
  3. The religious reason is the reason no reasonable government will ban it. But people don't always do it because of religion. You're a bit to fixated on people getting their wang snipped. If it was that large a public health issue then it would be banned because it's, you know, a public health issue. Not because people think it violates the human rights of infants. Do you have statistics that suggest how often circumcisions go wrong? 1%? 5%? 10%? Not an insignificant percentage of the population of men are circumcised so there'd be some record of a problem with having it done over the pas 5,000 years people have been doing it.
  4. Whoa! Slow down guys we don't need to get too ethnic with these foods. http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/article/1225368--toronto-s-hot-dog-carts-allowed-to-expand-menus This is great because I'd have no clue where to get a Bagel and a Coffee in Toronto. Why Veggie Burgers and not real burgers? Hippies!
  5. So McDalton isn't incharge of his own party. Well this explains everything.
  6. Very true. I apologize for the error.
  7. I thought he promised not to raise taxes.
  8. You're joking right? Wasting $180 million to put a power plant in a struggling rural bordertown community is a uniting move?
  9. Or not put it in there in the first place. Canceling the plant during an election campaign is nothing but politics. Starting the project and mothballing it half-way thru is a horrible waste of taxpayer money. Is any Nimby going to be happy with a power-plan near them? I thought Dalton was going to stand up for what's right! They did the exact same thing in Oakville BTW to save that riding's Liberal MPP. The difference the rich Oakvillians faught back with Erin Brockovich so the project never got off the ground. Sarnia-Lambton sure doesn't need a new power plant, but wait, they vote Conservative so fuck em'
  10. http://www.torontosun.com/2012/07/10/taxpayers-hit-with-180-million-cost-of-moving-mississauga-gas-plant Yeah yeah they suck but Hudak blew the election blah blah blah. Devil we know blah blah blah. There are no better alternatives blah blah blah. Harris was worse blah . . . At this point a Colobus monkey can do a better job running this province than Mcguinty. He's killing industries, he's fighting with the doctors, he's fighting with the teachers, he's making hydro increasingly unaffordable. He really hasn't done a lot to remove the deficit. For the most part he's ignored the Drummond Report. Alberta really does look like a nice place about now.
  11. Too bad I didn't see this thread before it was already on Page 3. People who call circumcision barbaric behaviour need to get lives. Seriously don't you have an Israeli Apartheid protest to attend? It's not always a religious procedure and there are benefits to having it done. It makes you're peen easier to clean and enhances sexual feeling. What are the drawbacks? A child will have no memory of it either. I'm thinking people that say they are traumatized because their parents got them snipped have other more pressing mental problems if they're still caught up on that. This will never happen in Germany. Germans telling Jews what to do? Didn't that happen already? Muslims also circumcise and the PC left that want this probably don't want to upset them. Also, ironically, I imagine the people that crusade for the infant's rights against having his forskin removed would also fight for that infants mother to be able to murder him a week or so earlier in the womb. The mother has the right to kill the kid one week but has no right to have a simple medical procedure done the next.
  12. What are some of these shows? Were these Post-Much Music?
  13. I said it made sense, didn't say it was right. Piracy of this kind is only possible because of the internet. I wouldn't agree with a surcharge because it's forcing you to pay for something you may or may not use. Ultimately people who create good content find a way to get paid. Great TV shows and movies are still being made despite the internet. The Netflix model is probably what we'll see in the future for entertainment. A flat fee for as much content as you want.
  14. http://www.itwire.com/your-it-news/home-it/55581-igoogle-goes-byegoogle-in-move-google-users-are-hating iGoogle is great. You can customize RSS feeds on websites you enjoy and check your Gmail at the same time. Does anyone else have a similar RSS feed Home page to recommend. This move by Google simply doesn't make sense.
  15. Can you say "McDalton Days"
  16. Didn't think so. Looks like there may be teacher's strikes this September If the province budges a millimeter from the deal they signed with the Catholic teacher then I'd assume the Catholic teachers would be pissed.
  17. Didn't they piss it away by infrastructure projects like the Canadian Economic Action Plan? Or did they just piss it away buying Beer and Popcorn? (Sup Liberals)
  18. Obviously the Conservatives had to spend more than they probably wanted to due to the Minority government they had up until last year. I remember in 2008 the Conservatives wanted to balance the budget but the opposition parties threatened to take over with a coalition government. The CPC yielded and went into Keynsien economics mode. People on the left criticize them for trying balance the budget now, they need to make up their minds.
  19. Well the entire narrative of Season 4 was to make Walt seem extraordinarily unsympathetic. Up until Gus takes Walt out into the desert and threatens to kill his family you kind of think of Gus as the good guy (as weird as that seems). And you like the way he's taken Jesse under his wing. It's not until the final episode of the season where you realize why Walt is the protagonist. He really is the smartest guy in the room and he. . . wins.
  20. That's what the bureaucrats in Toronto want, which is probably why the food truck program failed. It's expensive doing all the prep at another location if it has to be a commercial kitchen. I don't see any evidence of the food being pre-done offsite on any show I watch dealing with food trucks in America. There's a show on Fox called Master Chef that did a Food Truck episode this week and everything was prepped cooked in the truck.
  21. What you don't want to see if Hank finally catches Walt? You gotta know evidence of Jesse and Walt will be available once he investigates Gus' empire. Will the series end happy for Walt or will he be caught? I'm looking forward to finding out.
  22. Samsung is currently the top smartphone maker in the world and Android has almost 60% marketshare so more people are enjoying the freedom Android offers. My opinion is that the customizability Android offers makes it the better platform. Widgets are great! You also don't have to wrestle with iTunes for everything.
  23. Well it's a lot quicker and easier to look up something on small screen than boot up a laptop. Of course that assumes your PC isn't always on but if it, that's wasteful. For example having IMDB and Shazam available while watching a movie on your sofa is pretty cool BS! Their current line of phones do exactly what they've always done. The competition is offering services and doing it much better than RIM. Having an iPhone is a status symbol. But an Android phone requires some actual knowledge of how the device works. People like them because it's really cool tech and to some extend makes life easier. My dad has a BB and when he sees what my phone can do he says "I can see why RIM is in trouble"
  24. Class before we review the Handmaid's Tale: I'd like to tell you that if you have a mom and a dad you're family isn't desirable.
  25. That deal with the Catholic teachers probably won't be repeated with the other Unions.
