  1. I looked at the pegida canada FB site, they seem a bit rabid to me. I agree that it's important for muslims to fit into OUR society instead of changing it to make it more like the religiously-bigoted countres of the ME, but I'm not down with people with masks and guns here either.
  2. You could call yourself a pacifist and start wars for fun. That doesn't make you representative of all pacifists. If someone says they're a Christian, and do the same kinds of things that Christ did, they're a Christian. There's always room for legitimate self-defence, no one will ever live up to the standard that was reputedly set by Christ or Buddha. But people who give an honest effort and come close, sure. Whatever floats your boat.
  3. It's completely relevant jacee. If we're talking about the hate rally that was held against muslims in this thread then we can talk about the hate rallies that were held by muslims in this thread as well. You know what kind of people are famous for banning the discussion of relevant truths don't you? The point of public discussion isn't supposed to be to promote a false narrative jacee. Go to occupy democrats if you want to post in a space where dissenting opinion is banned. It's not like there were only two terrorist attacks and one hate rally in the history of the world. It's simple: open the topic, discuss the whole topic and all of the relevant details, or don't do either if that's what you prefer. But don't try to tell people that they're not allowed to talk about relevant truths just because you don't like them. You started the thread but that doesn't make you the official lord and moderator of it.
  4. I switched your bullets for numbers, just for the sake of clarity. 1) Correct 2) What do you mean by "indirectly"? He made his stupid comment and it's costing us a small fortune. There's nothing indirect about it. 3) Trudeau's "policy" is to grandstand. That's it. Here's one. It's the first topic I even looked into: language requirements: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/canadian-citizenship/grant/applicants-55-years-older-applications-received-june-11-2015.html
  5. I'm pleased, but I won't be pleased if there's another al-quds day hate rally held in Canada.
  6. So this is all BS? Thanks for clearing that up.
  7. The sad thing is that if someone ever does something like that in Canada you have to pray that they don't go to jail, because they'll just get the Clifford Olsen treatment. IE - they'll get their very own RCMP special constables to keep them safe for the rest of their lives and they'll be on the internet sending freedom of information act requests to the government 24/7. Being out of prison is way more dangerous for someone like that in Canada.
  8. If he was successful in his attempt to murder 51 children by burning them alive he would have surpassed the Arianna Grande bomber as the most vile piece of crap to ever set foot on the planet. If he wore a maga hat this would be the biggest news event since the invention of broadcast media.
  9. To be honest, I think that most people know when they're being lied to quite often, they just choose to go along with the story just like they follow along with the script in a Harry Potter movie even though they know he can't cast spells. People suspend their sense of disbelief at will, especially when they get a chance to act like SJWs when they do it. After more than 2 years of collusion investigation by Mueller, with CNN talking heads constantly going on about "impeachment just around the corner" while they were playing clips of Adam Schiff's version of "the sky is falling", Mueller finally concluded that they didn't have any evidence of Trump's team colluding with Russians despite the fact that they received several invitations from them. Now that we know Hillary already paid Russian spies for intel (through another foreign agent Christopher Steele) the fact that offers of help were coming out of the blue takes on a whole new meaning. Maybe they should have a show or two dedicated to "how did we get it so wrong, twenty times per hour, 24 hours a day, for over 800 days? That's about 380,000 times. Should we issue one apology? HAHAHAHAHAHA they either don't know or they don't care." We all saw Trump say "MS-13 are animals." We all saw Nancy Pelosi twist that into "Trump said that all immigrants are animals." We all saw what networks let that quote get out there without questioning it or correcting it. We saw the networks act like Trump was the first President to ever separate children and adults at the border. The pictures that they used when they broke the story were actually taken when Obama was Prez. That didn't stop them from running a whole "Trump is doing something unthinkable" routine on it. We all know that was bullshit. Back when Obama was still president we saw a guy go into a nightclub shouting about Allah, killing people, and they let their guests go on and on about "Republican hatred of gays" as a lead factor. Anyone who didn't know that was bullshit is a total waste of oxygen. I watched CTV show a video of Jeff Sessions saying: "I never talked to any Russian Governement officials or agents about colluding in the election" and Lisa LaFake poured on an extra-thick helping of insinuation behind her comment "but he was caught in a recording talking to a member of the Russian government". And....... they talked about....... c'mon say it....... Russian collusion? Nope. So why the insinuation? Lisa LaFake was calling comment by the Conservatives "character assassination" when they were talking about Lavscam. Really? For 3 years Duffygate was the most important thing on the planet to LaFake and the rest of the bought-and-paid-for-flunkies at CTV. Did she ever characterize a comment about Harper as an attempt at character assassination? It's a huge joke. Honestly just try to catch whomever you're watching lying to you or leading you to believe something that's completely unsupported by actual facts. On CNN they just switched from "Russian collusion" to "no less than 87 other things" before they finished with their first big lie. They didn't even apologize for 2 years of wasting everyone's time and they just went on to the next story. Shouldn't they make a few apologies?
