  1. Which seats will she win?
  2. Liberals could lose every by-election.
  3. What? You're saying we shouldn't pay down our debt?
  4. I guess by your logic the NDP and Liberals are sinking seeing they also lost MPs. The Bloc and the Greens are the only parties that are doing well I suppose.
  5. Ipsos had the Liberals leading by three points, compared to a six point lead in May. Here's all the rent polls. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opinion_polling_in_the_42nd_Canadian_federal_election
  6. Don't know what polls they are. Recent polls have the three parties much closer with the Liberals in the mid to low 30's. If an election were held today the Conservatives could still win more seats than the Liberals, even if not the popular vote. The Conservative Party base is 30%, much higher than any other party, so they just need to win over some of the other 70% of voters. The Liberals poll numbers are similar to what they were during the beginning of Ignatieff's time as leader, not a great sign.
  7. If polls keep going the way they are Harper will be re-elected in 2015.
  8. Imagine a man announcing he'll retire when he's 63 and another getting cancer, all Harper's fault!
  9. Al O'Brien, the chairman of the federal government’s 2006 expert panel on equalization, said that "For example, some studies have suggested Quebec could lose billions of dollars in equalization payments if the true value of hydroelectricity were calculated in the program." http://o.canada.com/2012/10/10/1011-equalization/
  10. Maybe you can ask Nikoforuk for a tinfoil hat if you don't have your own yet.
  11. Except there's nobody in that region who has a profile to replace him.
  12. OMG a sidewalk in the back of a movie theatre has teenagers smoking pot? That's exactly the same as someone standing outside their office building smoking a joint.
  13. I would still rather see government get the profits, and it would be a lot safer. Buying a joint now can be very dangerous. You can't drink in public so there's no reason why we need to allow people to smoke pot in public. I doubt many would want to anyways.
  14. I'm not opposed to legalizing all drugs. Still don't see your point with not legalizing marijuana though. It's a fairly safe drug that could bring in a lot of money to provincial/federal coffers. I'd rather government have the money than dealers. Plus there are people who end up on other drugs because they're not able to get weed or because the dealer is pushing stuff on them.
  15. Still keeps money flowing to organized criminals.
  16. Why not legalize all drugs?
  17. They'd have little to know influence as their own caucus so it wouldn't make much sense. Goldring also doesn't appear to have any issue with the Conservatices.
  18. Yet you haven't provided proof. You showed a chart that went back to Martin's government, what about Chrétien, Mulroney, Trudeau, Clark, Pearson etc.?
  19. Wow you went back 9 years to one other government. As a percentage of GDP Harper's deficits aren't that bad when you compare them to the early years of Chretien's administration, Mulroney's, Trudeau's, Clark's, and Pearson's. http://www.cbc.ca/news/interactives/canada-deficit/debt.html
  20. How exactly would TFW effect the unemployment rate of Canadians?
  21. So you don't think raising taxes on business would have effected if they hired employees of not?
