I think you missed the whole part about CNN pretending to interview someone, while in reality that person has already been told exactly what to say by CNNers. At the beginning of Tucker Carlson's show today he was going on at length about how top brass in DC, plus a lot of top members of BOTH political parties, are hawkish because of how much money they get from defence contractors when they manage to get new wars started. The thread title is unsupported by the OP, and there are no subsequent posts by the thread starter to flesh it into what the title describes, so basically anything I say here will be OT based on the title. FWIW - The Trump ad is nothing like the Willy Horton ad, but the Willie Horton ad wasn't as bad or as racist as CNN wants to conclude. Willie Horton was a guy who was supposed to be in prison for life without the possibility of parole but got out specifically because of Dukakis and committed serious, violent crimes while he was out. It's not racist to tell that story. It's racist to suggest that it couldn't be told solely on the grounds of the perp's colour. The Trump ad is a great ad. The fact that Biden and Harris openly supported the riots is a very major deal. People who want an end to the violence and to the racial division need to be completely aware of what they're getting if they vote for the duhnamic duo. Sure, Harris/Biden are opposed to the rioting and the violence now, but very recently they were glossing over it, and putting pretty ribbons, bows and hearts on it. That huge lack of empathy and foresight is not what people want in their leaders. Those dolts can't go the wrong ways on policies at the beginning of an event and then switch sides once they finally catch on. They need to take the right tack from the start if they want to be good leaders. The Dems were equally ignorant regarding covid. fter Trump started fighting covid, the Dems were still using it as a chance to virtue signal. "Travel bans are RACIST! Measures need to be taken but they need to go both ways. I'm sick of 'racial bias training' that always assumes that white people are the one, the only, the big bad racists of all time. The whole Russian collusion fiasco was a LIE. They intentionally spent the majority of their time each day lying about that. Things like tax fraud weren't Russian collusion" last time I checked. They straight-up lied about Trump's phone conversation with Zelensky too. They said that he went from talking about a favour to talking about Burisma, but he actually went to talking about crowdstrike at that point, and crowdstrike only applied to Russian collusion. That's actually a serious lie, although it's normal for CNN. Nick Sandman made good coin off of CNN because of their indifference for truth and accuracy. The whole Dr Ford story was a lie - there was no reason to take that woman seriously, there were many serious reasons to completely discredit her, but CNN loudly promoted her as a legitimate victim. They portray terrorist attacks in vans as 'gun control' stories. Same with the Pulse nightclub shooting, which featured a gun that was illegal in the US since before Omar Mateen was born. CNN constantly says that "America's biggest terrorist threat is right-wing terror groups". Really? There are terrorists running around the US every day for the last few months, and they're all taking their marching orders from the Democrats. CNN calls riots with arson, murder, looting and the beatings of innocent bystanders 'mostly peaceful'. Nope. People were saying that McCain was a 'war hero' but in fact he was not a war hero at all. He was a veteran, and he spent a lot of time in a POW camp, but those things do not make him a hero and in actual fact he was not a hero at all. He was a weasel. People who have no skin in the game like to think that they can turn America's military members against Trump, but that will never happen because military men and women LIVE IN the truth. A lot has changed in 4 years. Trump backed the Ukrainians with American missile technology that stopped Russia's aggression cold. Trump called off the plans for ousting Assad. Trump is winding down Afghanistan. Iraq has cooled off. 'Islamic State' is not a state anymore. Trump's willingness and ability to kill terrorist leaders of the highest order, like Suleimani, has proven America to be strong and uncompromising, while at the same time he's not racking up a huge body count of young middle eastern men. The ME is not grieving, instead they're seeing stability coming to their corner of the earth. There can be no starker contrast than the ME that had the terrorist nation known as "Islamic State" grow to be one of the world's 100 largest countries under Obama, and the middle east of only 4 years later with Islamic State completely unseated and peace between Israel and one of the key Arab states. Run your mouth about Trump all you want, America's servicemen live in a harsh reality and they feel the truth in their bones.

Trump ran for an election on a very broad platform with a lot of specific policies and he successfully completed most of them, made a large amount of progress on most of the rest and has worked hard at the rest. As far as politicians go, he's in the top 1% for doing what he says. On the flipside, America had a power-hungry sleazebag with a horrible record as a politician to vote for. They made the right choice. It's unfortunate that a guy like Brad Wall couldn't make it to the 2016 Presidential election in the US. That didn't happen and it's sad. But Trump has been a GREAT President. I didn't predict that (he was the lesser of two evils imo), but I'll at least admit to it.
