I think that people are a mix of 1) skeptical about vaccines, especially mRNA vaccines and 2) just being forced to take them when they have no reason to fear covid. They were off by about a half a million dollars.

(Their state has 29M people, about 78% of our population). 3) Although we started fighting covid two months after the US did, and Canadians were in the top ten in the world to hit 5,000 C19 deaths, only 25,000 Canadians died of covid so far. 4) We still have our country shut down after almost half of our population is vaccinated, and we are down to 36 Covid deaths per day. We are fighting this thing like crazy. 5) Canada no longer needs to poach vaccinations from 3rd world countries (we only took 1,900,000 doses from them, a mere 10% of our total).
