The same CBC that won't give any credence to Tony Bobulinski was busted for spreading defamatory rumours from a largely-unknown FB poster. Our media is entirely bogus. The CBC needs to be de-funded. Sink or swim ijjits.

Russian collusion evidence will come first, right Bub? The FBI search for that started over 4 years ago, and all of you leftists have promised us that it's real hundreds of times now. -

There's no escaping the truth of that comment. I get the leftists' point that, "in a perfect world Brionna Taylor would still be alive", but you can't have a perfect world where the police can't do their job, or where it's ok to shoot at them while they're trying to do it. -

Technically they're not 'harming' you by prescribing you medicine because the theory is that 'the new medicine is the bestest thing in the universe'. I'm just contending that, regardless of whether or not the new medicine is (possibly) the best thing available, the Doctors should have to disclose that they also have a monetary reason for that prescription. Another thing that goes along with a drug trial, does this trial drug have a known, bad side effect with another drug that you should be taking for a separate condition? Not that your Dr will kill you by giving that combo of drugs, but what if they don't prescribe you the most effective medication available on the market for your other condition because they've chosen to give you the trial meds? There's clearly a lot of room for a huge conflict of interest here. -

He epitomizes it perfectly. And because he was Obama's right hand man he's like the banks that were considered to be "too big to fail". If Biden goes down he drags the who DNC down to where they actually belong. IMO the most damning email was the email which showed a Burisma board member trying to get Hunter to get his dad to come to Kiev, approximately 1 month before the infamous quid pro quo. If Biden went to Ukraine specifically to shut down the prosecutor, because of that email, then it's proof that he is exactly the person that he's accused of being. There's a lot of other evidence too, to be sure, but that's like a silver bullet. -

If Trump can't win the propaganda war surrounding the election fraud then for the sake of the democracy he needs to step aside, and I don't think this propaganda war is winnable. -

Here's something to think about the next time a Dr gives you a prescription. In Canada, if you hire a realtor to help you buy/sell a house, or you hire a lawyer to help you with a divorce etc, those people aren't allowed to accept any money or any other consideration from any other party involved in your transaction without notifying you or it's an extremely serious ethics breach which they could easily lose their license over. For example you find out that when you sold your home to Mr Pink, Mr Pink gave your Realtor's son a motorbike right out of the blue. You'd have good reason to believe that the motorbike that went to your Realtor was consideration for your realtor giving you bad advice on the price of your home, or for something else that benefitted Mr P. If your ex-wife gave your lawyer a vintage car that she won in your divorce settlement you'd have very good reason to feel like you'd been screwed over. Lawyers and Realtors have a fiduciary relationship with their clients because they're professionals whom we have to put a lot of blind faith in. You'd think that it would be the same with Drs, because your health is more important than your money, but it's not. When they prescribe you medication they don't have to tell you whether or not they get money from the drug companies that they're prescribing your drugs from. https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/pharmaceutical-drug-company-doctor-physician-payment-disclosure-transparency-1.4169888 https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/doctors-pharmaceutical-funding-1.4164625 If you think that your Dr is prescribing the very best medication available within your price range you might be mistaken. There could be a drug co. that's paying Drs to prescribe their medication for a trial of their new drug. Your Dr.: "Oh snap, that stuff definitely doesn't work. Taxme just keeled over and that probably shouldn't have happened. I've had much sicker patients live much longer just by taking cheaper generic drugs. I love the new golf clubs that I bought with my Big Pharma chq though. Hella shiny." -
The US is like the PG-13 hero with striated pipes, a black belt, and a soft heart. It's Jason Statham without the accent. China's military may still be in second place, but they're more like Scarface. They're ruthless and they don't get distracted by the loss of lives. Think of Mao's carnage of the middle of the 20th century, the population-curbing measures of the late 20th century, and the modern-day re-education camps. The Chinese are the Chinese, they're not a loosely-affiliated collection of self-interest groups like America is becoming. "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog", and America is more like two dogs fighting each other. Burn the flag, screw the anthem America is like late-stage Rome imo.

Technofascism and the Individual

Going to university is like wading through an intellectual quagmire. Only the best & brightest people can keep their head above water, and the ones who lack intestinal fortitude (the majority) drown in liberal stupidity and become hapless lemmings. Profs (like the cultists who also go to campuses because they like to prey on newly-emancipated teenage minds) look down on a horde of impressionable kids who are busy focusing all of their mental energy on learning by rote, struggling to fit in, and who are living in constant fear of rejection by the herd, and they see nothing but a blank canvas to colour with their own beliefs . The kids don't have any mental energy left to run their BS filter so it never develops to the same level as their 'roided-up dogma-dendrites. Then the profs force them to regurgitate their liberal POVs for the glorious & almighty checkmarks until they're brainwashed. Done deal. People like Peterson intellectually tower over the horde of muppets that they go to school with. They can't be indoctrinated. If you have a kid that is a strong candidate for a post-secondary education I'd recommend a technical institute, but even at BCIT where there were no basket-weaving classes, and almost everyone lived off-campus, there were still the occasional 'cultists' there who would try to get us to come to religious gatherings and whatnot. The main difference is that there was no lane there for profs to push their religion/leftist screed to us, because all of the classes were technical in nature. It's not an environment where there was room for the discussion of political or religious opinions. In universities where kids get the same types of technical educations, leftist dogma is still mandatory. That was BCIT back in the day though. I don't have a clue what 21st century BCIT looks like. -
It seems as though we're on the path to becoming their vassal at some point in the future. Maybe this will soften the eventual blow. The US is imploding like every other dynasty before it, and China will get tired of paying for our food eventually. They'll also get tired of living with 35x our population density. As far as Trudeau's Media Toadies are concerned, this is a 1-party state and the conservative party is a foreign army at the gates.

