What should be really easy to understand is that the simplest way to make sure that people only vote once is to make them show up, in person, with ID. IE - the Republican way. The easiest ways to scam the system are 1) to do it by mail, 2) to do it without ID and 3) to allow illegal immigrants to register as voters. IE - The 3 things that the Democrats are in favour of. Given the number of major scams that the Dems have been busted in over the past 3 years, their counter-intuitive plans for the future of voting are not likely good for anyone but the Dems.

You're intentionally ignorant on this subject, that's the real problem. THE best way to make sure that every single person gets to vote, and that they don't cast extra ballots, is to have them show up in person with ID. There's no close second place. Mail-n ballots are fine for the limited number of people who are overseas or in the hospital, etc, but as the main method of voting it's a farce. The idea of just mailing ballots to everyone and hoping no one cheats is patently stupid. That's just plain idiotic. Pretty good. 1) O'Toole is from the GTA, which should help with the Ontario votes that the Conservatives so desperately need, and Ontarians have no reason to blindly follow our scandal-plagued village idiot. 2) Trudeau can't win a single seat in AB, Sask or Man. He'll do worse in the next election than he did in 2019, and that's saying something. 3) Most of the Que seats will go to the bloc, with a smattering of seats split between the Libs, cons and NDP. 4) The Conservatives won the most seats in BC in 2019 and support for the Liberals is down in BC as well. All that Jagmeet Singh has done is carry water for Trudeau, he has nothing to show for his time as leader of the NDP. I think the Conservatives have gained a lot of ground on both parties since 2019 in BC. IMO the only solid voting block that Trudeau might still have is the Atlantic provinces. If Trudeau can't lock that area up again he is 100% toast. I'd love to see the polling numbers from Atlantic Canada. I don't think that another 2011-type total is out of question for the Liberals. It would be a certainty if the NDP had a better leader, but Jagmeet won't steal support from anyone.

I'm not saying that I have every single answer to every single thing that's going on. I'm saying that the end result of C-19 looks a lot more socialist/fascist than Jan 2020 did, and I'm sure that there are a lot of people who are benefitting from the shutdowns who are pushing hard for another round. Worldometer says that there are only 4,000 covid cases in our entire country, but there's still a lot of talk that we're probably headed for another lockdown. They shouldn't "send" ballots to anyone who didn't request them, period, and even that's still too much imo. Dead people shouldn't be allowed to vote. People who have moved to a different state shouldn't be allowed to vote in two states. People who have two homes shouldn't be allowed to vote in two states. In Florida you have to personally request a mail-in ballot. In some states they are going to be sending ballots to everyone. Do you understand the difference?

People are going out to do lots of things.... going to the grocer store, going to protests, etc. They can vote as well. If the election is spread over 3 or 4 days and they have extra polling stations that will be like social distancing at the ballot box.

If that's a democratically arrived-at solution that's one thing, but using mail-in ballots as the primary tool for a Presidential election is not something that the Dems should be allowed to unilaterally foist on America.
