  1. You're cherry picking things to pretend to care about. Biden sounds coherent all the time. Just saw him take questions today. You'll put your head in the sand based on that fact. Conversely, I never see Trump on TV where he doesn't compulsively lie.
  2. I guess making up your own reality is typical.
  3. And you can cherrypick embarrassing moments from his rallies.
  4. Trump denies downplaying the virus. He's on tape saying he likes to "downplay" the virus. He must think his MAGA fans believe everything he says.

      Car accidents are contagious now?

  5. Have you seen Trump off Teleprompter?
  6. Micheal Bloomberg to spend $100 million to campaign for Biden in Florida. If Trump loses Florida, his chances of winning the EC are VERY slim.

      2016:   "Trump must win Florida"

      2016:    Wrong

      Did I say "must"?

  7. Kind of like China or India, doesn't mean it's a great place to live.
  8. Nice country that would rather see hundreds of thousands die than hurt to Stock Market.
  9. That appears the be the goal of the current administration as they would prefer people to die than for "panic" to set in. However panicking about Black Bloc Protestors is perfectly fine.

  11. "It's a Killer" - Trump. Can't escape that kind of quote. Ironically when Trump is trying to suck up to Woodward he actually sounds somewhat sensible. Too bad he can't replicate that in his outside voice.

I hear that Trump created the asteroid that slammed into the Yucatan around 60 million years ago.

  12. Weak Trump blinks on Tariffs the day Canada was to announce retaliatory tariffs. Fighting with the largest trading partner of many key swing states is clearly bad politics.
  13. Didn't read my entire post. The US is catching up to the UK and will likely past them before the election.
  14. People are enthusiastic about removing Trump. And unlike Hilary, Biden is largely liked.
  15. Week after week the US caseload and daily death count has remained stubbornly high and consistent. And as predicted Death per capital is now higher than Sweden and Italy. Before the US election it'll, most likely, be higher than the UK. That leaves Spain and Belgium as the only developed nations that have higher, per capita COVID-19 deaths than the US.
  16. The article cites only elective surgeries.
  17. I like how a 2% polling lead in Florida is a time to panic. But Biden's lead across the Rust-Belt and in Arizona is just faulty polling. Biden's path to re-election involves simply taking Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin back. All states he has comfortable leads in. He also has leads in Florida, Arizona and North Carolina. Trump has to keep the three rust belt states as well as keeping Arizona, Florida and North Carolina. Pundits on Bill Maher last night opined that all this hand-wringing about tightening race are just efforts to keep the race more interesting. If the candidate was anyone other than Trump, he'd have been written off long ago. But because Trump won a few states by the most narrow of margins, it's seen that he has an advantage in states he's pretty much never led Biden in?
  18. Cases are most certainly going in the wrong direction in Ontario. Up to 1,700 active cases and 200+ cases a day. Note: this is a fraction of what's seen in the US or even Europe. But it begs the question when/if re-opening measures get rolled back. Hospitalization continues to drop and deaths have not increased. Of the 230 cases today, 70% are 40 or younger. We know that unchecked COVID-19 can get out of control, but we aren't at that stage yet. BUT I don't see us going back to a maskless normal anytime this year. Or even well into 2021.
  19. So you'll vote Liberal then?
  20. Note: The panicking started when the NBA and all public gathering shut down in Mid-March. To continue to downplay the virus after the entire Western World was shut down it depraved indifference.

Is Dr. Tam on tape telling Authors it was much worse than the flu in early February?

  21. Then why would he try to hamper the Postal Service?
  22. That seems like hyperbole. Can you support this claim?
  23. Canada creates 246,000 jobs in August. Per Capita that's almost double the the US figure. And Hundreds (or even Dozens) of Canadians aren't dying each day from COVID.

      Canada unemployment rate = 10.2%.....U.S is 8.4%.

  24. I think you're the one that doesn't get it. I fully understand what absentee ballots are. But if you don't want to wait 8 hours to vote because polling places may be reduced because of COVID-19 (We saw it in the primaries), you may want to use an absentee ballot. In all Battleground States you can ask for an absentee ballot and not have to give a reason why. Trump is complaining about Universal Mail-In ballots but most states don't have that. Some states like Nevada want to move in that direction, but the major states that will decide the election (Arizona, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Florida, Michigan and Pennsylvania) don't have Universal Mail-In balloting and, AFIK there's no move to go that way.