Biden will certainly become President, but imo there's almost a zero percent chance of him still being POTUS by 2023 for one reason or another. -

Trump didn't say anything negative about HCQ. Idiot leftists jumped to the conclusion that because Trump said 'HCQ' it was suddenly evil. There was a mad rush to pre-emptively declare HCQ useless against covid, and to make up fake side effects for it. -
OK, you got me 100% on that count. I actually had no idea that's what that meant.

Sorry for using the word buffoonery taxme. It wasn't appropriate.

Technofascism and the Individual
WestCanMan replied to Zeitgeist's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
That's a great thread starter, but honestly it probably requires more than one thread. Seems like a few topics which are worthy of their own thread merged into one. Technofascism (love the term, never heard it used before) is a thread, division is a thread of it's own, gov't fear-mongering as a means to power-grabbing is a thread, intentional economic ruin as a springboard to socialism is a thread, etc. I'm not sure how to consider all of this as one individual head, unless it's a right vs left thread, because honestly the common thread between all of these is: leftists support climate hysteria, covid hysteria, division, cancel culture, witch hunts, techno-fascism, socialism/government overreach, etc. People on the right are against all of that. I'll take on one topic there: the cure to the division topic is simple - reject the divisive narratives of the alt-left media. Eg, "the police are committing genocide against black men" and "Brionna was a model citizen who was shot in her bed during a no-knock raid" and "Rayshard was killed for falling asleep at a drive thru" "women etc. All of those topics/narratives are lies, and they're all wildly divisive. 1) Police kill probably less than 1% of the black men who are killed in the US. 2) Brionna was the recent ex-girlfriend of a major drug dealer, she was still quite involved with him, the warrant allowed for 'no-knock' but the police knocked, she wasn't sleeping, she wasn't in her bed she was in the hallway, and she was killed in a shootout that was initiated by her current boyfriend. 3) Rayshard was killed when he shot a taser at the face of a cop, the fact that he was shot had nothing to do with the original reason for the police being there. That taser had two charges in it, there was still one left. Furthermore, tasers are considered "less lethal" not "non-lethal", and when they're used incorrectly the chance for death or permanent disability is very high. In Georgia a taser is considered a firearm in the eyes of the law. IE, Rayshard was "involved in a gunfight". That's why he was shot. The narratives pushed by the media are divisive and destructive, and it's impossible for a large % of the population to not get sucked in, period. -
TBH, the whole 'Mark of the Beast' title has me leery of even looking in here. It oozes with paranoia and religious buffoonery.

https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/karima-baloch-pakistani-rights-activists-death-non-criminal-toronto-police-say-1.5241415 1 CTV News, aside from being fake, don't even know how to use apostrophes: It's either activists' deaths or activist's death. You'd think that they could get their spell-checks right in the title at least. 2) There's a huge pattern of these Pakistani activists (in Pakistan activists are referred to as "terrorists") being murdered, including members of her own family. She 'went missing' Sunday and her death has already been shuffled into the "we don't give a crap" category. Can Pakistan's political dissidents just be murdered here and have their deaths shoved into the 'whatever' file? Are we doing the dirty work for Pakistan's evil, bigoted government?

To be honest, I never even heard of newsmax until after the election and I've still never seen it. I don't even know who that is and I've never heard his comments. If NewsMax is having a tough go of it that's good imo, because people on the right have been bashing Fox lately for not getting into enough of a post-election uproar which is quite unfair. I get my fun by pointing out the stupidity, hypocrisy and lies of leftists on a daily basis. Seeing you guys eat crow 364 days a year is awesome.

If they said something incorrect then they should make amends. It's important to have at least one news network in the States to have some credibility.

I was surprised to find out that your avatar was someone from Trump's 2020 election campaign. I thought that it was a character from Start Trek.

Lol. I personally love how well this topic illustrates the atrocious stupidity of leftists: Leftists: "Only a few tens of millions of people have ever taken HCQ safely, and after over 1 billion doses have been administered, the fact that Trump said 'HCQ' means that it's suddenly too dangerous for people to take in 2020!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Same leftists: "The C19 vaccine that was created by Trump's Warp Speed program is going to be perfectly safe after a few limited trials and everyone should be forced to take it. You're a total moron if you don't line up for it."