  10. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banu_Qurayza When you read that, keep in mind that history is written by the winners. You don't get to hear anyone else's side of this story. The nuts and bolts of this story is that, under Mohammed's command, a whole tribe of Jewish men had their heads chopped off and their wives and children were sold into slavery (and by the definition of slavery the women and children did not have the right to protect their own genitalia from their owners. IE, raping them was legal) because allegedly they had broken a pact by entering into negotiations. Different versions of the story say that at least some of the Banu Qurayza aided in the siege by the Quraysh. Let's give the benefit of the doubt and say that they all did. Thoughts?
  11. Your take on this? https://business.financialpost.com/diane-francis/trudeaus-holier-than-thou-tweet-causes-migrant-crisis-now-he-needs-to-fix-what-he-started

  14. Correct. Saudi Monitor was the one who introduced the word islamophobia to the thread. Sorry about that.
  15. I don't think "the avenues" are open. Trudeau is doing his best to black them all and our msm is backing his play.
  16. I don't think they want to reward her, I just don't think they can stop her.
  17. I appreciate the difference but muslims here aren't attacking other muslims. I agree that all terrorists are our enemy tho.
  18. Stopped playing the role of SJW princess and get real. Anyone who immigrates here does so on the basis of pretending to want to fit in. Regardless of how far along their claim has gotten, if they commit a terrorist attack, they obviosly lied to get in. Status revoked, I don't care if you end up stranded in the Pacific, just get out of Canada.
  19. Read it again. I didn't say that all. I'm saying that mentioning "where blame lies" is deadly serious. Just say "evil people did something evil and there's a ridiculous cycle of evil that needs to stop". Saying islamophobia is to blame gives the appearance that this is the first ever attack of that nature, which lends justification to revenge/retaliation. No retaliation by either side is warranted. It seems like semantics, but it's an important distinction.
  20. There's a balance somewhere between Trudeau's stance of "the door is open, please check your terrorist affiliations at the door but if you don't want to that's ok" and zero immigration. I literally hate immigration, Trudeau-style. He's more interested in grandstanding than looking for the best possible solution for everyone involved. Also, if Canadians felt like there was at least some chance of deportation for terrorists and their supporters that would one thing, but our current government will let people stay even after they're involved in extreme terrorist activity. It's ridiculous and it actually legitimizes terrorism to a great extent, just like repatriating islamic state terrorists does. Our government views fighting for islamic state the same way as they view fighting for a legitimate country like Spain, Jordan or Peru. It's unfathomable. They're literally as evil as the Nazis who worked in the concentration camps. I feel horrible for honest people who just want to live their own family life in their own peaceful way and contribute to the society they live in, who are cast in the same light as terrorists, but I see more muslims speaking out against the failures of western society and things that offend them than I see speaking out against muslim terrorism and anti-Semitism. That needs some work.
  21. To be honest, you're part of the cycle of inciting & promoting hatred by saying that the attack in Christchurch was the result of "islamophobia", because that would only make sense if there had never actually been any muslim terrorist attacks against churches or Christmas markets. We all know there have been several in recent years. When you say that the attacks are the result of islamophobia that means that the attacker committed his evil dead purely based on an unreasoning fear that there would eventually be a deed as evil as his was, and that's obviously not the case. Your comment can easily be seen as an attempt to provide justification for islamic counter-violence because it provides the illusion that this is the start of some deeper level of evil religious bigotry that we've never seen before and you know full well that it's not. If you want to take a SJW stance, then say that there is no such thing as justifying that type of retaliation/revenge. Justification is the root of all great evil. Hateful people can always jump back in history to the date that's most convenient for them and use those events as justification - the cycle of depraved violence would never end. Say things like: "Killing innocent people in a Mosque is no different from/no better than killing people in a Church. The Christchurch killer is going to the same level of hell as every other terrorist before him, period." That's accurate and appropriate. It doesn't make broad accusations either way. If you know people who talk about retaliation being justified, you should gather whatever information you can about them and report it because they're vocally supporting terrorism, maybe even planning it or providing monetary assistance.
  22. Your answer is ten parts ad-hominem, zero parts substance. It bears more resemblance to a monkey flinging poo in the zoo than a Peterson/Harris type in a debate. Women in Iran just went to jail for taking of their own hijabs and a female lawyer who defended them is looking at lashes and 38 years or Iranian jail time. https://www.cnn.com/2019/03/12/middleeast/iran-sotoudeh-prison-intl/index.html That's the equivalent of a billion years in a Mexican prison. Do us all a favour, go to Iran and criticize the Ayatollah, or go criticize some mullahs in one of the countries that you consider safe, just like you could criticize priests here and make jokes in public about their pedophilia. Try talking about Erdogan or Assad or MBS or Ahmadinejad the same way that Acosta regularly speaks to Trump. You'll suddenly have a greater appreciation for orange people.
  23. I don't know if I would call that political suicide for Ray-Bold. A lot of voters aren't on-side with blatant partisan politics. If she can prove herself right then she has proven herself to be the rarest of birds - a "politician of great integrity", and she will suddenly be the most prominent woman in the history of Canadian politics in an era where the world is looking for some strong women to rise into the highest leadership positions. No one in politics could challenge her for people who consider themselves "in the middle". Unless Trudeau can find a way to vindicate himself she is a very serious threat to win the leadership of the liberal party.
  24. Why wouldn't they want her? Do you see her desire to tell the truth as a character flaw? I don't.
