Biden has directly stated his intention to: "redirect money away from the police force" in a show of support for the defund movement. A rose by any other name.... He also wants to "demilitarize" the police, ie stop them from buying surplus military equipment for their SWAT teams, etc. This is fundamentally stupid, just like every other idea that the Dems espouse. FWIW, police don't get military equipment so that they can bully people. A vote of no confidence will end up resulting in an early election. Any member of parliament can call for the vote, and if the PM loses, it's off to election we go. FWIW the US government SHOULD have a problem with Canada's baby-soft stance on terrorism, but that has nothing to do with our soldiers. No one in the US gov't faults individual Canadian soldiers, at all, and your service & sacrifice doesn't go unnoticed at all by patriotic Canadians either.
